-- First off, there's still a question here regarding growths.
--There's been a few people picked out of growths to be done... hopefully, quickly and efficiently, so that everyone who had posted while I was on hiatus will be done lickity split~! I'm trying to do these in order of... basically... whoever I can get done the fastest. This is not a permanent thing, though, so don't worry.
-- There's a new D-corp calendar! This will be updated by workers for when they're out of town, and so on so forth, so if you're wondering why someone's been gone check there!
-- The Registration center is up to date again... with a few "Christmas bonus"es given to some hard workers! a few teachers are on "HOLD"... since they've just been accumulating money with no work done. A PM will be sent out to these teachers...
-- In light of that, we have a new worker! Rey Equine is the front desk receptionist, and while that seems like a light job its certainly not! Rey handles the important paper work, welcomes new parents and so on so forth! Which means... we're adding a new feature to D-corp. Since we've gotten so big, its actually a little daunting to see all the information you have to read... Rey will be sending out PMs to all new owners 'welcoming" them to D-corp... these PMs will have a nice greeting message, along with links to their logs, also asking their owner information and so on so forth! He'll also be handling a lot of other general PMs, so don't be surprised if you hear from him.
-- Also the activity check is active again... and public! The Activity check can be found here... X means you've posted for that month. H means you're on hiatus. Grey means you're not-RP required... orange means they need to be rehomed. Everyone is getting a freebie for may... June has been checked, and July will not be checked until the 30th. Each month will be checked on the 30th... except that damn rebel February...
-- The logs now have "[NRP]" at the front if you're not RP required~
-- Affiliates have been updated.
-- Files have been updated!
-- Technicians are now being accepted! PM d-corp ifyou're interested, and I'll tell you what to do from there xD If you have a kid, you'll probably be automatically accepted... exceptions to this are generally if you're brand new and I'm not sure you understand everything yet. >> but not because I don't ♥ you.
-- Theres another new feature Teachers are now in their own forum... so if you're information is incomplete, please go edit it and fill it in! You can now edit it yourself without worrying about sending it to the mule, especially if you have some sort of update... just don't touch your salary xD I think that goes without saying. The teacher's post now links there too, so there's less clutter on the main page.
-- The assignments post has also been updated... Mostly just getting rid of double information, it now links to the correct forums in the guild.
-- There's still a lot to do... my focus is the old growths and SS right now, directly after that will be to get the Young Adult stage ready to "go live"~

07.18.07:: OMG YAY. I got inspired at school, during class, to update this. So as soon as I left class, I didn't even wait to go home, I started working on it at one of the computer labs. I'm still here. I've been here since 11:50. XD It's now 1:03. But I'm done. I worked my way up the posts and fixed everything I could think of. It's not all complete, but theres something.
But first: I'll be updating my journal (Arafel) to give an update on my status. So check that if you want to know what the hells going on. XD I know I would.
Second: There's a metaplot (Page 2982, or just go to the metaplot subforum.) going on. I promise I will either post by Saturday, or I will have someone take over it for me. :< It's not right that everyone has had to wait this long on me, we've got some cool stuff planned but it won't be any good if I let it die by holding off so long!
Now about the metaplot, only preteen+ are allowed in, but don't worry, there's still plenty for you to strive for as a toddler/child. XD In fact, there might be a bonus for you at the end, depending on what happens!
Small note: If anyone was confused by the message for those on the backlogged growth and being able to RP their next stage anyways, I'm sorry to have confused you. So to keep it from confusing anyone else, this is only for those who were kept since around December of 2006 on the growth list. That's a really long time to have already sent something in and then had to wait.
I'm aware some people were kept back from growing due to class issues, however many of these people who had theirs sent in also had to deal with these same issues, and so they'd already had to wait that much and then on top of it send it in and wait.
Therefore, I gave them the benefit of RPing without the art, which I'm usually against, but really that's the best I could do to make up for it.
However, if it's any consolation, I am working on methods of efficiency both in my work and in classrooms. Thus the growth slots and receptionist systems. These aren't perfect, but they're a start, and I'm still brainstorming for more. :3
Another note: I'm posting growths on the mule only now, so if you want to look back at growths you can just search the D-corp accounts posts. :3 Should be nice that way.
And one more thing: I don't think (or remember if) I've managed to migrate some of these things to the information in the guild to this page. Therefore remember to read the updates on pages

Teachers should be checking their inbox every few days. At least once a week. This relates to how long it can take for you to be fired. Which is kind of reasonable... If your boss attempts to contact you for over a week and you never respond or pay the time of day, they'll usually get kinda unhappy with you. XD This is also just a curtousy to the people waiting on the classes, and the receptionist in general who is checking practically daily to make sure all these classes get sent out and are taken care of.

-Map: No changes.
-Customs: Took two special case commissions due to the fact I'm dangerously low on money, thanks to financial aid screwing me over.
Thus: Triplets were sold to Noz/Kanth/Indu. And Raja got a reserved.

