The Sands of Time Blow.... Alright! before the Ad committee first came to be I posed an idea for an RP event to do in Barton Town. This thread will be to talk about it, and organize the event itself. This event can happen at anytime. But I'm shooting for November (Maybe Sometime in October. But unlikely.) Below is the quote from the original Thread, which is in a Crew Only Forum.
This is only a part of what I posted, as the rest of the post has nothing to do with the event. xD First The Silent City... This event would be hosted by a mule (Working name Cerez). And a second mule would come in on the second day of the event (Working name Solezz) Cerez Cerez is a Spirit, and runs this Silent city. She prefers to have no sound once so ever, but for this event she'll allow some quiet noise. Her skin is black, and her hair a light blue color. The clothes she weres are also this light blue color. Think Quiet, Peaceful, Elegant, Female. Solezz Solezz is also a spirit, but is very different then Cerez. His colors are very alive (Think Red, Orange, and Yellow.) With red hair. Solezz Loves sound, the louder the better. Think Loud, Wild, Party Animal, Male. Day 1 During the first day it will be Cerez all by her lonesome hosting the party (Event) Reminding guests to be quiet over and over again if they speak even a little to loudly for her tastes. She will be taking the voices of guests who break the rule of quiet in the Silent City. When she hits 50 voices the plot of the second day starts. (At the beginning of Day if this goal isn't reached she'll simply post going nuts and stealing voices.) Role Play Guidelines for the first day: The Silent city is quiet, far too quiet, it makes any normal person want to simply scream with all their might!
Once your Voice is taken please do not 'Talk' in the normal sense. You may write, play sureraids, or telepathically speak.
If you speak Telepathically I would prefer that only one person at a time could hear it, unless your a spirit animal, then everyone can hear it at once. Day 2 At the beginning of Day 2 Cerez will finish collecting the 50 voices if she hasn't already. Having stored so many voices inside her they will start screaming at her inside her and she'll loose control of her powers. Screaming so loudly that all the glass in a city block is shattered. This loud sound will destroy the seals holding Solezz and he'll explain that how just before the event Cerez had sealed him away in fear of the noise that would come. And then Solezz will seal Cerez away and turn the City into the "City of Ultimate Noise!!!" And will host the event for the 2nd day. Role Play Guidelines for day 2: Be LOUD the louder the better!
People who are too quiet for Solezz taste will be curse and only be able to speak in LOUD SHOUTS!
People who lost their voices before now have them back.
The city has turned from night to day. Day 3 During day 3 of the event, Solezz will get completely out of control, more or less trying to turn the party into a riot against the city. This causes Solezz to lose focus and the seals on Cerez to Weaken to where she can break free. This will trigger a fight between the two. During the fight the guests will learn that Cerez greatest attacks all relay on loud sounds. (Screams that are so loud that Solezz can't move, etc...) Meanwhile they'll also learn that Solezz's greatest strengths are all in his silent attacks, being so quiet that Cerez can't tell where he's coming from. (A sort "Aha!" Moment that reveals how much alike the two really are.) Either at the guest's encouragement, or at being tired of fighting, these two will resolve their differences. Solezz reveals that normally he has control of the city during the day (and that it's name then is "The City of Music"), while Cerez will reveal that she normally only had it at night. Solezz will say that he misses the quiet relaxing nights that allowed him to rest, and Cerez will admit that she misses all the music that used to play. From this point in the event these two will host it together, renaming the thread to "The City of Music" for the rest of the event. Now, Besides what is above, I also want to add in 2 to 3 more mules for each of the hosts to act as their servants. (They help to uphold the order of the city, the Silent city versions will be granted temporary ability to talk very softly. and the Music City versions will have a great love of music.)
So I am looking for someone to host this event as Solezz, as I'll play Cerez. And I'm looking for a few Co-hosts to play as the servants. When the event happens it'll play out over 3 days (Longer if we need it, up to a week.) and will happen in the Barton Town Forum. I'll talk to someone for Thread layouts.

