Alright. Here's the plan, no more votes, no say in it, I don't want opinions. You CAN email the mule, however, I will likely not listen. Sorry to sound rude, or blunt... But this just needs to happen. Growths need to happen, for the whole community, for me... for everything. And this is the only possible way to get them done. I have tried everything else, and it hasn't worked. Therefore, here is your alternative:
SO. Here's how its going to go down. All growths will be put in that are over 6months old. This will be a MASSIVE rehaul. Each one will be sketched and linearted by me. Each one will be given to one of the several colorists that will be temporarily hired. After they complete one, they will be given the next.
Once ALL growths are completed, those who have grown may apply to have it colored again by me. At no offense to the colorist, this is just simply because I OWE these. I was PAID for these, it is still my job... and I'm not trying to neglect that. I fully expect to be held to it. However, you may find you like it, and that you'll be growing again soon enough... and that it'd be better to just wait. This will be your choice.
I hope this will cover the worries that I know people have about wanting it to be colored by me... and I'm fairly sure that's the only problem atm with the colorist idea.
So colorists! Apply here!
Examples: ONLY the quality of work that you will be putting into this, if its anything different I will not use it. If you need something to work with to show this, I can provide lineart.
Payment requests: What do you want as payment? Make your demands here, whatever. You may just get it!
Disclaimer: I am looking for someone who can match my style closely, so please don't be discouraged if I don't accept you. I know some of you are great artists, or at least prospering artists! And I hope you know I still love your work, no matter the level its at, however I have to be picky for the sake of those getting it. Please don't take it to heart. ♥
And lastly, are you fast? Can you color it and get it to me within the week? The next day?

Artist Applying: Jayoku Examples: X/ X/ X/ X/ X/ XPayment Requests:Veto all my kids rp requirements: Chath/Zyanya, (Saedah already is non rp required) If I end up doing a brunt of the work I may request something else.AM I FAST? I won't lie I can be fast I can be slow. Depends on the complexity of the art I am coloring. Toddlers/Kids obviously would be faster (no dragon woo) than older stages. I HIGHLY doubt I will be able to do things in a day. I do have work a boyfriend and my own shop to attend to. But I can aim for something at least once a week. <3

Examples:I do a paintery sort of style when I'm on my own, but I sincerely believe that I can mimic your style. You cell-shade with limited highlighting, but the markings can get quite complex. No blurring, etc. I do such things working on pets at a place called Wishful Thinking on their pets, but I will also show you some other things I've done to show that I can color without a template. Humanoid Examples (only lines to work with):[One] [Two]Markings Examples:Natural: [One] [Two*] [Three*] [Four] [Five] [Six] [Seven to Fifteen]Unnatural: [One] [Two] [Three*] [Four] [Five*] [Six*] [Seven*]*Has edits done by me Payment:Honestly, I'm not really worried about it. I like this shop and would like to help with the growths. So whatever you feel I should get would be fine, either gold or perhaps a free pet for doing the lot (I would color it if needed). Speed:I'm not trying to toot my own horn of anything, but I get about fifty Wishes (pets above) done in the span of a month. This week, I'm going through finals in college, and I owe a few things in WT, but I could at least get one done if you wanted to start immediately. As long as you cover inking the lines (which you said you will), I'm good. Sitting down, I could probably complete a growth between 1-3 hours, depending on the complexity. After this week, I'll have a lot more free time.

Examples: PB My coloring is more of a soft shaded style though o.o;; I could try coloring on one of you linearts if you want another sample. Payment: I guess a percentage of the gold from that pet? Speed: Depends how motivated I am >.<. It could take a day, or a week+

So far everyone looks pretty good, to me. xD I may throw up something to have everyone color for formalities just to be sure...
Though, Mocaffe. A lot of the pets have already been paid for... some of them are in the millions, some of them were like 5k. So I'd like to work out maybe a scale of gold you think would be fair? Prices going up depending on stage... Toddlers are easier to color, up to Teens and preteens which have the kid AND the dragon to color. xD So what do you think would be a good price for something like that?

@ arafel: o, ok. A scale sounds good. Hmm, I'm not sure about gaia's pricings anymore, so whatever price you feel is reasonable is ok. I'm not really worried about the prices since I just want to color stuff for a shop.

Is it alright if the application has typical coloring style and then an attempt to mimic your style?

Artist Applying: The Nozomi Examples: X My attempt at Ara's style. X Soft shaded, yes, but one of my best pieces to date. X This is mostly to demonstrate I can do pelts, spotting, all that good stuff. Maybe NSFWAlmost naughty bits? It's old but one of my favorites with various methods of shading in there. No lies, I'm used to soft shading. My cel work is limited and even then I've had to stop myself from adding a few more layers to color. The 'Ara Style' one was taken from your tutorial on DeviantArt. However, I'm willing to alter my style for this venture, whether you would like more or less detail in the work. Payment Request: Getting rid of Lian and/or Cleo's rp requirements permanently OR immediate growth slot. I don't want gold or items. ETA: Errr, I didn't mean to make it sound like I would want this for coloring one kid. Maybe then I'd ask for a class exchange for one of them or something. XD 3+ is where I'd ask for that, for one or both, depending on the amount of kiddlets. AM I FAAAAAST?Inking is usually what takes me so long. I was able to complete the picture in 'Ara' style within three hours but it has less detail than I'd like. For the younger pictures, depending on the detail required, it should take me around the same amount of time. For more details, with things pertaining to dragons, it may take longer. As long as I have a reference to work on (toddler stage, kid stage, etc), I'll be fine.

D-corp Noz - Yes that's alright :3 And does anyone have any suggestions on avg. prices now adays? I can't keep up with gaia econ. xD I would have to say it would depend on the complexity of the work. Maybe you can offer 10-20k an hour for a piece or give a flat fee. I think we can all agree the children are the easiest things to color, so they'd take less time and less gold would have to be spent. I think a lot of it would also depend on your current budget. Personally, I think a 10-50k range per piece sounds fair.
