as the title says...
Hidden means no one will see us and the only way to get new members is to invite them.

I'm scared to vote. Either way is bad and good at the same time.
I'm neutral.

See, the way I see it is this: We do have a lot of members, and 99% of those members are inactive. I know that's bad for the guild but that's just how it's working out. Basically the only ones who ever post are the Crew and a few of the members. If we become a guild where we are hidden, we will have the chance to get to know our new members before inviting them into our little space on the interwebs. We will get to trust them, and not look at them as some sort of newcomer we have never seen before. Or if they are invited then that means they can be trusted, ect.
So, my vote is yes.

I completely agree with Azu. I'd rather get to know the newer members before letting anymore in. I say keep us hidden for now until (1) this whole thing either blows over and never happens again, or (2) something really does happen and we handle it how we are supposed to.

I think the guild should be hidden. It seems like it would stop a lot of drama.
Besides, inviting people is our main way of recruiting at the moment is it not?

I once again disagree with you guys. Strange no?
I'm seeing a re-occurring pattern in the members that we do invite. If one of the members is already familiar with that person then typically that recruit becomes active. However... The members that have been invited because we... "Hunted them down"... Are typically the ones that don't post. Very rarely is the time when I've been hunted down and been asked by a person if they could join.
Most people would find our guild by typing in key words like:
Furry Anthromorphic Plushie etc.
Most of the people who do that get referred to High Tail Cafe. Let's face it. We're like FurNation and they are like FurAffinity. They've got us beat... For now. If people actually take the time to find our guild and "apply", then it's because they want to be here.
Okay. So yeah we've had our troll problems. Or more appropriately. Our troll problem, but I don't really think we should shut our doors just yet.
We took care of Matt or Kurick/ whatever the hell he wants to be called pretty easily. TWICE.
Plus... I don't know about you guys but every time I see a guild that's set to private I feel like I'm not wanted.

I don't think it's really necessary that we become a hidden Guild. I don't think this recent issue is all that it's being worked up to be. Someone's just trying to screw around with our heads and turn us all on each other like starving mako sharks.
Just feels like it's a little TOO preemptive, y'know? I'm gonna agree with Khleo on this one. What don't kill us will only make us stronger.

Excellent point Khleo. Those are very good arguments that should be considered before deciding.
Now, this latest thing isn't all that's been making me think this. I've actually been thinking of booting everyone who hasn't posted since December 31st 2008 and making this a "friend's only" place. I know it's not the greatest idea, but I feel it'll cut some weight off and we don't need to ever worry about repeat flame wars. I don't like it, but if you consider how many arguments have broken out in just the last 2 months, after matthew was booted the last time...it's really discouraging. tempers are high all around because it's just that time of year where most people are feeling all kinds of stress about moving on with their lives. I get it, I really do. I was just thinking of this as a temp preemptive measure.
But if I'm not thinking clearly, then please, let cooler heads prevail. It's for that very reason Kitty and I are letting everyone decide. We're having trouble NOT bringing our baggage with us when it comes down to any kind of decision-making right now. IRL stuff is starting to get the better of us and I, personally, am about to snap under the pressure. Hence why I might not be thinking too clearly.
So, to sum it all up. I don't trust my judgment atm, and think the guild as a whole should lend its voice on this thought of mine. If the Nays have it, then good, if the yeas have it, then that's also fine by me. But I do encourage everyone to take after Azuna and Khleo's example and make a solid argument for their line of thinking. It'll REALLY help in making a final call.

Id have to agree with not closing evey one off, putting are selfs out thare will bring in more furs or others but thats how the world is.
If i had to compare this it would be to fishing your not all was going to get what you want even if you fish in the rite stream, and if its not what you wanted you thro it back(hopefully it wount come back) but thats beside the point.
AND this would have been the only gild or rp so on that hazent died on me so im preaty content hear, and i would like to see it grow into something bigger than . . . well gaia having a hand in something like that would be unforgetuble.