Any experience on events before: Not very many events, yet I do help in planning complicated events for a bunch of sibling guilds. What ideas do you have for this mini-event: (Roleplay-wise) If you did pick me to play Solezz, I would have a sort of battle of the bands in which guests could get into teams and choose certain songs to play (youtube videos or links). It would go on until eventually so many bands were playing that the crowd started fighting with the instruments in a highly comical fashion. -sniffles- poor instrumentsI'd also like to maybe see a servant(s) of Solezz trying to take back some of the voices during Day One and get caught, or even get away with it. They'd have to be a bit weaker that day, but it would still be fun to have them cause trouble. The same thing could go for Day Two in the opposite sense. I think that for Day One, there should be an epic game of Simon Says based off Dice Rolls. This would work by having each non-Simon roll a die everytime the person playing Simon gives a command. An even number would equal successfully performing the action, and an odd number would equal losing the game. Simon would either be Cerez or one of her servants. Tektek of the Mule you'll be using: (Orange, Red, Yellow for Solezz/Music)(Blue, silver for Cerez/Silence.) Solezz, Cerez Servant. (These are using items I already own.) How often are you online: Everyday for the most part. I'd let you know if I'd be away for more than a day. I mean I can't do like a whole 3 days without anything else, but I'd be able to post a good amount. When do you think we should have it? A Friday-Sunday. Any of them would be good for me, but I think more people would be willing to post (plus it would give us more time to make the event amazing) on the 18-20.

Co-host Any experience on events before: Not with being a host or cohost, but I want to be part of the October Event coming up and Ball next year What ideas do you have for this mini-event: *I think to keep people from going nuts there should be at least some soft music playing, like some soft strings that they could sway or dance to slowly *They should all be forced to surrender anything that makes sounds. Shoes, cellphones, ipods. *Tea should be served during the quiet time, dont know just always thought of tea when I think of quietness. *When the days change I think the lighting should too, like maybe she has it nice and dim and when he comes he turns it up brighter or turns it off and puts on dance lights. The Main Climax of the second day calls for Solezz to go over board with sound and go crazy. This could be the way he does it. The idea for the Servants is that they can only be around when their master is around. (As a sort of Cerez's servants only exsist in the Silent City, while Solezz's Servants only exist in the city of Music.) Like when someone tells you not to shout, and then all of a sudden you WANT TO SHOUT LOUDER THEN EVER BEFORE! Rogue_Logan *They should all be forced to surrender anything that makes sounds. Shoes, cellphones, ipods. Good idea! Though maybe just add something saying that the sound for electronic devices don't work within the Silent City. (As for Shoes, I would find it funny if someone had loud shoes, as it would annoy Cerez to no end. xD) Rogue_Logan *Tea should be served during the quiet time, dont know just always thought of tea when I think of quietness. I thought about having the main area of the city this place in to include a small cafe. They could serve Tea! The Lighting does change. xD It's ALWAYS Night Time in the Silent City, and ALWAYS Daytime in the City of Music. (Normally when it's night time, Cerez is in-charge, and Solezz gets the Daytime. Hmm.... Interesting. Epcot Illuminations -Have some sort of battle area between solezz and cerez before cerez is sealed up. Cerez is supposely greatly weakened by her efforts to hold Solezz in the seal all that time, and from going insane. It wouldn't be much of a fight. But we could do a fight scene then. Epcot Illuminations -I think maybe at the beginning you see cerez sealing solezz up. The guests aren't suppose to know that Solezz or the City of Music even exist until Solezz fights free and gains control over the city. >.>' Perhaps we can have an "Starter Post" after the main posts. (Like I did for the Dragon's Nest during the 7th Annual Ball.) During the first day parts of the post could read "Error" Or "Missing Data" Or something, and then as things are revealed, those parts of the post detailing certain events that happened before the party began become readable. (Or a few posts, the first one being about when it was told to them that the celebration was happening, then one where Cerez seems dishearten by it, then the one where She seals him before the celebration, followed by the guests arriving. With the only readable one being that last post when the event starts.) The Sands of Time Blow.... I was hoping for more people to sign up on this before now. Dx. Oh well. The sign ups will remain open for 2 more weeks. (Until the 19th of this month.)
I'm thinking the event should take place either November 4th through 6th. Or 11th through the 13. (Both are a Friday, Saturday, Sunday timeline.)
I will be seeing if I can pull some friends, or guildmates into joining us for this event. They normally LOVE this kind of event. ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

