It was going to be a good class, Aurtrox thought to himself. This was a fun bunch of students. Some problematic, and others goody-two-shoes. All with an abundance of potential though. He would take notice of the pendant Yui wore proudly. A glint of happiness in his eyes when he noticed it. To him, it was a symbol of the most important virtue; Hope. He couldn't help but notice some students were staring at him relentlessly, but he would purposefully avoid their gazes.
Aurtrox looked genuinely happy to see Cecil's hand shoot right up, a boy he had great hopes for in particular. Him and his team were an ideal example of what the school wished to produce. "Yes, Cecil!" He said called out to listen to the boy's question. 'If Atlas had bunkers for emergencies, wouldn't they also be using some older forms of communications like a radio to send signals for possible ways of assertaining help?'
"Great question Cecil, unfortunately radios in Remnant are fairly short ranged. In order to span the distance between our great countries we make use of the The Cross Continental Transmit System, or CCTS. This system utilizes towers based out of each of our great Hunter Academies. Atlas developed the Cross Continental Transmit System to allow the four Kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the world after the Great War, which I am sure you have all heard about." Aurtrox would clear his throat. as the body of students started to stand up and head for the airship. He would continue to answer questions as they were on the move though. "Within kingdoms, radio was used extensively, but railroads, and couriers were sent between kingdoms before this great technology was made. We mark the fall of each Kingdom with the fall of their CCTS towers, which is when we loss our quickest form of communication. We, of course, did receive updates from refugees from time to time, but they were by and large the same; the kingdom has fallen to an invasion of grimm." Aurtrox hoped this to be a satisfactory answer to Cecil's question.
Then came Yui's question. Aurtrox couldn't help but dona gentle smile at her timid hand. She was so brave, yet so shy at the same time.
'That's assuming their frequencies would reach us.. What if Atlas' communication tower had been obstructed in some way? .. If that was the case, then even if they were thriving, we'd all be in the dark until they could get it operational again.'
"Good comment, Miss Lioncourt. In truth, we don't know for sure if the CCT system was destroyed in each kingdom, sabotaged, or if our system was simply blocked. This is why our first priority once we reach a kingdom will be to reach the CCT system tower and look for evidence of all possibilities. If any of you are so lucky as to get on one of those missions. Hopefully in the near future, I will be most curious to see what you find." He would pause for a moment, eyes scanning the crowd of students. "Don't let anyone influence your opinion on the matter, everyone has an agenda, and I want you to make up your own mind when you see the evidence. If you've graduated by then, I'd love for you to let me know." He said this carefully, as he knew that the military, or council might want to conceal what actually happened. They would need to be prepared for this, but he could not make a claim directly. He wanted his students to remain objective, and make up their own minds as to the truth on the matter.
Another question:
' .. If you're at liberty to say, I have a personal question on the matter. What is it that you believe was the cause of the great downfall, Headmaster? Be it the council sweeping something under the rug, a nation of grimm unnoticed, or certain fables that may pertain a little truth. We attend this academy in order to harness the skills to stop the grimm, but do you believe that there is something more to the fall of nations aside from them?'
This question hit Aurtrox hard. He knew so much, so much he couldn't say, but it was true, his students were at a disadvantage with the truth guarded. In time he hoped to reveal the secrets of the world to each one of them, but only in the right time. "That is a tough question, Miss Lioncourt, I can't fully dive into the details right now, but I will tell you this... For as bright as the world is... I think there are shadows under every light." His gaze would lock with each student still paying attention. "And forces unseen, who toil in the night." He looked as if he was about to say something else, something much bigger, and more important than any of them could ever imagine, but then he abruptly turned and entered the airship. Cutting off the first segment of questions. Regardless, the airship's engine was revving up and making a lot of noise now. 'Umm...sorry...but...We have hundreds of refugees from Mistral. How can no one know? Surely someone musta said somethin? I ain't got much in the way o' details cuz it never seemed right ta ask her...but...My Nan were there when Mistral, the capitol itself fell. She's the one who started my trainin ta be a huntress. I...I don't know how famous she was overseas, but, she were pretty well known in Mistral. Valkyrie. Though, she 'ad Ma by then so, she was about ta retire ta teachin at the Academy. Lot of folks got out because she helped them evacuate. But...I've heard her mumble in 'er sleep bout a person ridin in on a Wyvern before hordes o' Grimm ran through the city, attckin everythin. Ma said she'd been havin' night terrors about it fer years...though, they been gettin less frequent. I ain't sure how much she'd remember by now though. Been thirty years an' she ain't no spring chicken no more. She can still fight on a good day...but, her memory's been slippin fer years.'
The students would all finish loading up by this time and the airship would take off. The ride was smooth and although there were seats with belts, the passengers were allows to walk around and talk. Aurtrox would casually make his way over to Sky who had asked a question that he had ignored. "Miss Aerodel, first I must apologize that we are unable to spread our wings this afternoon." His wings, magnificently huge, flexed out before returning to his side. He was personally feeling a tad restless and knew that several of their avian faunus likely wished they could take flight to their location, but it was not possible to do so in a timely fashion. "You are correct that we heard reports from refugees escaping each kingdom after the official date we marked them as fallen." He would say this loud enough for anyone interested to hear. "There have been other such reports of similar sightings, but the Council has been unsure of what to make of them. Some think they are just stories from people who were not mentally fit, some think that its simply PTSD, as stories have gotten more grand over time. In the end, we don't know the specifics. Maybe the wyvern was eating a person and tossing them into the air and someone looked up to see, and then falsely thought the person to be riding the creature right before it consumed them?" He would lean in closer so that just Sky could hear, "But don't let what others tell you change your mind." He'd give her a wink before turning to the side to address another student's question.
The class would continue in the air. Chatting away. The Headmaster would stay relatively in the middle of the vessel, holding onto a Velcro strap attached to the ceiling of the craft to keep his footing. He would answer questions non-stop, and be ready for follow up questions. Aurtrox's eyes would finally drift to Poppy, the lost one, he wondered how much she knew of her past, but he wouldn't approach her, nor would he look at her too long. At some point, the truth will come to the light, but for now, Poppy's existence pained him deep inside. She reminded him of his late sister. His eyes would go dead inside at the thought of her. But then a rumble of turbulence would shake him out of it, he would look around and breathe in deeply, donning a genuine smile of hope. He had to keep pushing. These students were not only his future, but the future.

