Clearing East of Carter Hill This expansive area has been deforested entirely, but the city never expanded to take up this space. Aside from the random stumps that dot the earth, no fauna but short, wild grass grows here. Tiny shards of scrap metal and small scorched craters pockmark the clearing.

A white cargo van rolled in down the street, and took a left at the intersection...

Yves, bearing Anna and Sey, thundered into the cleared area from the northeast, the paladin glancing around warily at the deforested section.
"What a mess..."
Catching sight of the van, Anna nudged Yves to follow behind it.

A rocket flew high above the ground from the west, following the van east to the MS Building.

A rather disgruntled group of RAIF members walked along from the Seido building in the east.

They trudged along, best as they could... headed towards Carter Hill East.

The sound of an engine could be heard.
Then, the image of a black and silver motorcycle burst into the field, a figure low on it as he cursed rather colorfully under his breath.
"Dammit, I'm late. I told her I didn't have time..."

The group on foot was followed by a disgruntled black horse in armor bearing two women. They kept even pace with their walking teammates.

Stryphe was part of this group, singed and scratched, but walking strong.
"James," He said with a cautious tone, "whatever launched that missile, I can't sense it."

"Owch!" Sey said, pulling a loose piece of glass from her tunic. It pricked her slightly, and a bead of red blood was it's result.
"Oh for Falis' sake. That is not going to happen again. Anna, if I slump against you, I'm fine..."
Shutting her eyes tightly, and holding onto her medallion with her right hand, Sey inhaled deeply and felt Falis' power well within her.
"Protect us O bringer of Light, we who fight for the light."
Simultaneously, there were 7 flashes of light, MUCH brighter then the ones that had occured moments before, and Sey slumped against Anna, exhausted for the moment. She did it... Now she just needed some breathing time...Spells on the RAIF team arrow Barrier of the Saints - Deflects small projectiles (Non-magical arrows, knives, etc.) aimed at a target for a duration of 10 minutes till overpowered or broken. arrow Curtain of Light - In a spray of sparks, a Barrier forms around the target and lessens the amount of damage a target takes from magic attacks and telekinesis (Magic missiles, explosions, mind blasts etc.) for a duration of 10 minutes or until overpowered and broken. Curtain of Light can not hold up against strong magic/telekinetic attacks and is dispelled after a major hit. The Shield can deflect weak spells or the aftershock of one but unless the caster focuses her aura directly to the area of the shield that will bear the brunt of a strong magical attack, the barrier will be overpowered and broken. arrow Curse Refraction - A holy shield forms around a target, reflecting status effect causing spells/telekinetic attacks back at the caster. Curse Refraction cannot reflect area based status effect spells; only spells focused solely at the target which Curse Refraction has been cast. Curse Refraction is dispelled after a major hit from an offensive spell or telekinetic attack. Spell duration 5 minutes arrow Rune Refraction - A holy barrier forms around a target, reflecting offensive spells and telekinetic attacks back at the caster. Rune Refraction cannot reflect area based spells; only spells focused solely at the target which Rune Refraction has been cast. Rune Refraction is dispelled after a major hit from an offensive spell or telekinetic attack. Spell duration 5 minutes

Pulling his bike off to the side for a moment, Allen paused for a moment. Waiting for some sign of where the hell his team was.
The explosions the the west seemed a good place to start, and so, he began to move again, the engines roaring as he sped to the west.

Nevin fidgeted as the four-legged mech pulled into the clearing. He was trying to keep a lookout for the robots or any other mercenaries, but so far he was just succeeding in making himself nervous.
