Sailor Avignon.

Staring, wide eyed, for a moment at their prince he nodded his head slowly. He might not know him but he could feel the power the blond had. "I-I'm fine...I'll keep close." At least as close as he could, seeing as the floow was giving away under their feet. It took him time, of carefully moving about, before he was able to grab a chunk of the floor and throw it towards the wraith. It fell short though, no surprise there, but he was tyring to avoid being too close to it. He didn't care to get injured, something he'd find impossible to explain to his siblings, and so he'd been too far to hit it with his throw.

When the floor gave and they sort of floated it was a very odd feeling, and one which was too short lived, as they were soon free falling towards who knows what. Making to reach out for anyone near by, their prince, the black and purple dressed senshi was hoping to keep close in casse the falling wraith decided to manage an attack on them. With magic involved he didn't put anything past being possible.

He really just hoped they survived this, that they could all go home after this, he didn't want to die here.

"What's going on? Where are we falling?!" Why were they falling even. He was still new to the dark mirror court, and to all of this in general, so he didn't know the past some had with this sort of thing...with floors giving out and falling and the like. He was scared but perhaps not for all the same reasons as others were.

Super Itokawa.

As things progressed rather quickly he could see where this was going, or at least guess at it, it didn't seem to be going anywhere good and that scared him. He was scared enough that even as the floor was falling apart, and the wraith was rampaging, he grabbed for his fellow dark mirror sensh iand held onto him. "We need to keep together. Whatever happens." He didn't trust it and he was sure he was right in not trusting it, despite not having had past experiences like many others had. He just didn't have a good feeling about things.

With others attacking the wraith and the floor crumbling he wasn't shocked when the floor gave way. The falling had him clinging to Clue as best he could as they fell. "If we make it out of this...we aren' leaving the apartment for a week - at least." He wanted to just stay inside and spend his time with the other...that was it. He also would find a way to get a stay at home job...so he could work at home and spend time with Clue and with their home - building it into something.

He needed to survive this - they needed to survive this.
They needed to survive so they could remain together and build a good life together, a solid life together, he wanted their tiny apartment to become a home for them both. A future together with Clue. That's what he wanted and for that....they needed to live.

They'd grow old together and if the war continued they'd both make it to gaining wings like the others, he was certain of it, but they needed to live to get to that point.

Basic Bellerophon

Somehow they had managed to keep together throughout the entirety of the room and the wraith and it suddenly falling apart. And finally they were free-falling to a spiral with New hanging onto him. Of course Clue was worried, it's not as though he was absolutely sure there just wasn't an abyss below them and they could hit the ground at any moment.

He couldn't help but sigh and hug New. "I agree. Somehow we keep getting ourselves into these situations."

Super Arnica

Arnica heard someone’s voice, but whatever he thought he could make out was immediately drowned out by the sound of wind rushing past his ears. He was never going to get used to the sensation of falling, and he was never going to like it.

There was a lump in his throat and it felt like maybe his stomach had gotten permanently lodged up there.

He didn’t have the opportunity to answer that he’d heard Sadalsuud, or that he’d been able to make out another voice.

He just fell.

Staying close to her only did so much because--what was there to do? Hit the same debris together? Try to use shared momentum to maneuver between anything that could hurt them?

He could see the others that had fallen before him and just hope that there was an easy, safe way out of this--for all of them.

He didn’t know Mirrorspace. He didn’t understand it. Now, more than ever, he wanted answers--but he was going to have to live long enough to get them.

Prince Remarque

Maybe, Remarque should have been more worried. Maybe he should have thought there was any real risk of death. Maybe he should have believed that Mirrorspace was dangerous and wanted to hurt them.

And yet, he couldn’t.

He fell, wings folded close because he suspected he’d be doing himself more of a disservice by spreading them out right now. He didn’t want to wind up ricocheting off of a piece of debris, or slicing his wings up. There was no bottom to be afraid of, not right now.

