The central hub of Wawanakwa, connecting the mess hall, cabins, firepit, docks, and..yes, even the bathrooms. It is a mostly open area, used mainly for walking back and forth between the mentioned areas. Speakers tower over the area, held up by one giant pole. It is through these speakers that (the super awesome) host makes daily announcements about the challenges, weather, and occasionally the menu. Situated to one side are the three team cabins. Across form those lies the Main Lodge and bathroom area, and all around the main campground lies the forest. ICly we are:

Today is: Challenge Day!
Morning = Breakfast
Afternoon = Challenge

Ahhh, camp. The birds were chirping, the bees buzzing, and somewhere in the distance was the sound of an intern screaming as he tested something relating to bears.
Heh heh heh.
The campgrounds were quiet, the campers sleeping (or trying to sleep through the nightmares of that puppet show...) in their respective cabins. It was calm, and peaceful---
"GOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING CAMPERS! THIS IS YOUR WAKEUP CALL!"
The speakers overlooking the main campgrounds sprung to life, offering the occasional SCREECH in between the words of the host.
"Lucky for youuuuu that today is a free day! No challenges...yet. Trust me dudes they're coming."
Chris laughed. Laughed. It wasn't a very comforting sound.
"So enjoy it campers, see ya around!"
The speakers clicked off, and silence fell over the main camp area once more.
((Welcome to day 2! As this is a holiday weekend we didn't want to plan anything to go on, so use this time to RP and...what not.
Monday will be day 3 ICly, and will be the day of our first challenge.))

 Too cheery." Looking around Tiffany didn't know which way to go. There were ten different places she could head from where she stood. Looking about, she spotted the paths leading to each of the three cabins. Her eyes lingered on the Seagull cabin, wondering for a split second if she'd be allowed to visit them, but they quickly moved on to look at the forest. Possibly? Nah. The forest was crowded with trees and various woodland animals; that wouldn't be solitude at its finest. Turning toward the cliff's path, Tiffany nodded to herself and started up the steep climb to the top.

 Axl took a deep breath, so glad to be out of the smelly mess hall. Ohhh, the fresh air! It was almost enough to make him forget about his hungry tummy--almost.
Heaving a sigh, he looked around at all the buildings, and up at the speakers. He didn't see Jay around, and he didn't really see any place he'd want to go. Maybe Em would have an idea...

Em walked up behind Axl, still munching on her cereal and sighed, "It's awful nice out here, eh?" She tilted her head, "Lookin' for someone, Ax? If you see a kinda nerdy lookin' kid with a DnD hat, lemme know will ya? I met him on the first day here and haven't seen 'im since."

He looked over his shoulder at her. Ax... He kinda liked that. Grinning a bit, he sat down and shook his head.
"Naw, I haven't seen him. I've got the same problem though. Met a girl here on the first day, and she got stuck on another team." He sighed, leaning against the pool with the speakers. "It sucks. I didn't know anyone on our team."

Em sat next to him, holding her cereal, "I know you probably don't like dry cereal but ya look awful hungry," she looked at him slightly concerned, "You should really eat somethin. So, want some cereal?" she motioned the box towards him.
"Do you like her?" Em was nosy, very nosy, and liked to know details, details, and more details about everything. "I didn't know anyone either til I started talkin to you."

His face grew hot, and although he really didn't want to, he snaked his hand over for some of the cereal, stuffing it in his face, hoping he'd be less flushed by the time he finished chewing.
"Yeah.. I like her. She's really cool. I'm hoping that even though we're on different teams we can still be friends. She seemed enthusiastic to try.." He thought about the peck on the cheek, his face flushing again.
"You're pretty cool too though. So I'm glad you're on my team."

Em giggled a little and looked into the box, "Damn, almost out of cereal. Oh well," she looked over at him seeing his cheeks flushed and stifled a laugh.
"You were so adorable right there, Ax, you have no idea. But on a serious...er note, that's really neat. Getting over the boundary of different teams to still be friends," she looked off, "Hope I can fins someone like that, too."
She smiled, her cheeks flushing a little, "Well thanks, Ax, I'm glad you're on my team too."

He coughed, trying to cover his embarrassment still, even though it clearly wasn't working.
"Adorable?!" he scoffed. "Rockstars aren't adorable." Rubbing at his face, he watched her. "What about that nerdy DnD kid? You got a thing for him?" He wiggled his eyebrows.
