There is a new company that has just opened up, it's called Japan-gap.com Heres the link www.japan-gap.com they are really good. they help you get your visa and pick you up at the airport when you arrive. They help you find a good place to live that you can afford and help set you up with things like a bank account and a cell phone. Check them out, they do loads of other stuff for you to.

Wow, well, you know some people won't have the money to afford their services, but if you have a bit of money and need some serious help with something like your visa, or a job, this is a really nice place to go. Thanks for pointing this out. How did you come acrossed this site?

Personally, I think the $820 or so it takes to do this is nothing compared to the experience it offers. I would love to do this and get a hands on feel for the country, and as soon as I can generate some income I just might give it a go
