This weyr is shared with wingsecond R`than and brown Garith
The weyr is small, but meticulously clean, and one side in particular is perfectly in order. A comfortable sleeping couch with a thin soft looking blanket plus pillow is neatly made, two wooden chests presumably for clothes and possessions are closed and well polished. The riding gear has the soft sheen of well cared for leather, and hangs dead straight on its peg. There is a small writing desk, again well polished, with a straight-backed wooden chair before it; no papers are visible. Less regimented are the comfortable day couch and pair of wicker chairs set to look out over the Weyrbowl. Though they are not untidy, they give what could otherwise be a somewhat austere place a welcoming, friendly feel.
The other side, however, is a great deal less rigid and tidy. The bed is covered with an assortment of blankets and rugs, mostly unfinished, but it's obvious that the bed isn't slept in. Near it hangs a hammock with several blankets and pillows carelessly tossed in; obviously the rider prefers to sleep here. Next to the unoccupied bed is a long wooden box, filled with clothes and other items. A shelf cut into the rock nearby houses a variety of items, namely two or three large jugs of oil and the same number of wine bottles. Near the front of the weyr is a dragon's bed cut into the rock and covered with fine sand, with two or three empty buckets next to it. How everything is organized on this side gives the impression that the inhabitant is too busy with other things to spend as much time organizing and cleaning as his roommate, but at least attempts to keep his half of the weyr tidy.

Name: Z'ven (Zlinven) Age: 25 Turns Sex: yes please Male Orientation: Heterosexual Physical Description: He's of roughly middle height, not short but not as tall as some other male riders, probably just shy of six feet. His muscles are noticeable, but not glaringly obvious and he prefers it that way - or says he does at any rate, as he's only really gained muscle since becoming a rider. His dirty blond hair is usually in some spiky style which is sometimes rather messy, but somehow he manages to make it look good anyway, and his intelligent blue eyes are set in a handsome face, his skin fairly tanned from days spent in the Pernese sun.
While riding, he has his favorite leather outfit to keep him warm overtop a layer of thin cotton. While out and about the Weyr, however, he prefers just plain linen or cotton, depending. He doesn't take much notice in his own looks - ladies care more about a guy's personality and not what he wears, right? Right. No matter what he wears, he always wears a belt with a leather bag attacked to the side that carries a few necessities. Marks, a bit of food, and even some oil in case he missed one or two spots on Tiarenth, and a few other miscellaneous items that he could need.
Personality Likes: Tiarenth, ladies, playing cards, weaving, ladies, cheering people up, flirting, ladies Dislikes: Tiarenth, being embarrassed, dishonesty, not knowing what to do in a situation Strengths: Way with words, work ethic, weaving Weaknesses: Women, short temper, dealing with embarrassment Keywords: Savvy, charismatic, caring, passionate, focused, confident, and hard-working Detailed personality: First and foremost, Z'ven is very much a lady's man. He is a flirtatious, sagacious person and a smooth talker, always knowing what to say in any given situation. He is also a very intense, passionate person, and his two loves in life are women and being a rider with his lifemate. His charisma and way with words prevent him from coming across as obnoxious or as if he has a better-than-thou attitude, and his ability to make conversation and talk to just about anyone makes him pleasant company, and he makes friends quite easily. He is also fiercely protective and will not hesitate to give any deserving party a tongue-lashing if necessary, so anyone who says something bad about a friend of his or does something unacceptable will have an angry greenrider to deal with, and if it was Tiarenth they'd said something bad about, then they also probably have a black eye and a few missing teeth to deal with as well. Despite his short temper, Z'ven is a very friendly person (especially with the ladies ;D) and makes friends quite easily, and he makes a point to try and talk to everyone, especially those who seem a bit anti- or asocial (they don't know what they're missing!). His favorite people to talk to, however, is anyone who's having a bad day, or seems lonely or upset over something. He absolutely loves to cheer people up and can usually convince Tiareth to aid him in that, as long as it's not a girl he's trying to cheer up. He knows she doesn't like him being around other women.
