So much to do, so little time! Please pardon the chaos, I promise there's order to it.

History! Ah, a fascinating topic that is surprisingly unreliable. Take the way the same events were spun differently by Benden Weyr, and then by Keller, then by Trine's old regime versus how they're looked at now for example. I'd be interested to see how the events of recent turns are written of at the turn of the next Interval! As for my own history....

Well, let's see.

I had a good start in life, I was born in a smallish Hold near to Benden Weyr as the only child of Antina (Senior Journeywoman Farmcrafter) and Ranganos (Senior Journeyman Woodcrafter). The fact that they were both crafters meant that they were able to provide well for me; I had extra lessons paid from the Hold's head Harper, good food, good clothes, and just about everything else a boy could want. I'm afraid to say however that early in my life this all made me more than a little spoiled an entitled! I was selfish, rather nasty really; I'd steal things, lie, whatever got me what I wanted. I'm glad to say I grew out of it eventually, probably mainly thanks to the patience of my tutor Harper Kiros. As I started to be a little bit less of an awful brat he and I became closer and when I turned ten he recommended me for Apprenticeship at Harper Hall. My parents' comfortable position in life meant that they were able to send me without worry for the cost, and I'm still grateful for that today. I certainly wouldn't be where I am today without my craft.

Me? Well that's even more fascinating than history! I jest, I jest, but if you're really interested....

It's a little awkward to describe yourself but I shall do my best to be objective!

Given name: Antigonos
Honorific: A'nos
Rank: Jr. Weyrleader / Wingrider / Journeyman Harper (Arbitrator)
Age: 39

As for my appearance.... Well I can only thank nature and my parents for blessing me with what many consider good looks. I try not to be vain, nobody likes vanity, but I am certainly happy with the way I look. I have a clean jaw line and a sort of triangular shaped face, I suppose my chin is a little pointy but not egregiously so. I'm tall enough though not markedly so at six feet even and I have fairly broad shoulders, strengthened by my work as a rider, tapering to a narrow waist. My eyes are very dark brown and black hair, well it used to be black but these days some grey is creeping in too! I like to think it makes me look distinguished. I wear my hair long these days and tie it back with a ribbon, though it goes down the back of my jacket on duty of course. My skin remains fairly pale though that's pale for a rider, I've more colour to me than I had in my youth as a Harper who never had to stay out in the midday sun. When off duty I must admit I like to dress well, and it's rather expected of me too I suppose. A scruffy Junior Weyrleader does not impress the Holder dignitaries.

Acriculeth, my dear magnificent b*****d. He is harsh, I don't deny that, but he gets things done and he loves me, don't you my dearest?... He said a rude word, naturally!

Firelizards? Well that's singular at the moment, has been for many turns! I suppose I might get another one day, I wouldn't refuse one as a gift for example, but for the moment she is quite enough for me.

Where would a man be without his friends? It's true that it's as much who you know as what you know that lets you get on well in life, but it's also true that it's who you know and care for that makes that life worth living.

Always busy, as I said! It's a lot better than being bored though! This is the sort of life I dreamed of when I was a silly little boy who thought I could be a Harper and a rider, who would have thought it could really happen?
