So, um where do I begin?

First, doublecheck to make sure yew have a camper. No camper, no Wawanakwa event. Sorry!

Gotcher camper? Great. Yew can RP as if your camper was there the entire time, however the first place you NEED to go is to The Ceremonial Firepit and read the first two posts from Chris McLean, your host.

From there, yew can see what team yo camper's been assigned to. A good place to jump into RP is at the team's cabin -- someone's bound to be there, and makin' alliances is a VERY good idea in this game.

Another popular choice is mah Messhall. To find out what's bein' served, lookit the menu in mah kitchen. Yew can walk there yo'self, but if ah catch anyone in there, there'll be hell to pay. >(

Or, yew prefer, yew can start up yo own PRP with someone, an ORP, or poke around in one of the other places on Wawanakwa. Yew can even chose to not RP at all, but hey -- yew might be missin' out on some mighty fine opportunities here...

How do I know what day it is?

Chris will always make an announcement in The Main Campgrounds. He'll post there, and update the second post with what's goin on, and what day it is.

Look at it this way: Day 1 may have lasted a day, but Day 2 has stretched over the course of several real-life days due largely to the fact that it was a holiday weekend. To give everyone a fair shot at challenges, as well as enough time to RP, Chris will announce when the day changes.

How do I know what time of day it is?

Ah dunno. You're RPing -- not me. If yer concerned about what sort of meal's bein' served, check out the menu in mah kitchen. Yew can RP it being breakfast, lunch, or dinner... but if other people in the messhall are RPing it bein' lunch, for the sake of preventing confusion please also RP it bein' lunch and accept whatever ah'm servin'. Yew also can't order something from Day 7's menu if it's Day 4. Otherwise people'll look at yew funny. :v

What's this about items and prompts?

Prompts are special things that happen in role-play that can uncover new areas, or grant an item to a camper. They describe the area in greater detail, or give specifics on an item that's examined. They're also completely random.

Say you're babbling to your heart's content in the confessional cam. You leave, but you notice that either mahself or Chris Mclean has posted after yew, describing something. This could range from "beneficial prompts" such as discovering an item dropped by a previous camper or staff, finding some loose change, discovering that one of yo' camper's best friends is babbling to them through some speakers... or, the prompt could be "negative" such as falling into the loo and gettin' stuck, finding you're locked inside 'til someone visits the cam, or noticing someone's written some negative graffiti.

Prompts are always directed! Meaning they're written in mind for specific camper(s). If yew see a prompt, be sure to read and re-read it to see if it's directed at yo' camper. If not, ignore it. Otherwise, you'll find a special negative prompt just for yew... twisted

Okay, what about items?

Wawanakwa is littered with things that can be manipulated, from sticks on the ground to knives in walls. Your camper CAN interact with these items and pick them up, however there are a couple rules to follow:

1) The item must be mentioned by Chris Mclean or mahself. Read the description of the area. Does it say it's a forest area? Use yer head! Of course sticks are there!

2) You must POST in the same thread that the item is in! Yes, mah kitchen IS connected to the Messhall, no, you can NOT pick up items from the Messhall while standing in mah Kitchen. The only exception is if yew happen to be Stretch Armstrong and can reach across said distances.

3) Either Chris or mahself need to acknowledge yew picking up the item! One of us can hint at it bein there, but we NEED to post again after yew pick it up to say whether or not yew picked it up. Remember, this is a reality TV show. We've got more props than yew can shake a stick at! Not everything's real.

Why are these in place? There's 48 campers and only two staff (ie, 48 campers and only Demy and Maru to manage you all @@ ). We may have cameras everywhere, but we can't keep an eye on all of yew.

We do NOT want violence on Total Drama Audio. Cartoon violence and pranks is a-okay. Stabbing someone with a knife they shouldn't have in the first place is NOT. We've already have a couple of complaints and people worried about twinking/godmodding/abuse, so we HAVE to put these rules into place.

Want an item, but aren't sure if it'd be allright? Run it by Chris or mahself. Picked up an item, but not sure if it's okay? Post here or PM and ask! We don't bite.

Speaking of voting -

Ah advise yew to keep who yew voted for a secret. At least when at the firepit ceremony -- people are still there, so if someone finds out that yew voted for them... Well, the result jus' might not be pretty.

Wawanakwa's voting is kept 100% confidential between the Chris-man (Demy) and mahself, Chef (Maru). We will NOT release information, as that can lead to out of thread drama.

Keep stuff IC, do NOT take this stuff OOC. This event is free, so there's no reason at all for anyone feeling butthurt over anything. If yew've been voted off and think that's unfair, ah'm sorry but that's jus' how camp-Democracy works. If yew want to keep playin', though... There's a thread just for you.
