Appearence: Razalin is a visual stereotype of that pale librarian that got fired for hitting one too many kids in the head with a ruler for talking. Though the young woman has just barely left her teen years behind, she acts (perhaps prides herself in being) far older than she is. With age comes responsibility. With responsibility comes stress. With stress comes wrinkles, especially on her forehead when she frowns, which seems to be her default expression.
Her hair color clashes with it's style. Pink isn't exactly a very 'serious' tone, yet Razalin keeps the majority of it in a 'professional' bun. Much of it still hangs down, though, suggesting that if left unstyled it would be very, very long. Kept behind a pair of thick-rimmed black glasses, her eyes are nearly as bright, an unusual color mixed of blue and green, resulting in an awkward teal shade.
'Dress for success!' is Razalin's motto. Okay, not really, but they are words she lives by. Always seen in some sort of suit or doctors 'uniform', she hasn't worn anything else in years. Her wardrobe literally contains multiple copies of generally the same outfit. If any do differ, they differ very little. She also wears just a tad bit of lipstick just slightly darker than her hair.
Personality: Never judge a book by it's cover.
Unless it's Razalin on the stand. In that case, go right ahead. You'd probably be dead-on with your estimation. Razalin acts exactly how she looks; prim and proper, uptight, no nonsense, low tolerance, more-than-a-little-aggressive kind of lady. Some have assumed that her 'tough' ways are merely an act, a sort of wall she's built between herself and others since the incident with her young brother. This is untrue, but not completely. The impression Razalin leaves is one of the personality she naturally has. However, she isn't quite as... well, mean, as she makes herself look, and not near as certain.
In fact, Razalin is perhaps one of the most unsure people you will cross paths with, and you'll probably never even know it. It isn't herself from which her uncertain sprouted and grew. Quite the contrary, it's everyone else. It isn't that Razalin dislikes people as much as she lets on, it's just that she's not very knowledgeable on how to deal with them, more so the static, spontaneous types. When Razalin is forced to be around groups of people for whatever reason, or work together with them, she gravitates toward those who are more predictable.
But should she be stuck communicating with someone who isn't, she tends to resort to repeatedly cleaning her glasses, grunting, and repeating herself (most commonly with 'quite annoying'). Her lack of skills with other humans is not balanced on the scale by Pokemon. She's actually worse with them on a social level. Her title as 'Doctor' Razalin Tess is still well-earned. She's very talented at recognizing and tending to Pokemon injuries and illnesses. Just don't expect her to connect on any sort of personal level.
History: Razalin's past is not very detailed or very interesting in comparison to many. She was born into a wealthy family comprised entirely of doctors, all for Pokemon. Even at a young age, her parents were distressed with how distant she was. A few years later, a younger brother came along, and from then on Razalin truly cared about something. Her entire life became centered around setting her siblings life in stone. As it was expected of him to follow family tradition and become a Pokemon doctor, Razalin strived to make it happen.
Although the same was expected of her, Razalin showed no interest in Pokemon at all. When questioned about her own plans, she answered with either a shrug or, if prodded enough, the explanation she wanted only to live a normal life in her little town and she'd figure the rest out as it came. Unfortunately, the goal she did have, which was that for her brother, never happened. Razalin left her family for a span of two years, though to this day she hasn't said why, and came back to discovery her brother had joined Team Rocket.
This came as a shock. 'Teivel is too much of a loser to be a Rocket,' she claimed, yet the facts remained. Any attempt to reason with her younger brother failed, as did any attempts to verbally convince him. Same as he had given her something to care about, he gave her a goal. Monkey see, monkey do. Razalin quickly decided to strive to become a household name as a Pokemon doctor, and through showing her brother the glamour that came with it, convince him to quit Team Rocket and pursue his original dream.
Likes:
Teivel - Razalin's younger brother, who her life is basically centered around.
Lemon Tea - Razalin has had a weakness for it ever since she was younger. She drinks tons of it every day yet never gets sick of it. Offer her some and she'll actually give you the time of day. Trainers have also bribed her with it as opposed to money to pay for treating their Pokemon's injuries.
Reading - Mostly, articles involving the latest updates or information on Pokemon health. She'll also read things involving human health, biographies, and other non-fiction. She claims that fiction (addressing them as 'fairy tales') are a waste of ones time.
Evolution Stones - Though she herself has yet to discover (or even really think about) why, Razalin has a fascination with evolution stones. So much so she collects them, and they're generally the only thing on her person that doesn't involve her survival (food, etc.) or her job (meaning 'doctor supplies').
Flowers - No matter the size, shape or color, Razalin loves flowers. It's sort of guilty pleasure, and not something she openly owns up to, as she considers it a 'petty' quality to have.
Sleeping - Being a doctor she doesn't get near as much as she likes (or needs, for that matter), but Razalin has a fondness for sleep more than most. If no one needed her, she'd gladly sleep the entire day, then the night, then the next day.
Dislikes:
Arrogant Trainers - This does mean that Razalin dislikes pretty much every trainer she's ever met. She claims arrogance leads to ignorance, and ignorance leads to injured Pokemon.
Team Rocket - Like any 'good' person who respects Pokemon, Razalin dislikes the infamous Team Rocket. Her true grudge with them, however, is that in refusing to blame her brother at all for joining, she blames the organization itself entirely.
Pokemon Battles - They keep her in business, and she agrees that some Pokemon even enjoy them, yet Razalin still doesn't like or completely approve of the mere concept of them.
Headaches - No one likes them, it's true. Razalin has a stronger spite for them than most as she experiences them far more than most. At least once a day she has one, some are more severe than others. Most likely due to a number of things.

