Photography: An avid appreciator of beauty, of nature, and of her surroundings (except when the surroundings are people, and the people do not meet with her approval), Corinna has had a camera in her hand since she first was old enough to receive one as a gift. She stares at things often, absorbing the look of them, and assumes permission to take photos of anything she likes.

Singing: A second, rather daydreamy hobby that may give onlookers the false impression that Corinna is a gentle and whimsical soul. She sings well, but doesn't have the patience to be in Meadowview's open-enrollment choir where some singers are
terrible. At full voice she is a belter, and can produce a very large sound -- her normal vocal range is first alto.

Rearranging the Furniture: A comforting way of controlling her environment and of releasing excess energy, frequently when in the midst of brooding over something, she'll rearrange pictures on the wall and move her dressers around. Once she received a book about
feng shui. She scoffed at it, but it does look nice on her bookshelf.

Taking Vengeance on the Usurper and Reclaiming her Birthright: The only thing that competes with Dylan Rasmussen for the amount of Corinna's time it takes up.

Virtues:Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken -- Corinna has never strayed from all she believes, she's blessed with an iron will. Had she been made the partner of Eve, they'd be in Eden still. The flame of righteousness burns white-hot incandescent for Corinna; so long as she knows her course of action, she will turn herself to it unerringly. She will break clean in half before she ever bends. She does not compromise and she never negotiates with terrorists. Her spine is forged of cold iron. She would keep to her vote in jury duty till she flipped the twelve angry men or till they declared a hung jury. And say to those who blame us for the way we chose to fight, that sometimes there are battles that are more than black or white -- and she could not put down her sword when justice was her right.
Confident -- Along with the unflinching and dogged dedication to her path that Corinna demonstrates, she's also possessed with a tremendous amount of inner certainty in herself and in her choices. This level of extreme, unquestioning faith-in-self can and does cause trouble for her in terms of hindering her capacity to acknowledge and learn from mistakes, but it also contributes to a person who does not hesitate, who has a strong character and carries herself with tremendous pride.
Righteous -- Corinna loves justice. She loves the s**t out of justice. If there is justice to be carried out in the world, wrongs that need righting, she holds it a duty not to let this go unaddressed. She rarely forgives blindly.
Fair -- But when a due is paid, it's paid -- she harbors incredible, aircraft-carrier-sized grudges, and she will dry-dock them for repairs and harbor them some more for so long as she needs to, but a punishment meted out is closure, and like anything else, if she declared the punishment fair and appropriate she will hold herself to it to the best of her ability. She would rather physically torture herself than break her word once sincerely given.
First to Step on the Field, Last to Leave -- she never hesitates to lead from the front lines. She can do no less.
Flaws:No Matter How the Wind Howls, the Mountain Cannot Bow to It -- Not "will not bow to it," in fact "cannot bow to it." Corinna is not just tough, she's rigidly inflexible -- unless pressured to by someone with a strong influence over her, she cannot manage a compromise even when one is desperately needed. If discretion is the better part of valor, then Corinna got the worse part of it. However much compassion she feels towards a person (and she may, in fact!), she is grimly set on her path and nearly-incapable of softening or altering course. Overwhelming numbers intimidate her, but they don't sway her no matter how foolhardy it becomes to stay the course.
Entitlement Complex -- To accompany her otherwise larger-than-life ego and sense of self-importance, Corinna appears to go through life with a tremendous sense of entitlement. She'll straighten your tie if it's crooked without seeking permission, she'll order anything she likes at a restaurant, she'll order people around just because it doesn't occur to her not to. She feels perfectly comfortable interfering with someone else's life or business, offering her opinion to anyone who certainly never asked for it, and getting herself something to drink from your refrigerator. This is, of a word, rather nonchalantly obnoxious. She's the goddamn Batman.
Justice Above All -- Corinna is just not very nice. She empathizes with the Witch in
Into the Woods. There's a difference between being Good, being Kind, and being Right, and while she doesn't seek out opportunities to be unkind, she never turns from what she sees as Just, though Heaven or Hell should bar the way. Her justice is cold and absolute and scouring, unforgiving and unrelenting -- and if it's the things a person does which define them, then so is Corinna herself.
Manipulable -- Corinna doesn't think of herself as someone who can possibly be manipulated, and, in some ways precisely because of this, she very much is. While she's nigh-unshakable from her course once she's set upon it, for those people who know and understand her well enough to figure out her personality, and who she's moved enough to listen to,
setting that course for her can be surprisingly easy. She is a player piano that will drill through the song start to finish once begun, and it's very easy to play a player piano. On the other hand, it can be slightly more of a task to manipulate Corinna on something if Dylan has gotten there first -- it's very rare that his opinions don't take precedence with her.
Closeminded -- On the other hand, if she's written you off for some reason, she may ignore you entirely, which means she's prone to ignoring good ideas because she just didn't feel like hearing them out in the first place. She feels she has the right to pick and choose who is worthy of listening to, based on snap-judgments that are difficult to get her to reverse, and acts accordingly.
Cactus-like Insecurity -- Corinna knows you don't like her. Alright? She knows. Do you think she cares? She totally doesn't care, and do you know why, because you're a fool anyway, and she never needed you or your approval. She totally doesn't care. This is her not caring, right now. It totally doesn't bother her! She totally isn't dwelling on it endlessly! Corinna may not be popular, or likable, or personable, and she may be embarrassingly, frustratingly resistant to change or emotional vulnerability, but she doesn't
enjoy being disliked or laughed at. She hates it, and rather than let it roll easily off her back she bristles, she turns beet red is terribly abrasive and butthurt. Except from very close, long-established friends, she absolutely cannot take a joke whatsoever, and hates to be mocked. How
dare you mock her.
Physical DescriptionHair: A rich, vibrant medium indigo, parted to one side with no bangs, and tumbling in loose waves near to waist-length, tightening to closer curls at the tips.
Eyes: A luminous, pale cornflower blue, candle-lit at the center.
Face: Uncommonly pretty, but also uncommonly rosy-tinged, heart-shaped but so very often given to grim expressions and hard frowns.
Body: Standing at a Napoleonic 5'3", Corinna is not afraid to shout up into your face if that's what it takes. And that may be what it takes. She's built with a strong hourglass shape, just a bit bustier than perhaps suits her stature.
Fashion: Along with controlling her furniture, controlling her wardrobe gives Corinna a distinct sense of comfort. She likes to wear pretty things, and though she doesn't necessarily get a thrill out of shopping, she is someone who may change clothes several times a day.