It was rare for Azura not to be the first to arrive, however when Cecil discovered History class had been moved to the library, he ran out the door before Azura could finish packing her bag. She laughed softly, shaking her head a bit. His excitement was infectious. "You better hurry up, Adam!" Azura called to her teammate as she placed her notebook in her backpack. Grabbing Crimson Regret, Azura was the second from team DARK to leave the dorm. On the way there, she got a rather surprising message from Cecil. The Headmaster is teaching history? Cecil wasn't trying to prank them, was he? Why would Professor Aurtrox be teaching them today? What sort of teacher would he be? What if she embarrassed herself in front of the Headmaster of all people? Butterflies filled her stomach as worst-case scenarios filled her thoughts, despite being at the top of the class when it came to the academic side of things.
Upon entering the room and seeing the Headmaster was indeed standing at the front, Azura managed to trip over her own feet. She stumbled forward a few steps before regaining her balance. Red-faced and embarrassed, she hurried over to sit next to Cecil. Other students began to fill the room until finally, the class started. Was it really possible for people from Atlas, Vacuo and Mistral to be alive? Azura wanted to be hopeful, but she found it hard to believe after so many years of silence, especially for Vacuo and Mistral. Sure her parents were in Atlas, but two huntsmen living off the land were different than an entire civilization living underground. What did they do for food and water? And if their best huntsmen couldn't cross the land to Vacou, what was the chances anyone had managed to live, even if they were a nomadic people?
Having already embarrassed herself, Azura decided to let others ask the questions. As she listened to them and the answers the Professor gave, she couldn't help but notice he was implying other forces were responsible for the fall of the other kingdoms. She knew about the Tribe and Crimson Fang, of course, though neither of them fit the bill. Each wanted to take over the Kingdoms and change society, not cause the Kingdoms to fall to Grimm. Yui was on the same track, and being the braver of the two, asked the question out loud. It seemed they weren't going to get a direct answer today, on what that other force might be. The Grimm were a big enough challenge already, seeming infinite in their numbers. That someone might be working from the inside to bring Vale down was chilling. Who could possibly want the end to civilization?

Notably were Cecil, Skylar, and Miss Lioncourt; the former he met in a group dining experience he had escaped, Skylar being one who almost disabled them against the ravagers, and the latter he had the privilege to fight alongside in the caves mission. Something that felt like it had occurred so much longer ago than it actually was; and a promised talk that never came to be, not that he could fault her. She likely had been as busy as he; his own team shuffled and things changed along with clinic work meant he had very little free time to even think to seek her out. And outside of the caves...his own nervousness and paranoia had returned full force. To the point he felt it best to wait and see rather than pursue the matter back then and perhaps even now. Especially when he felt the safety net of his current team around him; he didn't readily desire to leave that. Chase would listen attentively though to the questions and the Headmaster's responses; all of them thought briefly going through his own mind and good things to point out. Cecil pointed out potential older ways of communication that could maybe be used to locate survivors, but Aurtrox would say how it would do them little good unless there; and that a priority for communications was the actual towers they had made in past to connect everyone. Which made sense if Grimm were still a large threat in the region; they could not send a full force completely blind and risk their own lives. Not to mention leaving Vale open to attack in such an absence; even if it may be cruel to think in such a way. But it did have merit in perhaps being able to send small teams to find survivors...unless such bunkers were too deep underground. As Yui would speak up next, Aurtrox would say much the same about something happened to the towers and that if they were lucky enough to go to tell him an objective report. Which made Chase rather curious. 'If he is on the council like my grandparents, why does he desire our own objective reports and worry about others influence? And why specifically for us to tell him of things...' Chase silently wondered to himself; as there seemed to be some belief that things may not be as accurate as reported. Chase could not imagine why though; he would think the military would be truthful in such things. Yui's last question was one that especially hit close to what Chase had been too cowardly to ask of; what did Aurtrox think happened? His answer was very vague, unlike his others, but it seemed to hint that there may be something other than Grimm at work. It seemed there was many secrets and things at play that Chase was unaware of; though he was unsure where to look to get such answers now. To Skylar, he seemed not to answer for now. Perhaps, due to them nearing the airship, he had other pressing things.
Musing on such thoughts, and awaiting a reply for his question, his team would soon do so thankfully. Poppy would be first; stating the presentation was okay, but seeming more focused on the professor. Chase hadn't quite notice it during class; his focus also being on the lecture and on those asking questions more so than anything else. She would comment on him being knowledgeable and feeling warm; Chase was not quite sure where she got that from. He could still feel his piercing and studying gaze of earlier despite the smile he had on while teaching. He was unsure yet what to think of the man. Thankfully, as he was still thinking when she asked him in return, his Roq would speak next. Saying how the council was untrustworthy from what his parents had told him; but lacking his usual fully confident tone. Chase was curious where all the distrust for the council had come from; it seemed to be a common thing, even from Aurtrox. He himself was...kept out of such news by choice when he was exiled from his own family. So he was not the most informed on such matter presently at least. Roq could also add how all they could do was fight for themselves and the lives of others; in a way what it meant to be a huntsman, in Chase's mind. Before Tabby could respond, they would be interrupted. And by they, it was more specifically Chase. Flinching in surprise at the sudden and unexpected approach, he would see Cecil before him asking if he was okay and introducing himself as Cecil of team Dark. Poppy would interject first, surprisingly, and introduce herself along with their team name. Eyes downcast, Chase would speak a quiet reply in return. "I am....alright. I am...Chase of team RPCT." He would give a small, semi-formal bow to the man as it was clear he was only growing more nervous by this rather than being calmed; not sure what else to say or anything as the other initiated the conversation. Thankfully, the awkward pause would be broken by Tabby and Roq; Chase focusing more on what Tabby was saying than the latter at this moment. She would say how the headmaster was cool and not an old fart, that she didn't like the movie and it reminded her of home which was uncomfortable for her. Which was interesting to Chase as he never really inquired about where Tabby was from or anything. Giving an uncertain look to Cecil, he would stay near enough to respond to him if he chose to continue conversation but otherwise would board onto the airship with his team. Giving them an answer then. "I liked the presentation. It was...interesting to see a glimpse of the past and to think of the possibilities of things. Even if...things may not appear to be as they seem, as the headmaster mentioned. As for the man himself... I am unsure what to think. Or how to act on what was being insinuated." He would respond truthfully to his team; content to ride it out with them rather than draw more attention to himself. "What do you think the purpose of going to town shall be? My guess would be...that it is to see some important historical aspect of the city; perhaps the wall or something else for why it has stood despite the others falling. But it is hard to tell with the headmaster." He would ask of them, genuinely curious.

