Weyrlings: Wing Preferences

Do you have a preference of which wing your weyrling pair end up in on graduation? Here is where to let us know!

The wing your character ends up in will depend on:

- Your OOC preference
- Your character's suitability for your preferred wing
- Your level of activity during Weyrlinghood

[b]Which wing would you like your character to get into?:[/b] (They will not be placed higher than this but may be placed lower. You can express a preference within a tier, for example 4th1 as opposed to 4th2.)
[b]Link to RPs completed during Weyrlinghood:[/b] (You must complete at least two RPs - not including the Hatching or Hatching Feast - to be considered for a combat wing, and if you count ORPs you must have participated fully in them. Second Wing may require higher activity levels depending on how many in the clutch are aiming for that, First Wing will probably require higher activity regardless.)

If you don't get into your preferred wing on graduation please don't despair! It is perfectly possible for characters to be promoted through the wings. If you are interested in this please get in touch with us and we can discuss what you would need to do to get promoted for example from 4th tier to 3rd tier. Essentially it will be some kind of mini quest that will require you to complete RPs and possibly write some solos. IC suitability will always be a factor however, for example a character who shies away from combat will never get into 2nd or 1st wing.

ICly he is holding out hopes for maybe one of the fourth wings? Peth can still provide muscle under supervision. They just couldn't fly Fall and would have to fly straight if they were working anywhere outside the weyr.

Which wing would you like your character to get into?: Honorable Discharge -- due to her blindness, she is pretty sure that she won't be able to realistically help out any of the Wings to the capacity they are looking for. Aside from that, Qyp is hoping to be taken as an apprentice of either Weavingcraft (emphasis on embroidery & tailoring) or harpering (emphasis on diplomacy/politics). Weaving is more tactile and is something that she can do with her hands to feel useful. However, politics/diplomacy might also be good as both Qyp and Catoth have a mind for such things. I leave it up to staff to determine what happens with her, though, ultimately! You guys can even decide something different aside from the two listed, if you think it's fitting enough. Feel free to surprise me. <3

Which wing would you like your character to get into?: 3rd-2. Alcine is a fairly competent archer, and Leoth has proven herself a number of times to be scrappy enough for a fighting wing. To any dissenters, Alcine argues that her dragon's lack of hearing is actually to her benefit, as she cannot be spooked or distracted by the sounds of battle.
