September Newsletter.
Hello everyone! It's time for the First Newsletter of the 10th Annual Ball. I, Poyudi Hytori, Will be your reporter today!
Newsletters used to be done Semi Monthly during the 8th Annual Ball, and helped out a lot with keeping everyone in the loop. So we wanted to make sure that we did a Newsletter for the 10th as well. This will be a monthly Newsletter. Each Newsletter is a summary of EVERYTHING that has been happening with the Annual Ball thus far. And will hopefully answer any questions anyone has about what is currently happening.
Rumor Quest
First up in this Issue are the Rumors flying around!
- They say that Broken is cheating on Chibi with Angel! The Scandal!
They say soon we will have the Themes for each room picked out.
They say that someone is plotting to steal the spotlight from someone.
Do you know a Rumor? Do you have a rumor that NEEDS to be in the next Issue? Then go ahead and post in this thread with the Juicy Secret.
Advertising Committee Business.
In the past the Ad Committee was for one thing, to post and maintain Advertisements throughout Gaia, and to find affiliates. Their role has changed a lot this year from years past. For this year the Advertisement Committee is in-charge of all the events that are held every year to advertise the Annual Ball. In the past this was done by an "Event Committee", but this year the two Committees have become one.
Events are not only to advertise, but so that members of the guild have something fun to do during the year besides just planning and raising funds all year long. So please don't forget to stop by and help with this all important task!
Oktoberfest Planning Thread :
Epcot Illuminations has been chosen to host the Annual Ball's Halloween Event! And has already started a planning thread for it. If you wish to Co-host it with him, or to help out in anyway, then please stop by his thread.
The Silent City :
A city so Silent, the moon shining brightly in the sky, a spirit whispers. Soon we shall celebrate
Poyudi Hytori is hosting a Role Play Event. This is a 3-Day Event taking place in the Silent City (Which will be in Barton Town.) Currently Poyudi is looking for someone to host it along side him, and for a few Role Players to play as Servants. If your interested, go sign up.
Castle Gaia :
Crystalloid's Advertising Thread in Barton Town is offering to Host Events for anyone wishing to do small themed events. If your interested please go check it out.
Fundraising Committee Business.
The Fundraising Committee is in Full swings, swarming with Ideas and People. Already several Ideas are being planned, and people are being recruited for each one.
Art Auction :
Poyudi Hytori has Set up an Art Auction to Kick off the Fundraising Spirits. This is Auction is very close to being ready and is Due to go live in one week. While Sign ups are closed, people can still stop by and check out their Test Thread to catch a glimpse of the Auction itself. If you wish to sign up as a Back up Artist (To be a replacement encase someone has to drop out.) the sign ups for that are still open.
Be on the look out for the Art Auction when it goes live later this month.
Bump Shop
Coming from last's year Idea of a Bump Shop, Jess has started up a Sign up for a new Bump Shop. If you have plenty of free time, wish to help out the Annual Ball, and can Bump a lot. Then stop on by and sign up to be a Bumper.
TekTek Shop
The Sign ups for the Tektek Shop are now Closed as Jess gets ready to for this shop to go live. The Tektekers are offering Free Tekteks to people, and are collecting tips/donations along the way. Go check out their Test Thread
Booty Grabing
There has been a team assembled to Grab Booty for Gold! (xD) Already over 200,000g has been collected. Do you like Grabbing Booty? Head on over and help them out.
News Room Planning
Crystalloid has been chosen to lead this year's News Room! Helping her out are Hikari Aijuntani, Epcot Illuminations, and Poyudi Hytori. It is certain that they will be needing plenty of people to Role Play as Reporters during the Annual Ball. (And to help answer Question after Question.)
Epcot and Poyudi are only helping with the planning though, neither one as of now has any plans to actually take part in the room itself when it's live during the Annual Ball.

The Plots~
If you wish to help out with planning the Plot, the Plot Committee has been opened for all. This year Theme being Dream Lands, it is sure to be loads of fun.
Guild Chat
After finding out that the New Guild Chat is nothing but the old Friends Chats. It's been decided that using a service like Tiny Chat or Chatango is a far better option. As with the Friends Chats it is very difficult for most people to keep up with what is being said.
That said, we will Mourn the loss of Meebo Chatrooms come October. T.T
Live Events?
Currently the only Live Thread the Annual Ball has is Castle Gaia. We hope to have MANY live threads before the next Newsletter.

In Closing
So far this year so much work has been done, our new Host Broken is trying her Best to continue on the Proud Annual Ball. This will be our 10th year, a milestone for us who have worked for many years with the Annual Ball. This Pride for the Annual Ball is showing greatly this year as many things are being done with record speed, and all the work put in to make sure we do more this year in terms of events and fundraising then ever before is paying off. So let's keep this pace going all year round everyone!
As the first 30 days of planning have past us by, take a moment to see how far we've already come, and how far we have yet to go.
