"WELCOME CAMPERS TO YOUR FIRST CHALLENGE!"
Twirling his megaphone, Chris had a pretty amused look on his face as the campers long trek finally landed them on the top of the 1000 foot cliff. Prior to coming up here they had been instructed to change into bathing suits...or at least something they didn't mind getting wet, ha ha!
"Hope you're all ready for a dip..."
There was no water up here. No streams, no pools, no..not even an oddly out of place wavemachine. Just the host himself, and now the campers.
...What the?

 The more curious camper could sneak to the edge and get a look at the water below, where there seemed to be...buoys set up? But it was a smart idea to get -away- from the edge since Chris was close by and...well I wouldn't put it past him to kick anyone off the cliff.

"SO! Your challenge is to jump from this cliff..and aim for that ring of buoys below. Easy, huh? The lake is stocked with psychotic, fresh-water, Audio-eating sharks HA! That ring of buoys is the safe zone...and we're pretty sure it's shark free."
Chris glanced over the edge, wincing just a bit as one of said sharks decided now would be a good time to gnaw on one of the safe-zone buoys.
"I'll be tallying points, winner get to keep all their teammates, losers....well someone's going bye bye."
..Had he said losers? As in...oh crap, you better hope you win!
HOW TO PLAY
What's a proper summer camp of torture without a nice evil dice game to start it all off?
~You may RP out your camper going through their jump. In fact, I encourage it! Chris wants to see you guys suffer through his sick challenges >D
~During your post roll one 20 sided die. On alternative you can generate a number between 1 and 20. I really don't care which way you do it dudes, but do one or the other. This number will determine the outcome of your jump.
~-I- will be responding to each jump telling how you made out. Don't worry about going one by one :3 I'll simply mass reply if necessary.
~This is open until EVERYONE gets a chance to jump -or- it's been open an unnecessarily long time. We are not responsible for informing people to come jump, so if you see someone on your team hasn't done it yet then get their butts over here!
~On alternative, if your camper is too chicken to jump they can opt out of this challenge...but they will earn -0 points- for their team if they do so.
After your jump your camper is free to trek back to the main campgrounds and do whatever until the challenge is over. 48 campers could take a while dudes. Time would be the afternoon, as that is when the jumping challenge is taking place.

Carmen came to the front. She was ready to do this, to lead her Seagulls team with a show of example. She was mostly wearing nothing. 'Swimwear' she had heard to wear. Hers was a little hip hugger bikini bottom and a strapless top piece. Secretly, she sometimes wore this under the clothes she had been wearing at camp if she felt like having anything under them at all.
She took a deep breath and put her sunglasses in her backpack as to not lose them. She took a peek out and grimaced. How exactly was she to aim herself perfectly! Still, she stepped back a few paces and ran and took a leap off the cliff.
Halfway down she saw the sharks circling in the water and let out a scream.

"Waaaaaaaaaaat? You want us to jump from THERE? But its so high and tthe fall so long and the sharks so mean!" ..... She thought it over for a split second.
"OKAY."
Seeing as she appeared to be the second most eager in the whole camp and first most eager on the beavers to fall to her impending doom- the loudmouth little sister award winner of the year leaned over the edge to peer down at the tiny target. "Hmmm..." She stepped back a few paces before she leaped off the edge and spiraled down towards the water.
She knew not to take a breath until the last second but... she'd never tell anyone she knew that.

Swimsuit...he didn't like the sound of that...
Lighter in paw, Lucifer had made the climb along the path to the top of the cliff, that same devious smirk having never left his maw as he kept close to his allies, oh the sinister thoughts. The plan had been set.
However his expression had faded as the reached the top of the cliff, daring to step close enough to the edge to peer to the water below (though staying out of arm reach of anyone who would push him over). What the ********?! You have got to be kidding.
Jumping off the cliff itself, that was easy enough, he had no fear of heights. But into the water, WATER?! He HATED the water. Lucifer was fire, FIRE! Water and fire did NOT MIX!
Grrrrr.....
At least the pockets of his swimsuit were waterproof...

Helen looked at Chris like he was fricken crazy, which he was, but that's not the point. She gasped a little as she walked closer to the edge, trying to work up the nerves to jump. She reached as close to the edge as she was willing as she thought, no need for Chris to pull a preemptive strike. (AKA push her) She knew she would have the first ticket ot the boat of shame if she didn't jump, but drowning was her worst fear. She took a deep breath and ran offf the edge, falling into the water.
She would love to say she did a perfect jump, flying gracefully through the air and landing perfectly in the ring of buoys. However, she screamed the entire way down.

Luna laughed. She had trekked all the up the cliff and was now expected to jump off? "Pff" she said at first. Glancing over the edge, she spotted a few sharks swimming around the safe zone. "HOMAAIIGAWED! SHARKS!" she screamed loudly, seemingly scared. After a few moments of pause, her face scrunched up in a 'squeee' smile. "They are... SO CUTE! I totally want one." she said with a laugh as she backed up a few paces, hunched down like a cat, then tore off the edge of the cliff.
On the way down her eyes narrowed, her cheeks blew back from the wind, and a crazy smirk spread across her lips.
"SHHHHAAARRRRKKKKIIIEEEEESSS!!!!"

