The latest vampire film to be made, I can say that I'm really looking forward to it. It looks to have a lot of action, seems to have a well-written script. Plus, what could be better that Willem Dafoe kicking vampire butt? The best part of it all...this could possibly be the film that redeems the vampire image. The majority of them are evil, they drink human blood (it seems that they just might be using the anime Hellsing idea of keeping blood stored in IV bags instead of hunting down humans) and they don't sparkle in the sunlight! I found this to be a very interesting thread, although the creator is an admitted Twifan: Twilight fans SHUT UP!My only grievence with the film? Ethan Hawke's character is named Edward. *shudders*

I agree, the film looks like it's going to be really good.
Honestly, I can't see how Daybreakers could be anything like Twilight gonk .

It looks awesome! Twitards can suck it. We all know their "vampires" are wussies. These on the other hand, are only keeping humans alive for their blood. Now THAT is a TRUE vampire!

Honestly, I saw the trailer before and thought it looked like a Twifail fest. I'd rather not see it. It's just adding to the vampire craze, anyway.

Personally I expect crap. Most movies these day are, and the vampire fad has been murder at the box office for supernatural films. But Look:
Cirque Du Freak: Box Office Bomb, never saw it.
True Blood: Poor, soft-core porn for old spinsters.
Vampire Diaries: It's on Much Music. If that isn't a sign of pure craptitude or on its way, I don't know what it.

It does look good, although I can't get over the fact that it feels like it's just The Matrix with vampires and a less complex storyline.

I just wish they placed the fangs on the actual canine teeth, not the next-to-the front ones.

I hate it when they do that!! crying It's supposed to be on the canines. Anyway, the closer the fangs get to the midline, the closer it looks to buck teeth. ( this --> :B )