My future plans are to do one growth a week, when I get caught up and settled in with my new apartment. After(during really) growths my next goal is to complete the current metaplot (wtf. DX) I feel really bad about how long this has taken. XD and it's really just a few posts short of being complete so yeah, I have no excuse.
When that's cleared up, I'm going to be working with Nikiana on our next metaplot, which hopefully I can convince her to run so that I can just sit back and not trip everyone up. XD The next metaplot will also be coming after keivlos (and revon, depending if raja wants to have revon wait on keivlos or not) So when you see keivlos, clear your schedule. :B
This metaplot will be INTERACTIVE. Gasp. Something I haven't been able to do in the last metaplots is have an open ended story. These have all been directed by me, especially the last one, which kinda sucks the fun out of it for everyone when there's too many of them. XD
So, lots of plans, not alot of time to do them in. 8D
02.04.07:: Alrighty, time for some major updatings. XD And read it even if you're like "Hey I've read this" cause I added new stuff. >_>
First off is with the recent flood of growths, I've hired Ebony Dragon to help me color a few of them. Not permanently, but just to get through this. However, I also may hire a full time colorist. I expect you to meet the same standard as mine, or better in EDs case. XD
Once I get through all of these growths I'll be introducing a slot system, hopefully it won't jam things up too much but simply make everything more compact for me, and whenever I have a block this will help me move out of it easily by not feeling stressed out about having lots to do. XD
But remember this is after everything caught up, so keep sending in growth forms until I say otherwise.
Another IMPORTANT one is that theres a new subforum made for EVERYONE. I really would like some more attention in it, and more general posting. XD maybe some new ideas for stickies, whatever, but you can find it here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewforum.php?f=134405 and it's just for critiquing the thread, and getting critiques. Also character discussion, and a place to ask questions and help expand the FAQ. :3
All questions and comments should be placed there, unless you'd like to do so anonymously.
ALSO. Theres a new situation at hand for owner and teacher alike. O: Introducing, the receptionist! You know the people that sit at the desk and schedule appointments? Yep. You all now have one of them. XD
Owners are to now PM the mule "Teachers" whenever they want any class.
The exception to that is like the egg meeting, where it's just a system that has whoever at whatever time. Or classes that are drop in and first serve, but even then if you keep missing them you can ask to be notified via PM from the receptionist next time one opens. :3 Theres no guarantee, but they'll try.
Teachers are to PM the mule "Teachers" what their schedules are like for every month (or if that's too short, every 2 months). Nothing big, I suspect just a "I'll be out of town from X to Y" and things like "I can take maybe # of students" And if something new comes up, PM them again! A sudden "Whoops I gotta poof for X time."
Depending on this info given will show whether you get a sub or not! If both teachers are full on a workload and someone wants a class, then tada! Sub gets called, no hassle.
And also, of course, balance out teacher's loads. XD
And lastly, a hiatus notification of my own. >w> Check the status at the top.

10.31.06:: Woot! Introducing the entire thread revamp! Make sure to read EVERYTHING again, cause a few things changed.

10.28.06:: Woo. Closer to halloween! And some more info on that. First, we'll be starting the item pickup at noon, oct 31st. You stop in, ICly, and pick up your stuff. The stuff will open in the next few days.
Bags are limited to one per child, and then you go RP at the halloween party thread elsewhere. D-corp just has a minor role.
THe main metaplot peice starts at 8:30, in which you can watch and if you're there to pick up your things you'll happen to see things passing by ICly, which will all end at 11pm.
RL customs are still open, both slots for the normal customs have closed, and no, there were no pettrades this time. (Lotsa people asked. XD)

10.26.06:: Yep. It's been far too long where kids have been able to reach teen and haven't. I want D-corp to be a place where you're able to grow when you want, with some requirements that make you feel like you did have to work for it but not so much that it wasn't fun doing so. Right now, I'm positive everyones feeling like they're not going to hit teen unless they void their RP requirements. So, in order to fix that, I'm tryign to find the biggest cause of it and thus a poll! :3 So please answere best you can, and I'll work on fixing the ones people have the most trouble with.

As for the custom slots, those will be opening Wensday night. 25th. at 6pm PST. There will be two by normal gold, and one by RL money. (I need it for food.. XD) I hope it won't be so competitive that they're gone the second i open them up. XD;
Money will have no affect on this. Like say someone wants twins (2mil), and you want a normal with a gift certificate(like 500k). If you post first you will still get it.
After that, I might have another opening in November, but mostly I'm going to be focusing on the THREADAVERSARY! O: Which will be in december. Lots and lots of fun events planed! So save your money~!

XD For the next few months(just for this quarter of college, since I had to overload myself) I'll be having everyone fill out their own growth requirements. You can see the forum on growth in the guild for more information. :3
Also! Substitute teachers will be required to make a recreational class to introduce themselves. (Soccar, pottery, chemistry whatever you can think of. Just relate it to your character. XD) These will be one time classes, I suggest 5 students per class... These will simply count towards a PD and are mostly for fun adn to help me get a feel for where the teachers would work best. :3
I think thats it. X3 A quick heads up, I might be closing bribes somewhere in the furture. Perhaps a month or so... They may be raised a 100k or so when they come back due to popular demand. (They're supposed to be expensive, thus the word bribes XD) You will still be able to get cheaper ones via auction n stuff. :B
