First off, I must say that I freaking LOVE Tim Burton. His movies are unique, stylish, quirky and lovable. That being said I really have a hard time seeing Burton in the director's (or even Producer's) chair for Breaking Wind. His movies aren't really about love but about outcasts in society like Batman, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice. Bella and Edward's twu wuv is something I can't really picture Burton making interesting.

That being said he DID make a biopic of the worst director who ever lived (Michael Bay Ed Wood) and that movie turned out to be my favorite of his after Nightmare before Christmas. So him making a movie about a book by the worst writer who ever lived is an interesting thought.

As for his goffik following, I saw Nightmare before Christmas when I was 5 and I loved it. I didn't think it was gothic at all and the movie is still a valued part of my childhood.

Plus he was the first person to make Batman look awesome on screen and Batman (the movie) is (In my opinion) the best Batman film ever made.

Quick notes...

Could have sworn he had SOMETHING to do with Coraline. Apologize if I am mistaken.

Two: Meant for this to be an ammusing light hearted comment. Nothing more.

I believe he filmed the one which had the Penguin as one of the main villains, did he not?

He seriously loses ALL merit if he chooses to go this path. I'll refer to anything he did before that as "his right mind" and nothing after will prove worthy of my attention.

Fortunately, Batman Returns was in his profile. UNfortunately, he also did Batman Forever.

I agree with that King; all of them are so related to Hot Topic now, it's rather sad. TNBC isn't even scary, and yet all these teens are calling it 'gawth' and such. The movie is mediocre at best.

Don't ya love how you realize some things that you liked as a kid suck now...?

The Telletubbies are still bad-a**...

GAWTH? More like GOFF, amirite? Tara Gilesbie-ize it.

I love me some TB and honestly, I'd actually like to see what he could do with that ******** to at least make it visually interesting.

As for Todd, I enjoyed it but I definitely agree that it's not the best musical. I'd have to give that to Phantom of the Opera.

Also, whenever I think about what the BD birthing scene could possibly look like, I picture the dog kennel scene from John Carpenter's The Thing (1986?).
Bonus points to whoever gets my reference.

He filmed the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as The Joker. And he also did the second Batman movie with Michelle Phiefer as Catwoman.

That scene freaked me out so badly when I was little, but damn it looked good!
