This is the Sign-Ups thread for the first part of the ORP of the Crimson Revolution. Sign-ups will begin now and run alongside the event -without closing, for you to enter more characters and for people arriving late to enter as long as they want to- In this RP you can enter characters you own or characters you don't own and even both. And, of course, you may join even if you're not a part of the shop. Any number of entered characters may/will be realized in the course and after the end of the event. Overall Personality: Madison has always liked helping others, and it’s her driving force that has pushed her into being a healer. She doesn’t like to bring harm to others and does her best to avoid violence. But that’s not an easy thing, and she has come to accept the world she lives in for what it is, and looks for the good in the small things to enjoy.
She doesn’t like sad things, and tends to pretend that it isn’t/hasn’t happened. With that in mind, she can have trouble communicating, or letting feelings out of hardship or sadness. And it can build up into anger.

Age: looks about 200
Appearance: Idate is a person of medium height, not too tall or short. His eyes are of a bright sky blue hue and seem as if he's always staring at... well, nothing in particular. He has a perpetually bored look on his face which rarely changes to display other emotions; namely usually when he's angered in which case he might frown if he doesn't feel like it's going to be too much of a drag. He has evenly-cut ash-blond hair that reach down to his lower back, falling in front of his face as well. Its doubtful if he even combs it at all while there are rumours going about that it might be a wig of dried-out painted blond weed.
Idate dresses in what -in another occasion- might be called one's sleepwear (almost). His usual attire consists of a hanten draped over a simple pair of pants and slippers.
Faction: Crimson Riders
Talents/Skills: Idate's skilled at slacking off, and deviously passing his duties to other people. It has developed into a sort-of art for him and his ability to do just that is to be revered. He also exhibits surreal amounts of patience -if that can be considered a skill-. That aside he is skilled in repairing broken objects (surprisingly so).
Virtues: Idate is a kind, mild-natured person with a knack for peace and quiet instead of loud, meaningless havoc. Because of that he tends to act as a medium to even out the ground when things get hectic with his friends and allies and to calm everyone down. He also appears to be rather steadfast, being of a single -often bored- mind.
Flaws: Idate is unreliable and always appears to be running late whatever it is that he is assigned to do. He often skips out on his work altogether or lets other people handle it for him instead. Idate might also become rather bothersome when he is set on taking a certain course of action that somehow gets altered in the process, unable and unwilling to follow on the newly adjusted plan.
Overall Personality: It's hard to get to know a person as Idate to begin with. The reason? Well, it's hard to get answer when the other is asleep while you are stating your question and then is either too bored or tired to answer you, not to mention it gets worse the longer you stick around instead of better. On the other hand if you do will to be a masochist and try to stand him long enough to know him better you might still find him rather bland although not as much of a jerk-a** as before since he has a heart of gold inside -if nothing. Plus he is the best listener you will ever find and he's easy-going enough to have a cup of tea with you. Yes...
Abilities: Idate excels in hand-to-hand, close-quarter combat. While one would expect him to be a relentless speedy attacker because of his natural agility and heightened reflexes he instead chooses the role of the counter-attacker, letting his enemy come at him to use his physical abilities to take them down reflecting their own moves back at them. He is particularly skilled in ending battles in the quickest possible way, although that same ability becomes a disadvantage if it drags on longer as his arsenal empties quickly and he runs out of moves to readily use to surprise the enemy.
Also Idate has the ability to run with a blinding speed but he only uses it in special situations cause he thinks it is too tiresome.
The last but not least of his abilities are his tracking ones. He can easily sense someones presence from afar. He can also, with a lot of work, see through spirit cloaking but he doesn't use that ability often cause he is never assigned do that kind of missions and when he is he passes his duties to somebody else.

Nickname: Val, Princess, demon/devil-girl
Reason for Nickname: Val is a shortening for Valerie; her full name being almost never used by anyone, including herself. Princess reflects to her status, but, as few people know, was there before she ever as much imagined leading a court. Finally she's called a demon, or devil, because of her extremely violent temper and tendency to fly off into almost unstoppable tantrums during which she fully displays her physical abilities beating down the surrounding 'innocent' population in her berserker rage.
Race: Crimson Rider

