Hated Food: Cherry pie
Gift: Handling - - Yahya’s good with animals, and not in the way that every animal he comes across he MAGICALLY understands and they MAGICALLY fall in love with him. Domestic animals seem to like him, but that’s not always the case, it just stands out enough to be noticeable. Beyond that, when it comes to wildlife, he has a knack for handling them, whether they are injured our just grouchy. His work at a wildlife rescue center seems to only harvest that skill.
Virtues:
Animal Activist -- Yahya is all for saving the animals, or rather, any type of life. He’s one of those people who’ll spend hours picketing for the better treatment of animals. No animal testing! No inhumane killing methods! He also doesn’t eat meat, but that was a given.
Sweet-Natured -- Yahya is just a nice guy, always smiling, always willing to help others. Rarely does something mean-spirited leave his lips, and just as rarely does he actually get into fights. Yahya’s just your nice guy, someone you can go to comfort (not advice, because sometimes he’s not the best at that). He doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body; actually, he doesn’t even seem to have much of a backbone wither UNLESS he is in his ‘save the animals!’ mode.
Flaws:
Push-over -- In all things, he is basically someone who poses little to absolutely no threat. He’s not the kind to fight back, at least not physically. Even any verbal response isn’t that strong, as he isn’t nearly articulate when he’s flustered or upset.
Over-enthusiastic -- He can, at times, get caught up in the moment, and not just when he’s in that ‘save the animals!’ mode. He can get enthusiastic to the point of being flat-out obnoxious.

SAILOR MERLIN - SENSHI OF MAGIC TRICKS
Attack 1A
Description: "Merlin's Opening Act!"
Throwing his cape over an object, he can make said object (living or non-living) "disappear" for the duration of five seconds. Essentially anything that can fit underneath the area of his cape becomes invisible to everyone's eye sight (including Merlin's). After ten seconds have elapsed, the original item reappears at a point Merlin dictates himself anywhere up to a few yards from where the item was standing at to begin with. Solid ground has to be directly underneath the reappearance point (no object can be teleported into mid-air).
*Can only be used once per battle
Attack 1B
Description: "Merlin's Astounding Transformation!"
Again with the use of his cape, he throws it over an object, living or non. Whatever is caught underneath his cape is turned into a dove, or if the object is large enough, multiple doves (ranging from 1 to 12 depending on the size of the object that is initially being changed). This attack only lasts four seconds (of which the doves revert back to their original form) and can be used just once in battle.
Attack 2
Description:"Merlin's Spectacular Finale!"
In one final attack, Merlin summons a thick cloud of pink, purple, and blue smoke, large enough to fill a street intersection. Within this cloud, confetti, cards, lights, doves, also magically appear. The smoke is thick enough to cause some complications with breathing, and the entire attack is distracting in and of itself to everyone caught within its cloud but Merlin. From the moment his attack is summoned, it slowly begins to dissipate. The first few seconds are the most distracting, and the last are hardly a nuisance at all.

COME BAAACCCKKK
He had called Sue the moment he got home (he did not have a cell phone). As expected, Sue had not answered the first time he dialed his number, nor had he answered the second time, or the twenty-third time. At first Yahya had been resolved not to try and reach his friend, but he had caved. Even if Sue hated him, he greedily wanted them to remain friends. He wanted to be able to see Sue smile, he wanted to be able to hang out and play video games with him. Any reasonable person would realize that Sue really wanted nothing to do with them, but Yahya didn’t feel like reasonable. Hadn’t he done enough good in his life to deserve to keep the one thing he wanted most right now, his friend?
The teenager sat in his small living room, on the dingy old couch in front of the 90’s-style television. Some Spanish soap opera was on, and though Yahya couldn’t understand a word of what they were saying, he got the general gist of it. In the end, it really didn’t matter what he was watching. The people on the television were crying, and suddenly he was too. He had done everything these past few days to get Sue’s attention without outright doing it. When he went to school, he avoided his friend for dear life (he hadn’t forgotten the threat about throwing a sac full of baby squirrels into the river), but as soon as he got home he was trying to call him again. Just yesterday he had gone to the public library to use their computers. He knew his friend used Facebook (he was still on his friend’s list!), and he knew that Sue checked it regularly enough to at least see something Yahya put up…
Unless they had a blocking function, he really didn’t know. He had updated his status to ‘How is I can save lives, but not my relationships?’ He hoped Sue had seen it, because he really had no idea what to do next. It was always at the back of his mind, when he was at school, when he was working. Would Sue forgive him? Would Sue ever be able to like him? It was looking like the answer to those things was ‘no’. Yahya should just give up and accept that Sue wanted… nothing to do with him.
He wiped a few half-tears from his eyes, and bent over the edge of the couch to scoop up Columbus. The kitten was usually the victim of snuggling, but never so much as during these past few days. In the next week or two he would release the squirrels back into the wild, and yesterday he had taken the baby deer back to the rescue center. It would be just him and Columbus, which was better than being alone… and, really, he had other friends, other people he could rely on…
It felt so wrong to think that, like he was betraying the friendship he had shared with Sue. He pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind, petting Columbus gently. He was trying his hardest not to suffocate the kitten. “I think it’s just going to be you and me,” he informed the feline. At least he still had Columbus. Sue had given him the kitten, and Yahya wouldn’t forget that. Sue couldn’t have hated him, not when he had trusted him with the kitten. Yahya just had to find what it was about him back then that had made Sue like him. If he found that… maybe he would get his friend back.