Ren had arrived late at class this time, getting in just after the teacher had finished answering Yui's first question while he made his way towards her to sit down beside her. "Sorry for being late captain." He stated to her calmly while being a bit out of breath before everyone began to get up and onto their feet. "Where are we going?" He asked her a bit worried, feeling a bit lost while he answered her second question she had asked and then another student's question while they all walked. History was never his strongest suit and it was showing considering he had just recovered from an eventful week, but he was glad to have spent yesterday with his captain at the spa day. He heard his teammate Skylar speak about the refugees coming and the teacher's response, all of it was hurting Ren's head while he walked and then boarded upon the airship to find a place to sit himself.
'This is why I need this school.... discipline the mind to help forge the right path forward and whatnot.' He told himself as he shook his head to relax beside Yui once they were on the airship before he looked to her and smiled. "Remember, no one will have all the answers we need okay?" He commented, trying to comfort her on the fact their teacher and headmaster had dodged her question entirely by stating it was tough, and he couldn't give her the details about it. As they were all boarding the airship as it was about to take off, Ren smiled as he saw Chase, the boy from the mission and excitedly waved at him from his seat while he relaxed himself to sigh. It had been a rough time since the mission but now things were getting better... he hoped.

Cecil listened to the teacher's answers and nodded his head, understanding now that the radios would be too short a range to reach their country. It didn't make sense however for a place so high-tech to not have other forms of communications, that was until Yui pointed out that the place could have had itself cut off from senseless destruction of their means of communications. He sighed a bit and shook his head. It made sense now before they were well on their way to go and board the airship. Cecil walked alongside Azura as he held her hand, wanting to assure her that things would be okay. He had noticed the questions about the refugees and the atlesians had bugged her. Before he talked to Chase, he leaned in and whispered to Azura. "Don't worry, I'm sure your parents are fine.... if things are as they said, there could be hidden bastions at Vacuo and Mistral like us, just cut off from the rest of the world." He told her with a smile before kissing her cheek gently.
Cecil smiled at the interjection of Poppy as he bowed his head to her as they walked. "Pleasure to meet you. This is Azura, another member of team Dark, and Adam and Ridley should be around here somewhere. Those rascals tend to get themselves into quiet trouble I swear." He stated with a soft chuckle before he heard Roq speak rather brashly about someone and the headmaster? Cecil raised an eyebrow as he was about to ask but thought nothing of it before he looked to Chase. He noticed Chase staying close to Cecil as they walked as a group towards the airship before he nodded his head at Chase. "Glad to hear you're okay. Been trying to keep up with the news and well I heard about what happened at the caves awhile ago and I saw you taking the gunman lead during the wall. You're a pretty capable guy if I've ever seen one." Cecil told him, as a way to compliment him and inform him that he's only heard about him via word of mouth and school-based news surrounding the students. When Chase posed his question to his team, Cecil felt polite enough to remain quiet, waiting for his teammates to speak before he would politely speak. "If you don't mind me answering the question as well.... I personally think it's his way of getting out of school so he could ditch us in town and let us walk around as a 'history' lesson. I've had a teacher try to do that in sigil and he got scolded by the principal." Cecil stated, followed by a light chuckle and a smile as he was trying his best to make new friends.... mostly through the way Adam had helped earn his friendship.

The sky is grey. What falls to the ground are flurries of different colors. Red, blue, orange and many more. A crunching sound is heard and it's a lone man bundled from head to toe. The only things visible are the few strands of hair bleeding from beneath his hat. The landscape was a beautiful sight. The environment matching the aforementioned flurries. The man revealed himself from under his mask. The only man in the world. Adam Argent in his world of ice cream. With his skies and ski poles, shaped like ice cream scoops, stood atop the tallest mountain. "If I died... I'M COMPLETELY A'IGHT WIT' IT!!! WOOO!" he exclaimed taking off. With his rapid descent down the mountain, his "ski poles" accumulated a ball of ice cream with a plethora of different flavors. He reached the bottom and removes his gaiter mask. He licked his lips against the chill of the air and opened wide. He brought the delectable treat to his mouth and just before he could taste heaven an earth splitting earthquake showed its ugly face. The ground split beneath his feet. While starring down at the molten abyss below his ice cream fell to its demise. "NOOOOO!!" he screamed. He clutched his fist and assaulted the ground repeatedly. "Why?! Why?! This is HELL!!!" he lamented before falling into the abyss. He woke up in a start to see that it was Cecil who shook him awake. And it was about class. "I wanna kill 'im." Adam thought, He made tracks out of the dorm. You practically smell burnt rubber as fast as he ran out. Adam dragged himself outta bed and to the bathroom. He came out dressed and refreshed. Except he wasn't. He was dragging. He went back to his bed and threw the blanket back over him. Before he started to drift off to sleep, he heard one last thing. "You better hurry up, Adam!" Then there was nothing. Nothing but darkness solidifying he went back to sleep. For a second time that day he woke in a start, but this time in a cold sweat. "Azura's gonna kill me if I don't make it to class!" he started to panic. "Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap!" He grabbed a bag, Azura prepared for him, and rushed out. Not before looking to Ridley's bed and sighing. He decided to leave her be. She wasn't feeling well and he wanted her to rest. He checked his scroll and saw the class was in the library. "Where the hell is the library?!" he shouts. Then he sees and sign that points to the library. "Oh." is all he said. He sprints as he follows the directory and finally makes it to the library... to see no one there. "Oh crap! Oh crap, oh crap!" he panics again. Azura can be scary when she wants to be. He hasn't seen it, but he can practically smell the wild animal sheltered inside of her. "I'm too handsome to die!" he yelled internally. He heard commotion and chatter and ran to the window pressing his face against it comically. He notices a familiar brown mop-top and a long-haired ravenette. "Dere dey goh (There they go)!" he said sprinting outside to the airship. They were taking off and the doors were closing. He wasn't gonna make it. "Man, I sure am glad that shipment of industrial suction cups and grappling hooks came in today. I hope no one takes them while I turn my back for no reas- and they're gone." the man deadpanned. Panting heavily Adam makes it to the landing pad and swing the hook around aiming for one of the wings. Once, twice, thrice it swings around and latches to itself. "Yesh!" he exclaims with the suction cups between his teeth. His legs begin to lift off the ground as the go airbourne. He climbs the rope frantically to get close to the hull and attaches the cups. "Whew!" he sighs in relief. He ties the slack around his waist as a safety measure and holds on tight. "Yup. I'd rather go through all this than face Azura's anger." he smiled. The wind rushing through his hair and against his face was exhilarating.Thought he flapping of his cheeks and lips against the pressure of the wind was uncomfortable and comedic looking, he was enjoying the beautiful view of everything.