Speaking of which, this is the biggest only obstacle in his sexual and personal life. He loves being with women for a while, a night or two, even a few candlemarks is fine with him, but his bonded is very dead set against him pursuing anyone at all. He's still trying to convince her to back off a bit, and in his own defense tells exasperated women that it isn't his fault his dragon can be so jealous, although it usually doesn't help. If they take it a step further and say something bad about Tiarenth, however, his short temper and passion kick in and he will not hesitate to tell them off in the most rude and insulting manner possible because no one talks about his Tiarenth like that. It usually doesn't come to that though, and he's still just as frustrated in that department as he was when she hatched. He's still trying to convince her that he doesn't really want a long relationship with any girl, and that the only girl he really needs and wants is his lifemate (she loves it when he says that but that doesn't stop her from watering down him and his current object of his affections as often as possible). She has a habit of embarrassing him in any way she possibly can, and even though he should be used to it by now, Z'ven simply cannot deal with embarrassment - his smooth way with words will fail him and he'll stumble through his sentences. He'll try to leave as quickly as possible and pretend it never happened, or if anyone saw he'll promptly give them the cold shoulder until they get the idea not to bring up whatever embarrassing incident they witnessed.
He loves talking to and knowing everyone in his wing, and tries especially hard to cheer one of them up if they're down. His total confidence in both himself and his bonded gives him great focus, but he knows that at least he wouldn't make a good leader. He'd much rather do the following, and when given an order or something to do, he'll do it to the best of his ability. He's a very task-oriented person, and once he starts something he doesn't want to stop until it's finished and finished well, because his work is a direct reflection on himself as a person. If he does a crappy job, people will think he's not up to par and that's just unacceptable. Thus he tries his best to motivate Tiarenth, knowing just what to say or do to get her going, because he knows she can do anything she sets her mind to, and frequently tells her so. Z'ven is very proud of his Tiarenth, and knows she can do great things. Anyone who says otherwise will have him to deal with.
History: Ever since birth, Zlinven knew exactly what he was going to do in life. Well, at least his parents did, anyway. They met at Southern Boll Hold, each traveling there to perfect their craft at the main Weavercraft Hall, each becoming journeymen at different times. They stayed on at the Hold and had Zlinven, their first-born, and since then assumed and told him that he would follow in their footsteps. His interest in the craft only amplified their desires for their son to become a journeyman weaver as well, even though it was only that; interest, and not a passion for it as they had. As soon as he was old enough he became an apprentice and swiftly excelled at the craft, which only made his parents that much happier, and it seemed that he would follow in their footsteps. This all changed in an instant when a rider happened upon him at the Hold, and the boy of seventeen turns was Searched, despite the fact that the rider was only at the Hold to deliver a message. Zlinven was ecstatic, not understanding why his parents didn't share in his excitement, and after a rather heated argument with them he left the following morning, accompanying the same rider to Ista Weyr.
Zlinven adapted to Candidate life very easily at the Weyr, doing all of his chores without complaint; he was rather used to being told what to do from his parents. But, he still practiced weaving, even though he wasn't too interested in progressing in the craft despite his parents' wishes, but that didn't matter anymore, did it? However, he discovered several things very quickly at the Weyer: One, girls. Two, life at the Weyr was much better than with his parents hovering over him constantly at the Hold. Three, girls.
He didn't miss his parents really, mostly due to their argument the night before he left, nor did he miss his life at the Hold. That was mostly because, he realized, he didn't have a life at the Hold. What he had was simply what his parents wanted, their dreams and wishes thrust upon him. He was always practicing his craft, working most of the day and then helping with meals and cleaning at night. That compromised his schedule of day-to-day activities, and he hadn't time for anything else. Now, with lots of free time (or a lot more than he was used to at any rate), he'd finally noticed girls. He'd seen them at the Hold, of course, but his parents would swiftly steer him back to his work to prevent him from getting distracted. Now, he'd much rather be distracted by a pretty face than work constantly. As he grew and failed to Impress at any Hatchings he stood for, he became more interested in girls and would frequently accompany them places or join them during mealtimes to flirt with a group at once, or pursue other private things. This all changed in the middle of his 19th turn on the hatching sands, when he turned from eying the group of girls to stare down into whirling reddish-orange eyes belonging to a deep, marbled green.
