I was going to go to a drag show/musicalle, but it got canceled, so my best friend was like "LET'S GO SEE NEW MOON! Then you can have an informed hatred for it. 4laugh "
So, I figured "Eh, why not."
And, I was rather surprised. Granted, Kristen Stewart still has that stupid face she has all the time, and she bit her bottom lip more than she acted... R Patt could have done better. Taylor whats-his-name was pretty good too (he's terribly attractive. I have an attraction as it is to Native American men) Charlie seemed to have a bit more "character" to him, and the Cullen's were about the same.
THE VOLTORI?! AWESOMESAUCE. That kid from Sweeny Todd was the blonde Voltori and that alone made it worth my $7. I love him. And Dakota Fanning was worth it too, she's adorable.
Bella's friends were about the same. Mike had a bit more character though. Jessica was still a dumb b***h.
The CG was at least better than it was in Twilight, I thought. The wolves were pretty well constructed, and the stunts and stuff weren't as laughable as they were in the first movie.
Over all, while I obviously hate the series, I thought the movie did a good job sticking with the book, and that the CG/special effects was much improved.
Thoughts? smile

I saw the trailer and I thought it was pretty cool. I still hate Twilight but Dakota Fanning is awesome and I'm a sucker for half-naked tanned boys... Though I laughed at Edwards "pained face" XD He looked like he was trying to be serious while really trying to hold a sneeze back and Kirsten's acting sucks.

xd I can't have an opinion because I'm a mod? I actually joined this guild and lurked before I was a mod. Anyway.
Mitsuki: You probably won't. There were parts where I'd lean over to my friend and pull out my anti-skillz... And she was like "WILL you stop that?!"
Lexie: Agreed on all counts.
King: I would say Jessica is the shallow one. She's kinda vapid. confused I never really liked her though.

Though, it's kind of sad when the main character is the worst actor/actress.

I haven't seen New Moon yet, but it sounds less painful than Twilight. Though, reading New Moon was painful for me, literally, because one of my close friends, who is a total die-hard Twitard, was sitting next to me when I read about the Volturi and promptly started laughiing my a** off. She whacked me with her notebook and told me they were supposed to be scary, not funny.
The actor who plays Jacob is cute, I will say that, but he just doesn't do it for me- though, maybe that's cuz right now there are several j-rock boys I'm drooling over.
I wanna see it, just so I can see the Volturi on the silver screen. And I'll try not to laugh out loud but I can make no promises.

I couldn't make it through twenty minutes of the first Twilight movie on YouTube.
I don't think I'd be able to make it through New Moon. I'll just wait for some idiot fangirl to put it up on YouTube and watch it there.
