This week's topic is time. The Suites Weekly Art Challenge is a weekly creative outlet for artists of all skill levels. A topic is posted every Friday and artists have an entire week to interpret that topic in whatever way they like. The Suites Weekly Art Challenge is meant to challenge participants creatively. There is no pressure. There is no one judging the outcome. It's just a chance to practice and experiment and have fun with art.I'm going to mirror the topics provided by Illustration Friday. Feel free to participate there as well!Rules 1. Post only your own work here. Do not post work done by other artists. Photos will only be accepted if they are artistic photos taken by the person posting them. No snapshots or bathroom mirror portraits!
2. Do not steal work that is posted here.
3. Do not critique work that is posted here. If the artist wants critique, he/she can make another thread asking for it.

Ah, time - that abstract idea that continues to escape me! No time = no art, unless I mysteriously gain some somewhere...

*blink blink* Oh. Everyone was having a hard time with ideas before... Now I have no idea what to do. Eh. We'll see. I should do one, cause this'll be the week of hormonal roller coaster, and I think it would help my sanity if I had some art to do. *shrug* Eh, I say. Eh.

Ifailedmywillsave *blink blink* Oh. Everyone was having a hard time with ideas before... Now I have no idea what to do. Eh. We'll see. I should do one, cause this'll be the week of hormonal roller coaster, and I think it would help my sanity if I had some art to do. *shrug* Eh, I say. Eh. You could draw something expressing your feelings about that time. XD

For years I had a voice inside me telling I “should” do this and I “should” do that, but I couldn’t overcome the possibility of being horrible to actually risk doing something about it. So I did nothing. And I loathed myself for my weakness. Finally I had a strange realization that time passes whether you’re doing something with it or not. It would be easy to let every day go by easily with no risk and then, at the end of the day (my life), I would look back and realize that fear ruled me: At that point there would be nothing I could do about it. So, I got off my butt! It wasn’t easy and I had a lot of lapses (I still do) but the experience of being ruthless with myself was an amazing lesson to learn.

XD Hopefully I won't be as late as I was for the last one.
This one involves a lot of research though.
I wish the SCA provided something more useful than clothing patterns. I don't want to make clothes. I want to draw them. D:<
