This week's topic is death. (inadvertently suggested by Maze) The Suites Weekly Art Challenge is a weekly creative outlet for artists of all skill levels. A topic is posted every Wednesday night and artists have an entire week to interpret that topic in whatever way they like. The Suites Weekly Art Challenge is meant to challenge participants creatively. There is no pressure. There is no one judging the outcome. It's just a chance to practice and experiment and have fun with art.
Topics will be chosen from your suggestions. Please feel free to post your suggestions for future topics! Keep in mind that a topic should be very general so that people can interpret it in many creative ways. No avi art or specific things please. x3Rules 1. Post only your own work here. Do not post work done by other artists.
2. Do not steal work that is posted here.
3. Do not critique work that is posted here. If the artist wants critique, he/she can make another thread asking for it.

Is original photography okay? In a class I took on Beat literature, we studied Robert Frank's book of photographs entitled The Americans. I was in a group that was assigned to take pictures in his style. I have a few that make me think of death, but I'm only going to post the two that don't have people in them, for fear of offending anyone.
This first one isn't death in a traditional sense - more of the death of creativity and freedom of expression.

Feel free to delete these if they don't fulfill the requirements or if they stretch your page. They don't stretch my page, but they are pretty big.

Since photographs aloud. It's big and I didn't want to page stretch so click here and it's not the best picture by itself, but seeing as all those names are those of the dead. The clear contracts between them and the photographer(aka me) I thought it was good for this subject.
