the universe would explode. you see in giant swords there is a current of pure awesome (much like the lifestream) if said giant sword were to somehow break the awesome contain within it be unleashed into the universe which cannot handle that much awesome energy in it at one time and would immediately disappear in a puff of illogical nonsense. see this all makes perfect sense.
What would happen if vincent and barret were somehow fused together and had to share a body?