XXXThough the Headmaster had a majority of Yui's attention, it wasn't completely undivided. No, her natural skill in observation let her catch a familiar face entering the library from the corner of her eye. She had hurried in, being later than a handful of other students. So, Yui wouldn't pose a distraction. .. At least, not much of one. Her gesture was sly, but she'd offer a wave, along with a soft smile to her friend, almost as if assurance for her arrival. It would be fine, and they need not to stress. .. That was Yui's job. Though perhaps she had gotten too focused on the Headmaster, only now noticing that Skylar had graced them with her presence. She was glad that her teammate was doing well, and managed to keep herself from getting too dirty from her community work. She'd then recenter her attention on the headmaster as he began answering the various questions that they, the students, had bombarded him with. She was genuinely curious about his input, finding his knowledge as both headmaster and a council member invaluable. It was bittersweet to hear his response to Cecil, which had essentially confirmed her own followup statement to his question. She was right, and that was the problem. The nations had an irreplaceable reliance on the CCTS towers, and their loss would impact the world around them as they knew it. Aurtrox explained further following her own input, expressing his own knowledge on the matter. It was uncertain if the tower itself had been destroyed, sabotaged, or they were simply cut off from the world in one way or another. Furthermore, the first step to reclaiming the fallen nations would be to take on the tower head-on and get it operational once more, no matter the cost. Yui herself had hoped to be part of one or multiple of these excursions, though after her recent falling out with a commanding officer... She felt that her chances had grown infinitely slimmer. A note he touched on, however, had caused a sense of uncertainty to creep in her conscience. Everyone had an agenda, everyone had something they wanted out of reclaiming these nations... Did he think that others would try to sway their opinions on the matter of what has or was happening? ... And being a council member himself, was he not going to be part of this relay of information? ... Did he think he'd be excluded, that her mother would boycott the ongoings to some regard? .. Then again, from just the military activity, they were already insistent on sweeping the missing students under the rug without giving them so much of a second chance. Something that Yui had done herself, nearly at the cost of her own life. Perhaps Aurtrox was onto something.
There was only a brief pause in Yui's involvement with the class, thanks to hearing Tabby's shrill of excitement when she took notice of her. Yui's expression became sheepish momentarily, but brightened up and offered a small wave to the excitable girl. Now that her attention was broken, it was just enough for Ren and his fluffy ears to make their appearance. His presence was a welcome one, and one that brought a genuine smile to her lips. She gave him a nod, pulling her wings closer to her person so that she wouldn't muddle his space with her feathers. "Better now than after we take off, I'll catch you up." She said in a calm, friendly demeanor. These past few weeks have been rough on her, but, as circumstances came, she was making the best of it. Especially the day prior, the two of them had a spa day together. It was... Exactly what she needed. To unwind, to recover, and to reconnect with the teammate that had been with her since the beginning. The two of them hardly ever got time with one another, but they've both come so far. They got to reflect on the mission, as well as the final day of the festival where both of them signed up for more than they bargained for. She should've been there when the wall had been breached, but she was thankful that Ren could represent them and make the most of the dire circumstance. She herself... Well, was forced to face her greatest nightmares. "We're touring Vale, supposedly." She whispered, but then quickly took to asking her second question as the opportunity presented itself. It wasn't often that they got to p***k the headmaster's mind, and after everything recently... Frankly, she wanted to know more about his overall insight.
Though, his response was more so cryptic than lacking. As the daughter of a council member, she knew there was far too much information that couldn't be disclosed in a public manner. So, she hadn't been expecting much of a response from the headmaster... Though it appeared there was much more that he wanted to share with them. He was frank with them, knowing full well that it wasn't something to be shared in this moment. Whether in terms of privacy, timing, or priorities. But... His response had been enough to raise an eye, in an almost enigmatic fashion. He... had his own theories, his own ideas. That much Yui could piece together. While Grimm was the end all threat as it appeared, there was the possibility that something further lurked in the darkness, hidden by the shadows casted by the very beast they fight. The world was full of curiosities and hidden horrors, coinciding with countless conspiracies. Yui now knew that more than ever. Once her question had been... answered... The headmaster disengaged immediately as if leaving his sentence to hang in the air. He had turned away and entered the airship, and Yui would merely follow suit Where others may have been stumped by the headmaster's answer, it opened more gateways for Yui. Her curiosity had grown, but she had not entirely found satisfaction in such a dodgy answer. That was present in her expression until Ren caught her attention with a smile and spoke up. Yui's thoughts had fumbled a bit before a sigh escaped her lips. He was right, just as he gave her an inkling of advice during their spa day. It was up to her to find out more, from this point out. To think for herself, and not rely on what others had to share. That's what she had been gathering from today's lesson, even if that was not in fact the intention. "We may just have to look a little harder, to find them ourselves. Thank you, Ren." She said sincerely, offering him a small smile in return. He had become somewhat of a beacon of support for her as of lately, just as Kail and Garret had in their own rights. It was nice, to have someone so close by to pick her up. Something that she hoped to do herself for him, and the rest of their team.