"Zlinvenmine! Why are you looking at those other girls? Don't pay any attention to them anymore, pay attention to your Tiarenth!"
Needless to say, his world was about to change once again. His current fascination with women suddenly had a giant green obstacle, and her name was Tiarenth. He'd hardly taken her words into account when he'd dropped to his knees and hugged her before leading her away to feed her, but he quickly found out just how against his promiscuous habits she really was. Within half a turn he'd learned to avoid any and all bodies of water, no matter how small (or large. Especially large). After another turn this became more important, and by the next turn it didn't matter much anymore, as Tiarenth had discovered the use of first buckets, and then more recently barrels, which can hold much more water than buckets can. Within the last half a turn or so, when her watery solutions don't deter her bonded as much as they used to, she turns to the female he's after and does the same, which usually gives her her desired result, leaving Z'ven very, very frustrated. In more ways than one.
Notes: - Family relations: Father, mother, younger sister (only six turns old when he left; would be 15 turns now) all at Southern Boll Hold - Although he stopped caring about his weavercraft apprenticeship, he still practices the craft and has gotten fairly good at it, and makes his own blankets and rugs when he has time. It's more of a hobby now, and he'll gladly make them for friends. - Loves playing cards. Whether he's good at them or not remains to be seen.

Physical Description Build: Lean but muscular; slightly above average height/size for greens. Skin: A combination of several shades of dark green. Eyes: Usually a content blue or green whenever she's with Z'ven, unless he's misbehaving (in her company or not), then they're of amber or red-orange hues. Distinguishing marks: A dark lightning-shaped marking over her left eye. Post color: Dark green Detailed description:
Personality Likes: Hers, being bathed/oiled, attention, teasing Hers, going swimming Dislikes: When Hers misbehaves, rudeness, when Hers doesn't pay as much attention to her as he should Strengths: Wit, intelligence, way with words, carrying buckets or barrels of water Weaknesses: Always demands Hers' attention (and prone to jealousy when he's not), not self-motivated in the least regarding physical work, doesn't trust Hers around women Keywords: Friendly, clever, passionate, absorbed Detailed personality: Tiarenth is just the girl you’re looking for! A friendly dragon, all this green wants is her rider’s absolute adoration. Other males can buzz off, she only has room for Hers in her heart. And if her rider’s not giving her the attention she thinks she deserves? Well, that’s what makes her interesting! Tiarenth will never go quietly, quiet isn’t even in this green’s vocabulary! And speaking of vocabulary, she has quite the sharp wit and an entire arsenal in the form of words. Incredibly clever, she has the ability to cut her rider down in just a few words and she’d never shy away from an opportunity. After all, Hers belongs to her!
While comfortable in the presence of any dragon, Tiarenth absolutely refuses to allow her rider near anyone they express any form of romantic or physical attraction to. She should be the center of their world, not some silly human! And when nasty comments don’t fail, Tiarenth resorts to plan B. She will purposely deflate her rider’s ego by any means necessary. She always informs the other dragons when Hers is boasting and cuts him right down and she has definitely shoved him into pools of water more times than she can count.
An exceptionally witty creature, Tiarenth is quite the fan of verbal sparring. They’re rarely angry spars, she just likes a good mental challenge, much more so than a physical one. She’s hard to motivate, though if Hers can prod her enough with witty banter, or even tease it out of her, the green is actually very on the ball. Her mental capacity takes her far when she’s actually using it for something other than arguing with Hers. She gets a little absorbed with what’s going on between herself and Hers, but once finally put on task, Tiarenth is a good dragon to have as back up. Taken from the June Wing Event thread in the guild.