Age: Val retains a rather youthful appearance, although her actual age is a mystery. Even though often childish in her ways, her mature moments and her powers indicate that she has been around for rather long.
Appearance: Valerie is a small-formed, slightly dark skinned young woman, with bright violet-colored eyes and dark brown, always messy hair tied in a ponytail along the bandages she wears over them. She dresses in elaborately patterned clothes often featuring koi fish. Her standard attire consists of a skin-tight top, a pale-colored scarf and a pair of black stretch pants, leg-warmers and soft, light shoes. She appears to be rather fond of jewelery and various trinkets and ornaments and wears several in her hair, wrists and waist.
Faction: Crimson Riders
Talents/Skills: Valerie is quick-witted and has a sharp tongue to back herself up when needed. She also is a fast runner -only bested by a couple of people in her council- an ability she uses to run away from people she doesn't want to deal with most of the time.
Virtues: Val is extremely loyal, firm and unbending in her beliefs, making her appear cold and single-minded most of the time. She is a very hard worker and dislikes seeing people idling about without a purpose. In general she isn't arrogant nor overconfident and places great belief and her hopes in her friends and court members.
Flaws: Before anything Valerie has an extremely short fuse. She will not stand for things not going her way or people trying to oppose her or obstruct her path. Although overall gentle and caring towards the other Riders and most other people she becomes extremely bossy when they refuse to listen or act out of the predetermined plan. Once provoked she flies into a blind rage, becoming severely aggressive and violent towards everyone around her; beating and scolding everyone in her vicinity. Other than that, Val appears to be rather inflexible, often refusing to act out of a predetermined plan when the situation calls for it.
Overall Personality: Although normally appearing calm the people around her fear her temper and avoid provoking her anger. There are only a few people able to snap her out of her 'berserker' mode; people she often keeps close to make sure it doesn't happen as often. She is also rather playful and surprisingly feminine, considering how strict she is, often enjoying her time with herself, going shopping and a variety of lady-like things.
Abilities: Valerie is armed with immense physical strength and over-average agility; thing that makes her an excellent attacker. She appears to dislike making use of weapons, even rarely calling on her very own Shugen, although she displays a good knowledge on the workings of various ones in order to be able to counter them effectively even unarmed. Val fights in two distinct modes depending on whether she was previously provoked in a rage or not. In her relatively calm mode she fights in a level-headed manner, making use of her brain more than her fists and taking great pride in her footwork. While angered she takes the most direct approach overpowering her opponents with raw strength. Startling her out of her berserker mode is somewhat dangerous as it might result into a sudden lapse of concentration which can prove fatal.

Reason for Nickname: -
Race: Soul
Soulborn or not: No.
Age: Around 90 years in this earth, with the appearance of a young teenager, around 14 or 15.
Appearance: Ren is thin and lanky, resonating with all the awkwardness and uncertainty that comes with adolescence. He looks a bit stretched, his height of 5'7 being uncoordinatedly paired with a weight of only 110. His knees and elbows are knobbly and his gait gawky, but his dress is quite put-together. Ultimately, he wears traditional garb, even down to a fundoshi. His daily wear includes hakama and kimono, usually topped with a crisp haori.
His hair is black, with the majority cropped at chin-length, excluding straight-cut bangs that fall to his eyebrows and two long locks on either side of his cheeks. (Am I allowed to post a ref?)
Faction: Soul Army
Talents/Skills: His most-often used talents lie somewhat on the domestic side; such acts as preparing meals and cleaning. His fingers are long and floundering, not ideal for things such as calligraphy and sewing, but practice and strength of will have gotten him accustomed to being careful and years of experience have made him grow to be capable.
Outside of medial tasks, Ren has exceptional control over his Reiki, which somewhat makes up for his weaker constitution.
Virtues: 'Slow to anger, quick to forgive' describes Ren to a T. He's cautiously gentle, and tries his hardest to understand and help others.
Flaws: He is easily frightened and skiddish, and lets himself be manipulated and walked-on. A lack of confidence and life-experience also makes it hard for him to relate to others.
Overall Personality: A high-strung character, dominated by his own insecurities and short-comings. When interacting socially, he is much an omega, submissive and respectful. Ever a follower. Perhaps with time he will grow from this.
Abilities: Ren's strengths lie in buffs. Assisting by raising others' strengths temporarily. To do this, he must have some physical contact with the person he intends to help, and through expert control he transfers his Reiki from his own body to the other person's, resulting in something akin to an adrenaline rush. Their senses and natural strengths are heightened, as if they've been injected with steroids.
In turn, the act weakens Ren, physically and mentally. The more he exerts the power, the more it drains from him. In the most extreme cases, it sucks the pigmentation from his hair, turning it a snow white.
In the same manner, he has healing abilities. Though, they damage him more than just assistance. If someone has minor wounds and he heals them, he will experience minor pain, something akin to that the patient is feeling. But, with more serious wounds, he experiences very intense pain, bordering agony. Depending on the severity of the wounds the other is suffering from, healing them could prove even fatal to Ren. Because of such, he rarely uses this ability and tries not to tell anyone of it's existence, fearing they will ask him to heal them.
It is an extremely self-sacrificing ability that he has not the courage to use.