Yui motioned for Ren to board the plane before her before following behind him. In doing so, she caught a glimpse of Chase who had been talking among his peers. That was good. It seemed like in the cavern, he had really struggled with that. Had it been because of the cavern he tried to be more open? .. Boarding the ship was a requirement, though, every fiber of her being wanted to fly to wherever they were going on her own. A desire that was surely shared by both Skylar and the headmaster, knowing their avian nature as well. But alas, with an army of land walkers, they had to partake in this metal deathtrap of a flight device. As she boarded the plane and took her place standing beside the one window with a clear view of the airplane's wing, she'd catchword of Skylar's question to the headmaster trailing off into the ether. Truthfully, she knew very little about Skylar. The most she really knew was that she had some heritage in Mistral, or from Mistral, but she didn't know how they had suffered during the fall of the nation. That her nan, who trained her, had been there when everything had fallen apart and suffered for it psychologically. It was... Unfortunately to hear, and her deepest condolences were sent in silence. In the conversation, however, she heard mention of a Grimm that only seemed to be a fable. A wyvern once mentioned being a legendary Grimm that was an omen for the end. Had Skylar's nan truth witnessed such a creature? There were other grimm of rarity, like the Sea Feilong her mother had slain and made a statue to commemorate in the estate. Even a Leviathan, but a Wyvern? If that was the case, it was no wonder how few survivors there were, if any at all. The headmaster had even confirmed some of what she said, such as the latened refugees coming to Vale, and the probability of a wyvern's presence. What was less probable, however, was someone riding the savage beast.
"You missed a presentation, Ren. It was a brief video that was a lesson topic well over thirty years ago, as it talked freely about the unity of the four nations. This included the role of the cities of Vale, Mistral, Atlas and Vacuo, and the purpose of huntsmen academies." Yui began to explain rather quickly, but in a detailed summary for the rabbit faunus to follow. She further explained how he went into the measured timeline of each nation's disappearance from communication, as well as the suspected cause of a grimm invasion. This leading up for the past 30 years to the silence of Atlas who vanished out of no where, and lead to Vale becoming vastly overpopulated. Theories of potential survival and thriving, despite having gone dark, and further how their goal as a whole is to reconnect these fragmented nations to unite Remant once again. In the midst of explaining that, and the airship taking off, something caught Yui's eye. It was something odd that had suddenly appeared to cling onto the wing of the ship, barely visible from her own window. It was... A suctioncup and a rope? 'What in Remnant's name...?' Yui asked herself mentally, tilting her head just a little more to catch a glimpse of a familiar face flailing in the wind tailing behind the wing. With frantically flapping cheeks and flailing locks of hair, she saw Adam clinging to the wing of the airship. The sight nearly caused the girl to choke on her spit, but then brought an innocent smile to her lips. ... One so innocent, it almost seemed devious. She had wondered where the boy had been, since most of his team had been present for the lesson. She'd catch a glimpse of the boy's gaze, her blue hues connecting with his own. Slyly, she'd raise her hand in an inconspicuous wave. 'Better hold on, Adam. I'll fetch you if you slip, but only if you slip.' She thought to herself before turning ber back to the window, stretching her grand white wings to cover the one or two windows that could actually see Adam. Her smile was faint, but almost devious as she closed her eyes and merely waited. They'd land soon enough, right? And then, well, she would've finally gotten back at the boy for so rudely invading her space and taking her from her table all those months ago.

Aurtrox would ignore the certain ongoings of a specific member of team DARK. Aurtrox loved chaos anyways, as he enjoyed taking what most saw as uncontrollable, and finding a way to make it bend to his will. This was something he need not bother with, as he would simply pretend nothing was out of the ordinary as the airship slowly made its descent. The Airship would be clearly over the agricultural center. Students could see many fields and farms as far as the eyes could see. Small pockets of population here and there, tiny cities that were crammed closely together to maximize space for farming. The people had the short end of the stick. The plants had more room to stretch by far. It was sort of an odd look to it, farms stretching far and wide, then an abrupt ending to multi-story residential complexes that towered up high. Unlike Beacon, these buildings were dilapidated and dirty. Cracks in the concrete, sun-bleached stone, and countless clothes lines strung out of windows to other buildings. Simply put, Aurtrox had taken them to the slums.
The airship would gently touch down in a cleared field, a freshly chopped cornfield. The headmaster would walk to the door and be the first one out of the airship. He would stand to the side and offer his hand to help anyone who needed assistance on the steep ladder ramp. "Welcome to the Agricultural district, we are just outside a small town called Shriar."
After everyone disembarked, Aurtrox motioned for them to gather around. The Airship's pilot turned the machine off and would remain on standby. "If any of you have a medical emergency you will simply need to make your way back to the ship, our pilot is also trained in first aid. Otherwise, we will be doing a walking field trip for the next two hours of Shriar." Aurtrox would pause for a moment. His demeanor relaxed, yet upright and stately at the same time. His eyes would scan the group, hovering over Adam for a little bit longer before moving to the next. Certainly they all wanted to know why they came to a small slum in the outer edges of the city. He would oblige. "Shriar used to be a much smaller town. It had actually only just gotten its first complex put in place when the Mistral fell. Since then, refugees have flocked to it for work in the fields." He would gracefully motion with his arms for them all to follow as he made his way to the town's entrance. A grand tori gate of sorts. Hinting at a mistral culture within. "Those from Mistral prefer to be with nature. Their architecture incorporates mostly organic materials and is decorated with plants, so most of them flocked to the outskirts to work and live on farms. Fortunately this increased our food production drastically, which made accepting other refugees easier to manage." As they approached the students would all notice the place was very busy. People of all kinds, human and faunus alike walked as if they were on a mission. Many of them with wheelbarrows or arms full of produce. Several faunus children all between the ages of 6 and 10 shucked corn at the edge of a field, their bodies dirty, and their hands calloused from work.
They would all enter through the gate, and immediately they would be hit with a foul odor. Hundreds of people went about their day's work. It was like a rustling market-like place in the middle where locals exchanged goods. Otherwise numerous carts were being prepped to ship food into the city. The shocking part of it all was none of the carts had engines, they were either small hand-drawn carts like a jinrikisha or pulled by animals.