But then, Remarque had done this before. Maybe not here, but it didn’t escape him that this was not the first time he’d wound up falling through Mirrorspace like this.

He’d been fine then.

He just had to believe that they'd be fine now.

Mirrorspace needed them, he thought, very loudly. He wasn’t thinking it for himself, he was thinking it for Mirrorspace. He could will whatever he wanted into existence using its power; he wasn’t oblivious to the unseen connection they shared.

If Mirrorspace let them get hurt, let them die, let them get lost--

Well. It was just ******** itself.

They gathered energy. Brought in new Dark Mirror Senshi. Worked to build up a livable space inside of it.

They were good for Mirrorspace.

And, if Mirrorspace knew what was good for it, it would make sure they had a soft landing, now.

“You’ll be fine,” Remarque said to Avignon, but reached out and tugged him a little closer, just in case.

...Still, he had faith that Mirrorspace wasn’t going to screw this one up.

The cold was seeping in, piercing through clothes and skin. The faster they fell, the colder it got.

The wraith was scurrying, trying to find something to cling to, but pieces of it were already crumbling from the pressure and impact of small debris.

Wherever they were in Mirrorspace, it was big. The emptiness stretched as far as they could see, and it looked like stars and galaxies were visible--unidentifiable, but obvious.

Something lit up above them--an explosion.

The Dark Mirror Court had no way to know that it was Archideus exploding above them, spreading a wave of purple and blue light out in every direction. It looked massive, but out of reach. The light reflected off of what appeared to be a giant mirror in the sky, showing them a piece of the universe far away and out of reach to them.

They might have only seen the explosion through the enormous sheet of mirror in the sky, but they felt it.

The burst of energy rippled across the mirror, passed through it.

Briefly, it felt like a wave of water was swallowing Hydrus up--and then, like he was passing through it slowly. And then, finally, like it was pushing him up. He was falling, but it felt like he wasn’t sinking.

Sansuna managed to latch onto the wraith, albeit briefly; it squirmed away--just in time for wings to manifest behind her. They caught the light easily and weighed next to nothing; the shards looked like mirrors, acted like mirrors. They were small, but maybe she could slow her own fall.

Acubens had a similar set of wings, large and almost like a Royal’s. Big enough to wrap around herself and Lacerta if she needed to. Maybe even big enough to carry the both of them.

Tegmine wasn’t alone; it wasn’t real, but the crystalline face of Nissa reaching out to take his wrist, to hold him, to slow him, manifested. She looked like she’d been carved from crystal, but her face was kind, for him.

Mirrorspace granted many such comforts.

For Rana, the sensation of her father’s arms wrapped around her. The shards seemed surprisingly soft, surprisingly real.

Persephone would feel two little hands squeezing at her own; Mirrorspace manifested mirror copies of her little ones, though they were obviously made from mirrorshards and little crystals.

Quetzacoatl would see the mirrored shapes of her family; they smiled, gently. They took her hand. They helped slow down her fall.

Elsa would see Chione, feel her reaching to take his hand and slow his fall. Sappho, the same, only it was Kibirev there for her. Ariadne would see Misha’s face, close, and if she paid close enough attention she might feel the peck of a kiss on her cheek.

Asuka would have a chance; a mirrored copy of herself, constructed with a thousand tiny little shards appeared before her--at first, a basic senshi. Her appearance rippled--a super. An Eternal. But still, undeniably her.

Itokawa’s wish was granted--they would survive. He could build a future. Avignon would get to go home. Sadalsuud and Lacerta’s wish to be saved--to not die here--would be granted. The Dark Mirror Court would be safe and make it out--even if the fate of the strange voice was not so obvious.

Logos might never know if it was the figure talking to them that helped them, but something did.

Tantalus would be able to go home. Tsukuyomi would get a chance at vengeance.

Remarque would not be disappointed; Mirrorspace did still need them.

