For a sewer maze, the residential area is quite well maintained by the Frostschild sanitation group. Even piping runs across the walls connecting water to the evenly placed housing, while a channel runs down the center moving slow moving (if not slightly stagnating) sewage towards collection pumps. Of course the slightly smelly monotony is broken up once one hits under the Ascended way. The addition of pools, fountains, and other such extravagances have added an abundant amount of extra pipes to get in one's way.

• Follow a hole in the wall to Palace Sewers.
  

Entering into the sewers, he forgets his body's pains right now, running forward. He removes his PDA from his pocket, calling someone upon it.

"This is Chen....no, Lee Shiyu. Operation Frostchild has failed. Require exit immediately, over."

TNK! SHK!

The bullets ricochet as they miss, Chen moving right and left out of the general line of sight. Putting his PDA away, he removes his pistol into his right hand, and fires backwards at Spooky just when he hits a corner to the right. Arm extended, he fires down toward the pursuing man to hit/stop him before continuing toward the exit down the new corridor. At the time, his left hand swerves in front of him. It was hard to manifest psychic energy because he was already running on empty, and thus a headache grows.

Optimus Shou was... stumbling through the sewers, to put it mildly. All that molded and converted steel had resulted in a rather large machine skeleton, and trying to control all that through a tight passageway was a bit unwieldy.

But the avatar persisted in his manoeuvres, rushing down the tunnel as it collapsed behind him, coming out into The Rises.

The girl behind the mecha-girl smiled at the kiss, blushing, and now definitely turning away to hide her embarrassment. A mechanical sound that could have been a small giggle escaped her lips, and then the machine side took over once again, establishing a radio connection.

<<This is HoshiTe. I have received your message. Three days is too long, we're getting out of here now. I will be crowded when I come to pick you up, but I will do so. Continue relaying messages until I arrive. Out.>>

James didn't have the mask anymore... after all of that. The goggles had been pulled off and fallen around the back of the trailer, the mask had been pulled down around his neck to facilitate the neckin'.

"...why not?" was his answer.

James stood up in the trailer, using one hand against the side to steady himself he gave a real answer.

"Depends on if we have a reason to keep them. I don't have any intention of going back to report after all of this. I'm not getting paid enough."

"--uck. You are... solid, companion."

The New Knight Roxsokael trudged from one section of the sewage to the next, hoping he was in the right direction. There was no real way of assuring that all things considered.

By this time, all that had really changed was that Cloud_666 had passed out, and the armored man was now supporting his weight entirely.

Crossing tunnel after tunnel he tried not to mind the smell, but eventually even his straight line had him more lost than found, and all that could be seen was sludge, muck, and the occasional path to the surface.

Eventually, however, there was no choice. He had to go up sooner or later, and the only thing to shape his decision one way or the other was the smell.

The smell was telling him "go ahead, give it a shot" in much less supportive words.