"The people of Shriar, like most agricultural towns, deliver the goods to the nearest riverport, from there it is taken to all other parts of the city. It is hard work to say the least and even though there is high demand for food, wages are low. The entire country is under great economic stress, but fortunately we are making it work." The headmaster would stop briefly in the middle of the market square. Countless people watched the class, some had looks of distress at the newcomers, others looked disgruntled. Some children stared with awe at the students. Their clothes were simple rags in comparison to the beacon student uniform. "These are the people we are fighting for. Not only to save their lives, but to bring prosperity back to Remnant." Most of the students were very privileged and hadn't lived in the slums, or even been to one. This was a critical lesson to understand the culture and history of Vale. "Our history has led us to a point, where we have two sides. The rural areas like this, and perhaps a scene you're more familiar with, the industrial sector." Of course, not all of them had been to the industrial sectors, but as the industrial sector neighbored the downtown area, many had at least passed by. It was full of factories, some turned into crammed residential shelters, others full on underground markets. Most of the decent paying jobs were down there, even though living conditions were anything but glamorous. At least in the rural towns you got sunlight and nature.
"As you can surmise, the rural areas have a higher population of faunus than the city. This contributes greatly to the racial tensions of the day. Atlesians tend to stick to the city, Mistral folk like the rural areas. Vacuons tend to be in the rural areas, but have adapted well to all sectors. Original citizens of Vale are ubiquitous as one would expect." The students would surely learn a lot about how the country was currently doing and how it tied into their past, but Aurtrox was growing weary of prolonged dialogue. "Now, as important as history is for us, I hope you all realized I tried to tie it into our current situation. History is meaningless if not tethered to our current reality. We cannot lose sight of that. Furthermore, we ought to lend history our ear, and let it inform us as to our future decisions..." Aurtrox circled the group, as if rounding up animals. His steely gaze looking into each of their eyes. "I have an assignment. After which, you are free to return to the ship which will leave in about an hour and a half from now. You are each, individually, paired, or in a group, to go around and offer to help people complete their tasks. Simply inform them of your time constraint, and how it is a school assignment. Do as they instruct, but make sure your scroll's sound is on as it will start beeping fifteen minutes prior to departure so you have time to get back." Aurtrox's arms opened wide to signal that they were dismissed to carry out their assignment. "I'll be chatting with the mayor in the townhall if you need me." He shot them all a bright a smile, and stood there as the students began to disperse. He would wait to answer questions before turning around and heading into the townhall at the backend of the market.

--------- Poppy looked around at the other students as they introduced themselves, she remained quiet as they had discussions with each other. Once they were in the airship and on their way somewhere she became slightly nervous, this was heightened when Roq questioned why she was staring at the headmaster so much. She opened her eyes widely and became evidently distressed, looking to the ground and then briefly at Roq. "Oh.. no.. I.. um.." she said, wanting to tell him everything but unable to - she couldn't trust anyone, not yet. Poppy laughed awkwardly, she looked at her team and then back at Roq "You seem to have a connection with the headmaster too, no?" she asked, attempting to avert the attention to him and off of her. The swans face was a shade of red, she then felt the headmasters eyes on her for a brief moment, and couldn't bare to look. She became so frustrated with herself, too scared to do or say anything as always, she would never know who she was at this rate.
She listened to Chase's question and shrugged a little, just happy to be with her team. "I'm not sure.." she answered. They landed and were given an assignment, the team was to go around and help other people around the town with their tasks? What type of class was this? Poppy looked a little confused but decided to just go with it. They were off of the airship and outside in the town, a place that made Poppy uneasy. She had been in the town before, but as a slave - something she wished she could forget. "Umm.. can we, can we stay together?" she would ask her team, not wanting to be on her own in the town. People were already looking at the swan as they passed by, making her move closer to Roq and look to the floor, nerves swarming her.

Even still, she doubted many could out do her Nan in will. The woman was tough as steel. But, the headmaster seemed to be open to the possibility at least. Before long, the ship set down and Skylar blinked in confusion. She was familiar with this place. Her mom's farm wasn't that far off from here and even employed some of the people from here as farmhands. She cast the headmaster a questioning look as she stepped off the airship. The headmaster was imposing quite heavily on the people here. Even a freshly harvested feil was of significant use and they'd parked right in the middle of it. However, the bigger imposition was the revelation that the class was supposed to help the people here. Most worked hard and fast. Having someone jump in without commitment would waste time. Especially if they had no idea what to do.
Tilting her head as the headmaster finished, she heard a few people speaking in a dialect she recognized. She'd kept close to her team up until this point and turned, bowing to the locals in the same dialect. She spoke it fluently and the sounds used made her voice ever so slightly higher-pitch than normal. Gradually, a few of the locals started taking notice of her and began to wave to her. She smiled and waved in turn before turning back to her Team.
”Sorry. I'm actually from round 'ere so, I guess it'll be easier fer me to do what the headmaster asked...but...the people ain't too eager. If ya don't got experience with stuff like sexin' chickens, which is finding out if yer holden a rooster or a hen, gathering or preppin crops, milkin animals an' so on...yer just gonna slow everythin down.I ain't got a clue why the headmaster decided ta get us workin round ere. I ain't no expert mind, but, I done a bit o' everythin here and there long as it didn't involve no heavy liftin an such so..I can help a little in speedin thing up if y'all don't mind, though, I'm thinkin best way ta help fer most of us would be in movin stuff. Ain't no special techniques or nothin ta speed it up so, ya can't really hinder it too much.” ☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█Team: DSHR█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁

He had remembered, briefly, seeing the pair on the caves missions and from their luncheon what felt like lifetimes ago. Though that did little to ease his un-ease at being approached by relative strangers; even if they were all technically acquaintances by attending this school. He was just glad the other two, this Ridley and Adam, were absent at present. Having remembered the cafeteria and wanting to shrink away from this team then, mostly at the suddenness of being placed together, he was a bit better this time around. He wasn't going to kill the lights and run like he did the first time at least. He would manage a shy nod to Azura, though Cecil seemed the only one intent to speak for the moment. He would say he was glad to hear he was okay, and that he had heard of Chase's...exploits? The crimson eyed hunter in training shyly looked down as he spoke oh his actions in the cave being well known as was his actions as gunman on the wall. 'I...I was just doing what anyone would do...' He shyly thought to himself; a reputation was not something he was trying to achieve. Just...redemption perhaps, or even a purpose. Chase mentally shook away such thoughts for now; it would not do to focus on such things at present. "Thank you but...I was only doing what...Anyone would do." He would say quietly and shyly, barely audible.