Morpheus would have more time; he couldn’t see what grabbed him, but a crystalline hand did so with tenderness and care.

Kiuchi would get a blessing from Mirrorspace.

The mirror shattered above them, and the energy shot down, towards them. A million little glass shards danced in the sky, well out of reach. Above the remains of the building they’d arrived in, and growing further away as they fell, only--they stopped.

The power reached them, and it was like they were frozen in space.

For a moment, everything was beautiful.

Power flooded through them, and they had front row seats to the destruction of a comet they knew nothing about. Time stopped and nothing moved, except for the slow spread of Archideus’ energy, visible threw the shattered glass above. Distorted, but easy enough to make out.

Mirrorspace held them for a moment longer--and then, suddenly, light from the floor swallowed them up.

A large, circular mirror opened up beneath them, and then fell through--gently. Easily.

It was as if they were carried on some gentle wind, and they passed from the dark, expansive space, right into the Common Room they all might have known. One by one, the Dark Mirror Senshi were deposited, and as they passed through the mirror, they lost the blessings Mirrorspace had bestowed upon them. They landed, feet first, in a warmer, more comfortable room.

Every mirror was glowing brightly, and when the last of the Court settled on the ground, the wraith passed--only, when it did so, it shattered into a number of crystals--clear, with a milky, purple haze swirling inside. Bits of gold shimmered within the purple swirls, like stars caught in a spiraling galaxy. There was more than enough for everyone to take one.

The mirror above them closed--without any sign of the distant voice.

It wasn’t clear what made Mirrorspace abduct the Senshi, but they were free now--they could go home.

They could wonder.

Quote:
This is the last mule post for the ORP, but you can continue to RP if you want! You do not need to write an exit post; it should be assumed that if you don’t ICly leave within the next hour, you will be evicted through the mirror you were pulled through. Regardless of rank, this is the same for all Dark Mirror Senshi; even Basic Senshi can linger in Mirrorspace for a while, but they cannot leave the Common Room or enter the Throne Room without an escort.

All Dark Mirror Senshi who have written 500 words in this ORP can claim a Strange Energy Crystal; if they did not participate in this ORP but still want to earn a crystal, they can do a supplemental RP or solo to earn it. Players can also continue roleplaying until they meet wordcount if they have not already. Each character can only claim one at any point in time. These crystals can be buried on a Dark Mirror’s Realm in the Mirrorscape; a tree of the player’s design will begin to grow and will reach full maturity by mid-December. It can be based on any tree found on Earth and can be no more than thirty feet tall at full height. It may only take a few days for the tree to grow to sprout and grow a few feet, as soon as it does so, Dark Mirror Senshi may find that standing near it will leave them feeling rejuvenated. Injuries will heal quicker and their magic uses will be replenished; they will feel revitalized and as if they have a second wind.

If a Dark Mirror Senshi is not able to claim a Realm yet, they can hold onto this crystal and plant it at a later date. To grow this tree, Dark Mirror Senshi must have some mention of planting the crystal on their Realm, even if it is just a line referencing it in a roleplay other than the one where it was planted.

Super Sailor Morpheus

Morpheus had no idea what was going on it was cold as he fell and then there was a huge explosion. He wondered if the dark mirror court was history. Then he was grabbed by some sort of gentle force. He watched as the pieces of the mirror room they had been stuck in fell and then suddenly stopped. It had certainly been a day of his sphere it was hard to believe this was anything but a surreal dream. The feeling of being held by the gentle hand was gone and they were in a new room which was thank goodness warm. Morpheus didn't like being cold. He grabbed one of the crystals and looked at it curiously. "Well ok then." He said wondering what had just happened and why.

Super Sailor Hydrus

He gasped as though his head was above water, as though he'd broken the surface of the energy that surged through Mirrorspace. He was still falling but he wasn't drowning anymore. He wasn't sinking and he wasn't lost among the waves. He watched as the mirror above them shattered like a dying star. Power slammed into him, the remnants of a dying world, and battle they'd known nothing about.