I wish to Serve you my Lord. Username: robayn Host or Co-Host? I like to be host because it makes me feel sooooooo important, but I can survive being a co-host too wink Any experience on events before: Annualz ballz yo' What ideas do you have for this mini-event: * what if on the third day during the clash between Solezz and Cerez they kept affecting one another to an extreme and to great frustration between the two. Solezz's presence would exasperate Cerez to the point where she was screaming at Solezz, but not meaning to, and Solezz's frustration would have him speachless and slightly stuttering so that between Cerez's ranting he couldn't get a word out? This situation would escalate until whatever reconciliation scene you had planned, for whatever reason (be it servants or party goers.)* what would servants of Cerez do while Solezz has control? I say they should be forced to party even against their will, partnered up with Solezz' servants. The happy medium between partying hard and being calm and quiet could begin with the servants as they partner up and balance each other out.* for some reason I have this idea of mirrors being used to trap Solezz and Cerez instead of a magical box... or maybe a locket! There could be a locket that each wears during their time of controlling the city.* as for Solezz getting out of control, I had imagined it would be something like the louder the guests get the more bolstered he feels and so the louder he would get. It would get to the point that he couldn't contain the 'energy' inside him anymore and he loses himself to it -- which he would love, but since he can't control it it would start tearing apart the place and maybe both his servants and Cerez's servants would have to free Cerez in order to stop it* also, I picure Solezz being absolutely promiscuous P: Tektek of the Mule you'll be using: If I play Solezz, if I play a servant of Cerez if I play a servant of Solezz How often are you online: daily Best time to contact you: between 4pm and 11pm GMT Your time zone: Canada, GMT If you can't make the event, will you tell me? Since the October even is going on for a while and up to the halloween event on Gaia, I think it should go after the Halloween event on Gaia, but not too long after. Maybe even the same week the Halloween even ends so that people who are still hanging around for fun will see our thread and be interested.

But I think it's because there isn't much room for other people's ideas in this one. I like your Tektek and I'm waiting to see all the "TBE" parts of your application.
I figured the first weekend of November is a good time. That would be about 3 or 4 days after the Halloween stuff ended. ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

I was pretty happy with the tektek too! Aside from the eyes it's cheap too. I'll edit as much as I can while I babysit. I'll even ask the 2 year old for ideas xD

I wish to Serve you my Lord. Username: Spottedteddybears Host or Co-Host? Cohost. I don't think I can host this very well... XD Any experience on events before: The Annual Ball! ( 9th) Erm.... Also judging the Gaian Spring Pageant(Yes? No? Mebbe?) What ideas do you have for this mini-event: 1. Solezz loosing his voice sometime... XD 2. Cerez, in the heat of the argument, shuts Solezz in a box just to hear him scream out, breaking Cerez's beloved silence. Cerez is just that mad. 3 .In day 2, Solezz should bestow a "gift" onto all the guests, causing not only them to talk and sing (as mentioned in first post) but also to break out in dance time after time and screech random words like "MOUSE!" even Cerez's servant, who was free when Cerez is not. Tektek of the Mule you'll be using: Servant of Cerez (My fist choice, but I really dont care... biggrin ) Servant of Solezz (They are both within my limit... biggrin ) How often are you online: About 4 hours daily (average) Best time to contact you: After school... 3:30-8:30 PST (It says I'm online all the time, but I'm not...
