Okay, first off, this is a mixed reaction one. http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1626569/story.jhtmlhttp://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00028980.htmlMy initial reaction is: Noooo Tim! Don't turn to the dark side. Then I think about it. I like his movies because they're odd, usually something I wouldn't show to under 14 year olds. Coraline, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, 9, Sweeney Todd....they're all pretty good, but how young a kid dare you let watch Santa nearly get dropped in a vat of acid? One must face if burton is near a movie, it will have bits of creepy. Now... as for Breaking Dawn... Spoiler ALERT! I guess I should put this here...
Bella wakes up from her first time having sex with Edward banged up and bruised and no memory of it.
Bella mysteriously becomes pregnant with impossible vampire spawn (just after she's considering remaining human for a time)
Extremely short term pregnancy nearly kills her. Must drink blood during term to survive.
Labor is extremely messy, bloody, and after Nessie is born she bites Bella, who proceeds to DIE. Must be brought back.
16 year old boy falls instantly in love with miracle baby. When she is 7 years old she will be fully grown. ***** romance.
Spoilers endThis is just twisted enough I could see Burton doing it. Now why the Twitards aren't more alarmed surprised me.

I watched and loved Nightmare Before Christmas when I was ten. x3 I knew it was acid, but it never bothered me. The bug in the acid was another matter.
As much his alley it may be, Twilight is not deserving of his talent. He is unique and brilliant, unlike that shitpile. I wouldn't watch it even if he did do it. He should be working on real classics. <3 Oh, ew. Wouldn't it be horrible if he made that movie memorable instead of just leaving it die like the fad it is?
Forgot all about 9. Didn't he do Sleepy Hollow, too?

9 was amazing. I would laugh so hard if Burton refused and was like "No I don't make shitty movies". Ω

Quiero lamerte hasta que te vengas en mi boca mil vecesBurton doesn't need this. He's famous without Twatlight. And he's doing fine all on his own. Let him do his own thing. Don't get him involved in something so shittacular that it jizzes sparkles.

When Trussardi gets angry, Mr. Bibbles gets upset. And when Mr. Bibbles gets upset... people DIE!Burton doesn't need Twilight. He also tends to work with the same talent a lot, so I don't think they would even ask him in the first place as it's not like they're using any of people he wants to work with. Also when you consider how creepy Johnny Depp was in Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory -- that alone should really scare the Twilight people off because he wouldn't shrink away from Twilight into the blatant freak fest that it is.

Well now... He really shouldn't do it. Yes it would make him more money, but it would ruin his reputation horribly.
Also... Am I the only one who hates Sweeney Todd...?

Demoness Crystallia Well now... He really shouldn't do it. Yes it would make him more money, but it would ruin his reputation horribly. Also... Am I the only one who hates Sweeney Todd...? I actually don't see what's so great about it. I don't hate it, but I don't think it's the greatest musical either.

I just don't see why Burton has to cast Helena Boham Carter and Johnny Depp in all of his recent movies (The Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeny Todd, Alice in Wonderland). Seriously, just because you're dating the woman and have a child (or children) with her doesn't mean you have to cast her in all of your movies! It's the same logic that Rob Zombie is using. Sheri Moon Zombie is cast as the hot chick in almost all of his movies. It's not like he's casting her because she's a good actress. I admit that is the one thing Helena has over Sheri, but I'm getting sick of seeing her in all of his movies he's releasing.
If we're going to start talking about TB movies we don't like mine is The Corpse Bride *runs and hides behind rock*. I mean, sure it was a cute movie and all, but to me, it was nothing special. Honestly, I think it was too hyped as being "from the creator of The Nightmare Before Christmas", so I went to the movie thinking it was going to be as good as The Nightmare Before Christmas and it wasn't.
On an unrelated note, like a jilted lover, I'm not happy with TB directing the new Disney Alice in Wonderland movie. stare
**I'd like to point out to the OP, Tim Burton had nothing to do with Coraline. It wasn't his movie, it is Henry Selick's. Turns out, Tim Burton never directed The Nightmare Before Christmas. Yes, it was his idea and he did create it, but he wasn't the director, Henry Selick was. I think that's why Coraline might have been as popular as it was. Before it was released, it was billed as "from the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas", it wasn't advertised as "from Tim Burton". So once people heard the keywords director of TNBC, they automatically thought of Tim Burton**

Yep, I think you are... But I did giggle when the guys got their throats cut, it looks so fake.... It was funny... But I love the songs...Especially the "Piping Hot!" Comments and such...The puns were so awful they were fantastic...

The Unholy Shadow 9 was amazing. I would laugh so hard if Burton refused and was like "No I don't make shitty movies". Ω
oh. yea. i totally would love that. I am totally in love with The Nightmare Before Christmas. I only saw the Corpse bride once, and it was okay, but nowhere as good as The Nightmare Before Christmas. I really liked 9. It was really really good. It was the first real scary movie i saw. i swear i was going to scream. I have yet to see Sweeny Todd, but Johnny Depp is so cool, that i will probably like it. Did you know that Helena Boham Carter is Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter movies? I didn't know that until last week. She plays that part good.

I saw Nightmare Before Christmas when I was 7 and I didn't realise it was acid until I was older. I thought it was a magic potion when I was younger. xd The monsters in the opening song scared the crap outta me though!
I loved Coraline and Corpse Bride though. Haven't seen Sweeny Todd or 9 yet. (Dad rented Sweeny Todd once, but he watched about 5 minutes of it when he was home alone and then returned it. I was pissed at him. Especially because I specificly TOLD him I wanted to see it.)
I PRAY that he doesn't do BD. The only good that could POSSIBLY come from it would be Twitards being scarred for life.

I agree with that King; all of them are so related to Hot Topic now, it's rather sad. TNBC isn't even scary, and yet all these teens are calling it 'gawth' and such. The movie is mediocre at best.
Don't ya love how you realize some things that you liked as a kid suck now...?