After getting the answers to his question from his team, Cecil would speak up for his own answer. At least being polite about it, seeming to wait a moment to see if there may be objection in his pause, before saying the headmaster wanted to ditch them as a history lesson; saying he went through a similar thing in sigil with a professor that was later scolded for it. Chase seemed to...be pondering things. Not sure if it was joke or no but taking it into serious consideration. 'What would he have to gain from doing such a thing?' He wondered silently to himself, not seeing any real way honestly. Having boarded the airship, he would hear a questioning exchange between Roq and Poppy on how the pair knew Aurtrox; leaving Chase curious and listening in as well. While not being the best at social cues, even he could tell Poppy seemed to very much not want to answer the question; proposing the question in turn to Roq first to avoid answering it seemed. Chase wondered what that could imply; but he would only learn whatever she decided to speak of and would not press. He knew he had secrets of his own he would rather not be revealed to others; being glad most people he met either knew not his familial name or were not very aware of the going ons of the nobility of Vale.
They would finally reach their destination; Chase having been looking out the window and having gradually seen the change in scenery to that of farmland and fields. It almost seemed like there were tiny cities crammed into whatever space was left after the farmland; making Chase wonder which came first truthfully. Though judging by the states of the actual buildings, it seems it was more an after thought than the farms in Chase's mind at the very least. Dilapidated and dirty, Chase was confused to see such things here where it was simultaneously open yet cramped. 'I thought farmers tended to have one house by a farm/ field and city separate from it all?' He silently questioned to himself as most his own knowledge of such lives, besides the clinic garden which was specifically medical, were limited to stories. As the airship landed and headmaster departed from it, team Respect along with the others would follow suit. He would introduce them to the agricultural district; saying they were just outside some town called Shriar. Chase almost physically tilted his head as he looked around; having expected something a bit more advanced for their own agricultural district. He would also mention that if any medical emergencies arose, the pilot was trained for it and to return to the ship while the rest of them would be exploring the place for two hours. 'That is good. I can offer help for anything more...minor.' He thought to himself silently. He would explain how Shriar used to be a much smaller town and that it only got a new complex when Mistral fell; which was some time ago. He explained, as he led them, how refugees flocked here due to Mistral people having a deeper connection with nature and because of this with them working the lands it helped provide more food for everyone. Chase felt slightly...embarrassed, to not know much of Mistral. While he was Mistral by blood, he had never seen the lands and his family did not speak of it much. When he was last in contact with them at the least; it had been some time. 'If my family were not so well off, would this be my fate?' He wondered silently.
Lost in thought, he almost missed the Tori gate that seemed to be the entrance to the town; making him wonder more as to its significance. His family had been swift to adapt to Vale and teach their young to embrace the new; he was never sure why, but neither side seemed concerned with Mistral's recovery now. Not of his parents generation or younger at least. Once past the gates, they would see a town bustling with energy and purpose; even if the denizens were less than presentable. Kids working as well, much younger than he ever had to, and a foul odor of so many unclean bodies in close proximity; Chase wrinkled his nose slightly, wishing he had worn his hunter attire so he would have a veil for the smell. Resigning himself to breathe more through his mouth while here at the least. 'I shall need a shower after this...how can others live so though?' He wondered to himself; his own life, despite even exile, never seeming to allow for this. Aurtrox would continue now, saying how the food produced here and in other places would be delivered to riverport where it could then reach other parts of the city. It was hard work, which was clear to Chase, and high demand with their refugee issues; that was something Chase was aware of. Aurtrox would go on to mention that the wages for such jobs were low due to the economic stress of the country, something he remembered hearing faintly from one of his grandparents, but it was functioning. Though as Chase looked upon the people, seeing children in what seemed like rags, he was wondering what definition of functioning Aurtrox could mean. 'Are things truly this bad?' Chase wondered to himself; even in the city it did not seem this bad, save for the displaced refugees on the streets. Aurtrox would continue, saying how these were the people they would be fighting for; not just for their lives, but for prosperity. Chase only silently nodded to it; mind swimming a little with al that was being presented to him. Listening as Aurtrox continued to speak but remaining silent and focusing more in just listening than analyzing for the moment. He would go on to mention racial tensions and how the people of all nations seemed to be spread out; which was curious to think on later. He would then emphasize how history was meaningless if not tied to reality; almost circling them like cattle as he did so with Chase shrinking away from his gaze and staying near to Tabby in particular.
Then, perhaps a bit too dramatically, he would give them their assignment; to help out here in the limited time they had left. Saying they had 90 minutes but would get a 15 minutes alarm so they had ample time to return to the airship before departure, and that he would be speaking with the mayor in the town's hall if they needed him. Looking around at the citizens of this town and then back to his team his eyes would meet all of theirs; being braver when amongst his own, at least enough to speak and look them in the eyes most times. Hearing Poppy speak her concern, Chase would nod. "I would like that as well. We can help each other out as well with the work, and with anything else that pops up. Perhaps we can help in the fields, where it may be a bit more isolated? I have some experience...caring for plants, though it was not crops." He would say with a faint smile as he looked to Roq and Tabby for what they desired and giving his own suggestion. He would also faintly here the voice of the one who almost doomed them in the caves. With everyone being near, he could hear her begin to speak on everything. Chase remained silent for now; not desiring to interact with her. He would listen intently to the rest of his team to see what they would do. If they were to go as a team, he would happily follow them and help as he could. If not, he would try to stick with whoever wanted to pair up and find a quieter place to to try to help the people here.
TEAM: RPCT WEAPON/PROFILE: Stabby, Jabby, and Tabby~! Tabby is at this place!!!!: Classs of historyyyy Tabby is with this person!!!!: Mutey boyo Chase! Pretty Girl poppy!! SUSPICIOUS HUMAN SPICY BOY ROQ, OTHER PEOPLE Tabby is doing this!!!!: Field trip!!! OOC: //////////////////////////// Throughout the class so far, Tabby had no understanding of what was going on. So much talk was exchanged on the air craft, it was hard do much of anything but listened to the lesson. She understood some context behind it all,but with so many questions flying about, they may as well had put a sticky note on her head, feigning the words of her misunderstandings. The questions she had before would be pointless by this point. It was only due to those around her had she finally understood what exactly was happening... Just a little. Why was history so old, and complicated!? She could constantly keep on thinking this but no answers would ever reach her, despite all the constant wonderings as to why. History was just like that. The over smartical ones with too many questions were of no help! Why couldn't she be as smart to ask!?
