What you Need to Know First (IC):
- Sentinels are monogamous. If your Sentinel has a mate then he/she may only have offspring with his/her mate
- At least one mating season (three months) must pass between the dissolution of one mated pair and a fling breeding
- At least two mating seasons (six months) must pass between the dissolution of one mated pair and the forming of a new one
- Fling breedings may only occur with un-mated Sentinels
- The offspring from a previous breeding must be adults (or have been fledglings for at least one month) before the female may breed again
- Same-sex pairs cannot apply for a breeding
What You Need to Know First (OOC):
- You may only keep a total of one non-customed offspring from each Sentinel you own, no matter how many times you breed him/her*
- You may only keep one egg per breeding for yourself
- You may not keep ANY eggs from a fling breeding (unless you have customed an egg in or obtained the breeding through a bribe/pet trade/auction/special event)
- Unless it is supported by RP, a Sentinel may only have one fling breeding in his/her lifetime
- Further (HEAVY) support will be required to have more than one fling
- You may not sell or trade your eggs
- For IC purposes, in general all eggs from a fling breeding will be Minder-raised (exceptions do occur)
- Any extra eggs must be distributed in a manner that both owners and the shop admin agree with (contests, giveaways, etc.)
* To clarify, this does not mean that you can only keep one egg EVER. This means that you may only keep one egg from each individual you breed - so if you own three different Sentinels and breed them each twice, you are permitted to keep three eggs from those breedings. If, however, you only own one Sentinel and you breed it three times you can only keep one of those eggs unless you pay the custom fee to purchase/request an additional egg from that clutch.
How to Apply for a Breeding:
- Once you are ready to apply for a breeding, re-read all of the info and then post the form below in this thread
- You must post three completed RPs for each parent, along with one pair RP (as justification for the breeding)
- The linked RPs must be complete
- No one-liner posts or obviously-contrived RP
- Each breeding requires new RPs; don't try to re-use old ones. We'll notice
- When your breeding request has been approved we will roll for the amount of offspring, in this thread
- Unmated pairs will be rolled for 1-4 eggs, mated pairs for 2-5
- Once the amount of offspring has been determined, send trade for the breeding fee to the Ranger of Noctua