All through the journey up the cliff, Promethius wondered what was in store for them. When he found out they were 'simply' jumpingg off the cliff to a safezone in the lake below, well, he seemed a little less nervouse. Not confident by any means, but better. He seemed to take the crazyness in stride. He was sure this would be pretty normal compaired to what they would face later on.
Finally, it was his turn to jump.
He eyed the sharks. Oh man. Okay, that little bit of 'feeling better' just slipped. Oh well.

Billy nervously looked over the edge. That was LONG way down. Hopefully jumping into the water from this height wouldn't break his legs. I mean, that was a ton of g-force! And the acceleration added to that? Well... it wouldn't be pretty.
He had on his new, since this was his first time going to a camp his parents had went buy crazy for things he might need, he was wearing a pair of D&D swim trunks what looked like a score sheet was on it. It was embarrassing but he had been even more surprised that they had something like this.
Sighing, he quickly jumped off the edge and hoped no harmful damage would be done to his body. Luckily he knew how to swim though!

Lorna finally had breakfast and had trudged up to the cliff again and what a hike it was, given that the first time round it was a climb that was of her own doing, taking how long she wanted, but now, no, she had to climb again with the forboding notion of a challenge and gee she was SO looking foward to it...NOT! She listened to Chris go on about said challenge and then waited for her turn and thankfully water or heights didnt scare her, she looked over the edge and then backed back and then took a running jump and dived off the cliff, hoping she landed in the safety circle of buoys.

Ratchet watched as some of the others jumped into the water. Some screamed in fear or psychotic amusement. Some just looked plain angry. But to Ratchet, it looked... fun. Putting her backpack down and pulling a single heavy hammer out of it to clobber any sharks that came near, she did a quick bit of mental math to pick an angle to jump at and charged for the edge of the cliff, howling for the fun of it. Her jump wasn't graceful, but it got the job done.

Having survived the hike with only minimal scrapes and cuts, Zoë leaned over the edge, holding onto Alice, her newfound (and loud) friend, for support.
She'd watched sharks before, from the comfort of her own home as they were swarming unlucky beachgoers on the television. Sharks had teeth, and teeth, Zoe knew from experience, hurt.
Her eyes grew wide as she watched Alice and the others take a leap in. Well.... if they went first, then perhaps the sharks wouldn't be hungry by the time she got there?
Whimpering softly, she leaned down and checked her cuts. Blood could attract sharks, she knew, so she made sure all of her bandages were double-covered and tightly sealed. The last thing she needed was to find herself a snack thanks to her earlier mishaps.
Taking a deep breath, she looked over the edge at the others already floundering below. It was... really really high...
No. She wasn't going to do it.
Spinning around swiftly, Zoë took one step forward... only to trip and send herself off balance. Paws waving frantically as she tried to catch herself, she emitted a loud shriek as she launched herself, tumbling backwards, into the water below.

Noel made his way up the cliff in .... strangely for some reason his swim trunks were the American flag. Not something you'd expect out of Noel, but the mod didn't care. The flag was done in a sweet designer esc pop art way and it looked great on the mod.
He reached the edge, and looked down. Man that was a far way down... But if others could do it then so could he could too. . . He just wished he had his moped with him then he could drive off the cliff and make it flashy. Noel wasn't an expert diver.
The brit moved back and ran off the cliff clutching his knees and arms close to his body in a classic cannon ball sort of way.
"GERONIMO!"
Half way through the fall he remembered the sharks. DEAR GOD !

Chris stood peering over the edge of the cliff, watching the campers below. Carmen would find herself rather -far- from the ring of buoys. On a plus this put her near the shore, but it'd still be a frantic swim to get away from any ankle nipping sharks.
"And first up for the beavers, which is the best team -ever- by the way, we have Alice! Oooo...not a good jump dude!"
Alice too would find herself well outside of the safe zone, even -further- from it than Carmen. She too would be faced with a pretty frantic swim to get to the shore.
"Up for the sharks we have mister Firestarter himself. Hehheh, water and fire mixing together, kinda beautiful don't you think? You campers really need to jump better though!"
Lucifer landed in the water near where Alice had landed. Though for him it almost seemed like the sharks were pushing him to shore. Weird dude!
"Helen's next up for the sharks....good effort, but not quite enough to save you from the sharks, ha!"
Chris was laughing, -laughing-. Man this many failures in a row was just great.
The camper was 1/3rd of a way towards the buoys..not good enough for big points but it was a closer swim to shore.
"Seagulls are up now with Luna---HEY. Don't be hugging on my sharks THEY'RE IN A UNION!"
The host frowned, watching the not quite all there camper fall to the water below. ...Or at least what little bit of water she hit. -Damn- she was close to the shore. Easy swim back!
"FINALLY someone can jump! About time dudes~"
Promethius got the furthest of any camper. But it still wasn't into the buoys. Enjoy your swim back HA HA!
Chris merely shook his head as Billy jumped. Those were some -embarassing- swimtrunks man. Billy found himself in the water about where the other campers had been landing. Apparently these Audio WANTED to get eaten!
The host didn't say a word about Lorna, though one could swear he muttered under his breath something about hoping the sharks broke their contract and -actually- ate her. No such luck though. Lorna landed far from the buoys and was faced with a swim back through circling sharks.
"Hey hey hey, no clobbering the sharks either!"
Chris flailed from his perch on the cliff edge, watching to be sure HIS sharks would be okay! Ratchet landed far from the buoys, but the sharks didn't seem to have an interest in her.