  Pokemon: Ninetales
Nickname: 'Sir' Van'Tess
Meaning: From the Family of Tess
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown (very old)
Type: Fire
Occupation: Family guardian and 'doctor assistant' Pokemon.
Appearence: Van'Tess resembles the 'default' Ninetales in every way save the orange 'socks' on all four paws. Unlike many Pokemon, he has no visible scars, as any of the ones he had from long have had fur grow over them. In the last few 100 years, he has received no new ones, since he has taken part in no combat save for fighting off robbers.
Personality: Simply being a Ninetales, and being one named something as 'proper' as 'Sir Van'Tess' is enough to give him an air of dignity. Confronted with any member of the Tess family or any issue or problem involving them, he is very 'dignified' and even wise. However, outside of that... not so much.
Van'Tess is an extremely flirty Pokemon, and his loyalty to the Tess family does not reflect his loyalty with females. Which, in the long run, tends to be absolute zero. He'll wink, strut, flirt and even nuzzle if he's sure it won't get his throat ripped out by the opposite Pokemon, but by the next day he usually forgets all about them. The exception to this is perhaps any Vulpix he runs into. Oddly enough, he never 'hits on' these Pokemon but instead treats them as adopted little sisters.
Vulpix or not, Van'Tess rarely if ever gets along with other male Pokemon. If they're as pretty as he is, or for another reason can take away attention that would be otherwise spent on him, he definately won't. Van'Tess is very much a people Pokemon who enjoys flaunting, being pet and especially being praised.
History: Sir Van'Tess started life as a stray Vulpix hundreds of years ago. A trainer attempted to capture him. It failed, yet still left the Vulpix with multiple injuries. Hurt and alone, he stumbled aimlessly for a time before collasping in the middle of a forest. When he awoke, he was in the household of a Pokemon healer named Liza Jokuo.
The Vulpix found himself increasingly attached to this woman. Generally, Liza healed Pokemon then set them free again, but when the time came the Vulpix refused to leave. Over time, the healer accepted her permanent housemate and he became a family pet. Of course, the family consisted of just the two of them. Until one day when Liza married an equally wealthy man named Jukairo Tess. The two of them had a son which they named Jukairo Tess II.
Jukairo was not exactly happy about having a Vulpix around the house near his son. In fact, he steadily convinced an unwilling Liza to force him back out into the wild. The night before his scheduled 'release' date, Vulpix saved Jukairo II from a potential kidnapping. This changed his father's opinion on Vulpix and he agreed to keep him under a few conditions.
Vulpix was evolved into Ninetales first thing the next day and given the name 'Sir Van'Tess', meaning 'from the family of Tess'. From that day on, he became a family guardian. Because of the long lifespan of Ninetales, Sir Van'Tess has and will continue to guard the Tess family for generations to come.

Likes:
Females - Van'Tess loves the ladies. No matter what the breed of Pokemon, he'll go out of his way to interact and flirt with them. The only ones barred from this rule are 'baby' Pokemon (Pichu, etc.) and Vulpix which he treats more like they were his own siblings.
Dislikes:
Males - As mentioned earlier, Van'Tess generally doesn't like male Pokemon. He doesn't really like male humans, either, unless they're part of the 'Tess' family, and even then he prefers the women.
Battling - For the safety or good of the family, Van'Tess will battle. Otherwise, he refuses to.

Nickname: Lady Kisa'Tess
Meaning: ---
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown (estimated to be fairly young)
Type: Dark / Ice
Occupation: ---
Appearence: Kisa is one of the rare 'shiny' breed of Pokemon. Because of this she varies widely in appearence in comparison to most of her breed, mostly due to being pink instead of the standard black. The gem-like objects on her forehead and chest are silver, as are her claws. Her larger ear and tail are both a light shade of yellow. A single stripe overeach of her feet and a line of numberal stripes running down one of her arms bare the same color.
She has sharp, green eyes, which glare more viciously than your average Sneasel. The battles she's taken part in prior to being captured by Razalin are high in number, yet surprisingly, she bares no visible scars from these encounters.

Teivel is Razalin's younger brother. Despite insulting and degrading him constantly any time they're within in hearing range of one another, she deeply loves her brother, and his membership with Team Rocket frustrates her more than anything else possible could. It is said her entire reason for agreeing to become a Pokemon 'healer' was to set a good example in hopes Teivel will realize his mistake and leave Team Rocket.

Sir Van'Tess
Sarka is a Flareon owned by Razalin's younger brother, Teivel. The two met and battled one another in a resturant (which in the end they also burned to the ground) under the threat Razalin would feed him 'store brand Meowth food' for the rest of his life. Though Van'Tess was winning at the beginning of the battle, in the end, Sarka came out victorious. This did not allow roots for revenge to be planted, quite the contrary. Van'Tess has developed a crush on her, and isn't quiet about it.
