Manabu Seido Building The Manabu Seido Building is the tallest structure in Carter City at 70 stories. Headquarters to the massive of Shylocke Industries, the MS Building may as well be the mayor's office. To say the least, most of the major decisions for Carter City over the last few decades were made within these walls. A marvel of steel, glass and concrete, the building casts a permanent shadow over the entrance, which features a small garden and a sizeable statue featuring the building's name. The inside lobby is spacious, and the floors above contain hundreds upon hundreds of abandoned offices. The elevators are out, and without power, the stairs are pitch black.

The familiar white van rolled on into the thread, pulling into the parking lot across three handicapped spaces, and not giving two shits about it, seeing as the entire place was nearly empty and totally deserted. The back doors opened again, and everyone was free to get out if they'd like to.
"Okay, people... this is where we start work. It's a big city, and this is the tallest structure in it. From the top of here, we should be able to see everything that's going on, just abouts... especially things that explode."
He pointed around, in all directions.
"I'm going up to take a look, if anyone wants to come with, then come with, I can't guarantee it will be safe up there, but I can guarantee that it will help us to find these damn bots. I'll let you know over the radio if we find something."

A single rocket followed the van from the west, flying high as it approached and then beginning an arc down towards the van.

Alber rolled up alongside the van, hearing Jame's instructions. He stayed on his bike, awaiting the word from James once he reached the top.

Anna reined Yves in as the van stopped in the parking lot. The horse danced for a few extra moments, eager for battle, before she calmed him.
Hearing James, she nodded.

"Wait." Sey said, flushed from the horseback ride and the kiss he gave her earlier. Dismounting and rushing over to him, Sey gathered near the van, making sure Alber and Anna were near her, and closed her eyes.
"Falis, please hear the pleas of your daugther. Bless me and my comrades, protect us from those that would deter our just cause."
One by one, barriers flashed into existance around each person, before fading away completely. Sey smiled and felt herself tingle with adreneline, excitement and holy power.
"That wasn't even a warm up. Though I hope I don't have to get any more spells out... It's never a good sign." She said with a sheepish smile.
"I suppose that's the best course of action James. But please be careful... That barrier is weak the farther away you are from me."

James gathered his two bags from the back of the van, and headed towards the lobby entrance to the building, casting a glance up at the imposing structure.
The sun was glinting off the windows, making a bright spot against the bluegray glass... except... the sun was on the other side.
"[This ? has been edited to a 'wtf' for clarity... since it should be a sound, and not just a punctuation.]"
There was something in the sky that was caught in the reflection of the windows-

((First dice = missile, second dice = Sey. Missile level 14, Sey level 20. Damage to all who are near the van if the missile wins, and... is anyone still in the van?))
The missile- an RPG, to be precise- came crashing down into the stationary van, a moderate explosion issuing from the impact.
[Results]
It was a weak missile, but through some sort of luck, managed to shatter Sey's shield, tossing everyone in range aside.

The whistling drew her attention, but James' exclamation made her realize the danger. Anna kicked Yves back and hauled her shield up, protecting as much of Sey as she could.

Abel just getting out of the van at the time of the explosion, was tossed clear against a nearby wall. Quite a bit of his clothing was ripped now exposing the metalic parts that saved him from broken bones.
But there was a problem. His fans and liquid system went into overdrive from the heat.
He stumbled to his feet with a billow of steam around ********>

James' had turned his head soon enough to see the thing coming, but didn't really quite make the connection fast enough to shout 'fire in the hole' or something of the sort. The van exploded... quite a loss, but at least he got his gear out of it... most of it, anyways.
The explosion tossed everyone aside, a bit. James felt a blast of hot air, as he was already near the door, and some of the windows on the lower end of the building shattered, showering the sidewalk with broken glass.
"s**t... is anyone hurt?" he shouted, looking around at the lot of them.
"...that came from the west."

Alber had no time to react, only watching as the missle came soaring down. He was thrown from his bike, skidding several feet away. His clothing helped the impact a little, and thank Falis he was wearing a helmet ((/end safety lesson)).
"I'm okay! What the devil was that?" he shouted, jumping to his feet.

Tossed! Yves screamed in pain as horse, rider and passenger were tossed. Anna didn't have time to see where Sey went as she crashed into the pavement with a clatter of steel. She only had time to roll away as her horse slammed down as well with another squeal of pain.

"I'm fine." The sarcastic smirk was gone, he was just slightly agrivated now.
Pulling a canteen out from under his coat he took a good few swigs, emptying half of it.

Sey was taken completely by surprise. She noticed Anna try and protect her but it was too late - the White Mage saw a burst of orange and red and was sent flying towards the building, landing 12 feet away from where she was originally standing.
Her barrier took the brunt of her damage, but she was scraped up on her right arm, some scrapes due to shrapnel from the van.
Standing sluggishly to her feet and shaking her head, she flashed a weak smile at her team.
"Is...is everyone o-o-o-okay? That was kinda sc-c-c-ary..." Shakily dusting off her body and realizing she had a death grip on her staff, Sey shook off her white cloak and inhaled.
"We need to find out what the hell that was. Now." Grabbing her staff and slamning it into the ground, Sey closed her eyes and began to pray to Falis to heal her.
arrow Soothe - Heals a target's light wounds (Light knife wounds, nicks, light burns and fevers, headaches, muscle soreness, etc.) by channeling a small amount of healing energy into the injured area