For a moment, Hydrus mourned Archideus' loss, of a world that would never be again.

Warmth curled around his limbs as Mirrorspace placed him down inside the Common Room once again. The wraith broke into small crystals that littered the floor and Hydrus took one of them as it landed in front of him. Hmm, he didn't know what to do with it yet, but he slipped into his subspace pocket for later.

Then he turned and left, eager for a hot cup of tea and sleep.

Dark Mirror Loke Loke

When other senshi began to speak to him (Tegmine and Sadalsuud) he'd just... stared at them, furrowed his brow a bit. And didn't really say much back. Just, "Yeah, fine," and "Not really m' first time, but... yeah," before just... listening. Watching. Generally hating he was freaking here. The scratching, the giant a** wraith, the falling...

Yeah. The falling. And being pretty sure he might die cuz of this s**t.

Through the fight, Loke had stayed back. His magic hardly was effective unless there was another target for one to turn against, and he didn't really think he could use it to convince a wraith to just... punch itself. Thought the thought was amusing and, for a moment, tempting.

But he just stayed away. He felt in that moment, stronger than ever, that he didn't know why he was even there. People moved, people fought. And he just stayed back. He found himself wanting no part of it, finding no reason to involve himself in the melee.

When the floor collapsed, and Loke fell, he was pissed. The darkness seemed absolute, the cold seeping into his bones and all around further cementing the icy dread that burrowed into his chest. Am I really ******** dying this time? "At least give me a ******** reason I'm even Loke before you kill me off, you ******** up carnival ride!"

Because that'd been the large question all these years, hadn't it? Why was he even Loke? Why'd he get shoved through a mirror, and awaken into this s**t? He looked up, watching as something exploded, as purple and blue lights radiated out from whatever it was. More lights--stars, galaxies--bloomed beyond it. Beyond whatever they could ever hope to reach. He felt lost looking at that wide expanse.

At least let me do something with my life so my parents know they didn't ******** up...

The idea that they could morn their son's death so soon after yet another huge blow out fight about him not doing anything with his life... it choked him, send that sense of dread spiralling larger inside him. An apology he wasn't sure he'd ever be able to say burned his tongue. He could see his parents in his mind, upset one moment, but crying the next. The fact he was responsible for both ate at him. He'd much rather he'd be the reason they were smiling--

Hands seemed to catch him as he fell. Loke wasn't jarred, but startled, as two hands rested at his back, slowing the decent before keeping him from dropping further. His head turned this way and that, eyes wide as he took in the crystaline forms... of his parents? Their features were incomplete, like something he'd see in a foggy memory. But they were enough for him to recognize and register. Cobbled together from shards of mirrors and crystals, they were formations of Mirrorspace. He actually laughed a bit at this.

"...ah ********... thanks, I think," he said to the strange space around them, grateful nonetheless for the... well. Support.

He looked back up to watch the spread of energy from the explosion, feeling something pass through him, making him catch his breath. It made his pulse pick up, made his hand itch like he wanted to move, wanted to do.... something. Though what, and why? He'd no idea.

Just like that, they were returned to the Common Room Loke sometimes knew from meetings. He glanced back to see the crystal versions of his parents drop him off, their hands leaving him still with a sense of warmth as they remained on the other side of the mirror. "...thanks," he offered again, before stepping fully on his own into the room. His brow quirked to see the strange crystals left behind by the wraith, and he bent to pick one up, twisting it gently between his fingers to stare at the odd milky, purple haze within it. The gold fragments caught whatever light was around.

He thought back to that demand when he was sure he was going to die this time. A reason to even be Loke. His fist closed around the crystal, and wondered if perhaps Mirrorspace had answered that wish, too...

Delayed af so sorry about that. Loke might just head out here, but if either wanted to talk to him a little, he'll linger. Otherwise, happy to have him meet up with either at later dates in other Rp(s) :> <3
