Hobbies:
--Rock Climbing: Though a less frequent occurrence than his yoga hobby, Ted uses every possible opportunity to take his gear and go out into nature and climb mountain sides and rock walls. He is an average climber and enjoys mostly climbing designated walls and mountains, but hopes someday to be able to be a free climber that can tackle any mountain or wall. His moderate success with this hobby had helped build up his athletic ability and gives him a good amount of stamina and strength. He mainly climbs on the weekends and holiday breaks from school. The feeling of climbing a mountain side or large rock wall gives Ted a sense of accomplishment and he always feels very invigorated after a good climb. Climbing also allows Ted a sense of self-empowerment and confidence that he doesn't get to experience often.
--Yoga: Every morning and during the day when he gets the chance, Ted practices yoga as a form of relaxation. He practices the Hartha style which focuses on using slow and smooth movements to relax and focus a person's mind and body. He attends a yoga class at his gym every Saturday morning and sometimes on Sunday mornings. Yoga acts as a good balance to Ted's rock climbing hobby in which he pushes his body to excel in an extreme sport. The relaxation and flexibility that yoga offers allows Ted to not only be a better athlete, but also calmer and less stressed.
Virtues:
--Independent: Ted was born into a very rich family that pushed him to be able to stand on his own two feet. He was rewarded for being able to complete a task on his own, without the assistance of a parent or guardian. This treatment has led Ted to be a very independent eighteen year old. He lives on his own, cooks his own meals (well, makes his own smoothies), does his laundry, and makes sure he is ready and prepared for school. He has never been reliant on others to take care of him, except for when he a young child. This treatment also meant that he has a stronger sense of self and doesn't let his peers define who he is as a person. Though he still gets angry and upset by ugly comments, he doesn't try to change himself for others.
--Attentive: Possessing an eye for detail, Ted is very aware of his surroundings. He has a very clean apartment and all his possession are in good condition. His cloths are all neatly placed in drawers or in his closest and he keeps all his shoes shined. Ted does a decent job at organizing his school work and personal records. He doesn't let dirt, grime, or dust slide by him and works to have every detail around him be in the best possible condition. This applies to his appearance as well. Ted works hard to keep himself pristinely groomed and kept up. He dresses nice all the time and doesn't let a bad day ruin his style or appearance. His attention to detail isn't from OCD or anything serious. He just likes to have a clean environment. It doesn't bother him if something ends up derailing his tidiness, such as a big exam or urgent family matter, though he may be disgruntled later because he will have to do a good deal of cleaning.
Ted's personal life is affected by his detail oriented nature as well. He always watches others and their actions. If he thinks there is a change in the way they address him or they have a bad attitude, then he doesn't hesitate to call them out. On the positive side, if he sees that a friend is having a bad day, he will try to cheer them up or help resolve their problem. However, thanks to his selfish nature, he does focus more on himself and those he considers important. He isn't going to try to see what ever single person in the restaurant is doing or critique their appearance as they walk past him. If someone doesn't have anything to do with him, then he isn't going to seek them out and let them know how he feels. Strangers mean very little to him.
--Assertive: Never hesitating to take charge or to be the one to get things back on track, Ted knows what he wants and wants to get it done. He isn't soft-spoken or shy in a group. Just the opposite, he is usually the first to speak out and voice his opinion. He wants to solve problems and get things done. If there is something that Ted wants then he goes for it and doesn't wait around for others to take action. Ted wants to climb mountains, so he became a rock climber and works hard every chance he gets to be a better climber. He didn't wait for his friends to take an interest and hold his hand along the way. While this keeps him from being shy, his assertive nature has its downsides. He can be very cocky since he isn't afraid to take charge and lead the pack. He can be a bulldozer when he wants to get something done and doesn't let anything get in his way. While he isn't afraid to take charge, he isn't the best leader. If he wants to get something done, then he doesn't pay close enough attention to others' feelings and concerns.
In his personal life, Ted is very straightforward and upfront with people. He doesn't try to manipulate or mislead others. If he wants someone's attention or affection, then he works hard to get it himself. When he wants to date someone, then he goes right up to them and asks them out. He can be fearless and ruthless when it comes to dealing with people.
