Temple Square Closest to The Commons and The Rises, Temple Square has become the battleground between the Homeowner's Association and the Rise Rebels. One side lobbies for funds to be diverted into park maintenance, keeping the nature trails, trimmed grass, and flower-beds perfectly pristine. The other wants to turn the park into a community haven, and their lobbying has achieved a picnic area, a playground, and a visitor information centre. Of course, thanks to the stalemate Temple Square remains your run of the mill city park.

Others are here. They maybe watch.
Arturo curses under his breath and checks his holster. Still there. Good. Under his breath, "I wonder if they are responsible..."
Looking up at thin air he thinks in its direction, watch them. Find out what they are doing here and how they are involved. who is an enemy and who is a friend. Who can help me??

Arturo turns around and looks east. "Too dangerous huh?" Looking south, "Maybe...." And west, "Hm"
"agh I don't know."

"do I leave it to chance?" Arturo shakes his head. "No, I go... there." He goes to The Commons.

The station below had been lit (assumably) the the chandelier. Even if it was dead, he'd had a whole stairwell up with the sunlight coming down on him. Regardless of what preparation he might have had though, the days light was hard on his eyes so soon after coming out of the dark tunnel.
Shielding his eyes with his available left hand, he just stuck his head above ground at first, making a funny visage as he scoped out the area. When there was nothing in site, he continued the rest of the way up, standing at the top of the stairwell.
After the inability of himself and their resident businessman to immediately notice an incoming artillery round, he'd ended up with a little hunk of steel in his leg, so this time he was pretty careful about keeping his eyes and ears peeled.
At a glance though, all he was getting was a park. An abandoned park at that.
He leaned by the rails surrounding the subway and took his leisure making a closer inspection, not just for things moving, but investigating the still things laying around for anything out of place.
"Fine mess you got yourself into this time, kid," he mumbled to himself. "You ******** up your leg because you were too slow. You lost sight of the lady you were trying to look out for because you were injured. You're looking to investigate a place filled with gun-happy freaks probably here to loot it all and giant machines of war, with next to nothing in special skills to survive it all or be useful. Half of those ruined because you can't walk right."
He glowered.
"...and the company who bombed your home has pro'lly done it again, and even if you knew a thing about it, you're not in a position to do JACK."

Sticking his rump on that same sloping handle bar he'd used to support himself on the way up, Kael sat and sighed, enjoying the piece, quiet, and solitude for just a moment more. He had enough other things on his mind that one second to try and force that and his aching leg all out wasn't bad.
He didn't have time to sit and day dream though. People might be waiting.
And then he made use of his quick escape plan, sliding a quarter of the way down into the subway again, at which point he'd stop himself with a hand and put the other to his mouth, calling down.
"Coast is clear!"
And as soon as he heard everyone else following on that, he'd pop off and scoot himself up the stairs the same way he had before.

"You weren't kidding about the all clear part." Joseph was mildly miffed when he realized they were coming up in a park, "So clear that there's no temple in sight."
It was about this time there was a streak overhead and then two crate like packages began to fall from the air on parachutes. Both crates were marked A~E, and neither was extremely large, could give someone a good bump on the head but not something that could crush a person. The chutes would eventually detach when it was considered safe, and both thumped at Joseph's feet.
"Presents, finally." He muttered as he kicked both of the crates, somehow triggering them to open.
Two disclike robots were contained within, one white and one yellow. If you want further descriptions look in Joseph's profile for Medibot and Grav-droid. It should be noted though the grav-droid had a red exclamation mark painted on it, symbolizing the macrocharge contained within. Joseph tapped on his nav-wrist to sync the robots, and they both hummed to life, floating in the air and then slightly behind Joseph after their start-up cycle.
"How about I patch up that leg a bit better?" Joseph spoke to Kael, "No magic, I swear."

Lah came walking up the stairs, expecting to be in, or below, a temple of some sort. Y'know, the whole plastering the name all over the train station and such, but as it turned out, it was a park.
Momentary pause, before he shrugged and carried on, pausing beside Joseph to look around and see what exactly was here, and coming to the conclusion that it was a fat wad of nothing. Which, as opposed to another mechanical spider with guns and rockets, was pretty good. Then the crates landed, which caused him to c**k his head to one side, with a quirked eyebrow. "What're th--"
Then they opened up, revealing the robots inside. Considering Joseph had opened them in the first place, they weren't the evil variety, so that was cool. Lahren walked over to the railing of the stairs and sat on that, not wanting to get in the way of anything. Unless said space was occupied, in which case he'd move elsewhere to lounge.

"Ah... well... ain't that the damnedest thing."
He shrugged, checking the area.
"Well, if it won't take too long I dun' see why not. I'd rather have some cover before we sit down for it though."
Because, as he gave one good look around, they were about as "out in the open" as one could be. Never mind that there was nothing but trees, bushes, and benches around to see them, if anyone headed in this general direction a couple of people standing around would be like a regular land mark.

"We just came out of the cover," Joseph thumbed towards the subway, "And we can just as easily duck back in it if the Vietnamese come and ambush us in central park. Frankly I'd rather have you back in optimal condition. Things have a bad habit of brushing off projectiles, and you're our only plan if something needs a good swording. There's a bench right there if you want to sit down on it, won't take long, and we're watching your back."
Joseph tapped his grenade launcher for effect.
If Kael complied the Medibot would fly over and go through the process of applying N4 Stitchless sealant. First an arm deployed and delivered a quick injection of pain-suppressant/adrenal solution, not only easing the procedure but likely allowing Kael to walk normally through the pain. Next a small arm cut off the remaining cloth, and a scan made sure there was no excess shrapnel. If there was more tweaser arms would remove the metal. The strange part was when a clamp-like appendage came out and pressed either side of the wound. Inside of the clamp was a sprayer that first filled the wound with the base disinfectant, and then slowy layer the active ingredient after the clamp closed the wound. Foam up a little, and wait to set.
In the end it would look like Kael had a small plastic area where the wound was, but it wouldn't be coming undone very easily.

All the while, since Kael wanted a sense of security it seemed, Lahren'd take a guard position with his crossbows out, opposite Joseph. He didn't actually expect anyone to come by and fight them, but, y'know, just in case. Never hurts to be safe, and Kael was out of commission for a few moments anyway, if he decided to just let the robot work on him.
If not, the entire series of movements wouldn't happen, and Lah'd keep lounging around.

"I hate to tell 'ya, but my plan in case of bullets flying is usually 'duck for cover and run like hell'."
He sat down, though it didn't stop him glancing every which way the whole time he got there, right up until the robot started to work. Now, for most people, you dealt with these things by not looking at the needles going into you and the work going on. It was just kind of a creepy thing. Kael was put at a level of unease watching the thing go into him and all that. But on the other hand, he found the machine entirely fascinating.
When it was done he stood up, checking out the plug on his leg, testing the appendage, and then nodded satisfaction.
"...don't have any excuse to chug more scotch now though."
He thumbed his nose and stared off, digging a toe into the soil.
"Alright. So. If we're still checking for survivors in the palace, let's not slouch about it. We'll dart in, have a look, and then find out where everybody else got to."

"Sounds like as good a plan as anything."
Lah was ready, abouts, to get gone somewhere, now that everyone was patched up. He was half-hoping Kael kept that bottle of Bourbon around, though. He hadn't had a drink for far, far too long.

Kael had left it on the steps up from the subway, so Lahren and Joseph would have passed it on their way up.
Knowing the scotch-fiend JB was, he probably had it at this point.
"Three days 'n all'a that, checking the palace, muting the radio for a bit. Check back and rendezvous in a bit."