--Secure: Self-assured and independent, Ted is comfortable in his own skin. Instilled with a sense of confidence, Ted isn't looking for others to define who he is. Nor does he seek attention or validation from others. While he would love for them to compliment him and stroke his ego, he certainly doesn't rely on others to make him feel empowered or happy. He can do that just fine on his own. As a Negaverse officer, he feels that he is very capable and reliable in his duties. Though this does lend itself to his cocky flaw, he does feel a certain amount of pride in himself and the ability to generally approach a task and work to succeed. He isn't unphased by others and their remarks. He will call someone out if they try to insult or berate him, but he isn't going to change who he is as a person because of it.
Flaws:
--Selfish: Ted's needs and wants will always come before those of anyone else. He may be able to take care of himself, but he is still a rich kid who always gets what he wants. He doesn't donate to charity or give away his possessions. When he wants to get something done, he will do so at the expense of others' feelings and needs. It's all about numero uno. He may return a friend's favor by helping them out in some way, but only because he is returning a favor. Ted is driven by how something affects him. He views social relationships by gain and wouldn't have a friend that constantly takes and gave nothing in return. He isn't afraid to break ties with someone if they become too needy or dependent. The gain doesn't have to be physical and can be emotional support or aid in a goal that Ted has in mind.
--Critical: The downside to Ted's attentive nature is that he very critical of others. He is very aware when someone's appearance takes a turn for the worst or they have gained a nasty 20 pounds. He doesn't deal well with people that live in nasty or dirty homes. He also doesn't stand for those with poor attitudes. His detail orientated nature doesn't allow for him to turn a blind eye to someone's shortcomings or misgivings. He has an opinion about what is going on around him and he isn't afraid to voice it. Ted doesn't care if someone's feelings are hurt by his words even if they are crude or harsh. In his mind, they should have paid closer attention to themselves and their surroundings. Ted is also critical of himself and this is part of his drive to have a clean, stylish appearance and home. He doesn't accept anything, but greatness for himself and won't settle for less.
--Cocky: Overconfident and arrogant, Ted thinks he can do it all. All it takes for him to succeed is the desire to do so. He doesn't doubt his course of action or his motives. This is another downside to his assertive, independent nature. He doesn't believe that too many people are on his level and the general public is generally viewed negatively in his eyes. He is proud of what he does and can do. He doesn't respond well to others arguing otherwise and isn't afraid to call them out on their perceived challenge. He can be very confrontational and won't hesitate to call someone out and make his disdain known. Ted thinks he is a good leader because he can take charge (and do it well in his eyes), but because he doesn't take others opinions into account, he generally comes across as a dictator. In terms of the Negaverse, he thinks he does his job as a lt. well and will only take orders from someone above him, not someone on his level.
--Guarded: Ted is not one to show his true feelings or wish to discuss hopes, dreams, and desires to anyone. He may let a person know his disdain or acceptance of their actions and appearance, but he rarely discusses his true goals or ambitions with others. He will tell you that he is a rock climber or practitioner of yoga, mainly because he thinks it makes him sound better, but he won't tell you why he chose to start climbing mountains or why he really enjoys yoga. Sure, you may hear how he is getting better and better at his yoga routine or that he is able to climb more difficult mountains and rock walls, but never how he fell on his a** or couldn't perform a certain pose in yoga class. He will tell someone anything that is a point of pride, but never show them a sign of weakness or fault. He will become very upset if any fault or point of weakness is shown to others and act foolishly. He loses his cool and will do his best to cover up his perceived defeat. To him, showing weakness is a sign of a weak individual and not something that a well-off, pristine individual like himself should reveal to others. He only wants others to see the best and never the worst. Kind of hard to toot your own horn, when all people see is failure.

Esperite: The Mineral Esperite was named for Esper F. Larsen Jr. A petrologist at Harvard University. While the mineral usually appears a milky white or opaque color, the mineral is well known for its brilliant yellow green fluorescence under shortwave ultraviolet light. Esperite is a rare complex calcium lead zinc silicate and found to be similar to beryllonite and trimerite since all three were once known as calcium larsenite.