Wanting to get those frustrations out and talk, she couldn't. Her team was in their own amount of conversation. Poppy, talking with Roq, and Chase with the random stranger. Frustrating!!! The only guide point to follow at that point, was to take out her sewing kit, and work on a small piece of fabric from the box, just in order to stay sane. She wasn't allowed to stab or jab at anything, and with the headmaster teaching, any outbursts was a no no!!!! Just as well. Some good had come out of trying to behave. While sewing, her feet casually swung back and forth, all the while paying some better attention than before. "The whole time this been about radio communications, and settlements around the kingdoms?" Such an important factor that had been badly overlooked on her short attention span! For shame, for shaaame. Simply figuring out as to where they were going now, based on the conversation alone, Yui mentioning the four nations in unity had been the to final vocal point of understanding. Ohhhhhhh!!!!! So that was truly it!!! Too late to go back to having no idea!!
Tabitha could at least be looking forward to the touring. Their location had been surprising, though based on the lesson so far, the agricultural village was a different change of scenery. Yeek!!! Why were there so many factory buildings so close together!? Smooshing her face to the window nearest to her, she had bundled away her sewing kit with unfinished work, excitedly bouncing to be off the airship to have a closer look below! She only could have wished she had been better prepared when they had unboarded, after the hustle and bustle of people about. Tabitha may have been alright, but knowing two of her teammates, it had to be very disheartening and more so, possibly claustrophobic. Chase had drawn near her, which had her guessing such a thing even more! "No worries!!! Big sis Tabby will protect!"
The regards of age was unimportant, but the pure intentions of justice for a teammate was there. Though pure, there was no protecting the smell that hit, as they had all passed through the gate. "Bwaaah!" Rather surprised, the young woman had to plug her nose by using her shirt. Strong!!! Stronger than the fishy smell from her semblance... Without the acid reflex! Looking to her team, she huddled close to her closest teammate to avoid the smell, attempting to cling to an arm. "Peeee-yuuuuu....." Silencing herself to small whimpers, Tabitha had proceeded regardless, as the headmaster had guided them on their path through Shiar. The more they proceeded, the more... Surreal it looked to her. She could only be grateful that she was with her team in the first place, as well as with her classmates. But the headmaster had asked them after the end of the speech, had her more excited than she believed. Cleaning and helping! These villagers certainly deserve to have some sort of help their way, even if it was just for a class such as history. Such a small amount of time it would take however. An hour and a half was much too short. Before she could really say too much, her classmate Skylar had of course, spoken some information she knew, based on her own history. Useful information it was, she had to admit. What truly drove her attention though, was towards Poppy, who spoke on wanting to work together with her team. Chase was also an agreement to this, and most likely, Roq was going to be saying exactly the same, considering who it was that had mentioned this idea. Tabby may be naive, but Tabby wasn't blind!! Even though she sensed it she had no idea what was truly going on. It could be anything really. Gasp! Maybe, maybe Poppy was the real team leader! Tabby could picture it! Picture time had to wait for another day, however. This was class time! Not picture wonderment time! It would be silly to be picturing at a time like this. That was an easy solution. Just brush it off, just like a mop from back home! "going together as a team sounds terrific!! It gives us spendy spend time together! Don't worry, Tabby will behave!" Behaving was certainly the plan! Unsure of a good spot to begin their class project, Chase had the wonderful idea of working in the fields. The fields sounded awesome possum! The fact he had experience in the fields was truly a blessing in disguise for such an occasion. It combined everything together smooth. Between the headmasters lecture on the current state of affairs with the kingdoms, and the combined workings of helping those it in such State of affairs, it was like killing two birds with one stone. "Idea sounds awesome choice!! Tabby agrees to the field working! Tabby will make sure to avoid picking out the wrong plants! Please teach us... Oh!!! Only if Roquie and Poppy want to tooooo!"

By level three she is able to walk up to 6 steps, but the area range does not move nor change. - the aromas used in battle cling to people afterwards. -in order to get affected they need to be in her range of semblance in order for the semblance to kick -.needs to have the image of the aroma choice in her mind (ex: mint leaves, apples, fish, cake, catnip, lavender flowers) -hallucinations in dice rolls as drawback happen because of the aromas backlashing at her and effecting her at a different mental state.
Rσϙ Oυɾɾσƙ blinked twice with an expressionless face as Poppy tried to divert the conversation another direction. He wanted to say something snarky and cutting, but this was Poppy he was talking too. He let out a sigh and went along with it, albeit, a little dismayed he might not get the information he wanted. "Sort of... He knows my parents. Don't ask me how. He just does..." He would fold his arms before continuing. "They had a problem, a big problem, and he helped them solve it." He said this in a vague way, maybe Poppy would catch on that HE, Roq, was the problem of which he spoke. "He also got me a full-ride sponsorship to Beacon. I think as a sort of thank you to my parents, but they don't tell me anything...". He was about to ask Poppy again, but the time had passed and the ship started to land. Once they were down they followed Aurtrox into the town square where he lectured. Roq found it slightly easier to pay more attention here, but nevertheless lost track of the talking points as he observed the town. It was like a worse, more crowded, version of home.
After all was done and said, they had an assignment to go help people of the town. Poppy wanted to stick together, Chase suggested the fields, and Tabby hopped onto that idea as if it was cheesecake. Roq groaned, but nodded. He didn't feel the need to say anything, he just picked a direction and led the way. They reached the edge in no time, small town afterall, a middle aged faunus woman and two of her kids worked the nearest field. They had a wheelbarrow full of tools and they were picking some sort of gourd looking fruit out of the field. "Hey Lady!". Roq's voice came off angry, but he didn't intend it to sound that way. However, it was very effective for getting the woman's attention. She had stripes on her face, like a zebra, Roq thought.
Roq took a few more steps fowards. "We are on a class assignment, we gotta find people to help out as the headmaster is chit-chatting with the man upstairs." He was straight forward. He explained the whole situation and the lady still seemed unsure about it, but she finally agreed to let them help. Showing them the tools in the wheelbarrow, some knifes to cut the gourds from their vines was the main tool. The two kids were probably around 7 and 9 years old, they watched the team with big, wonder-filled eyes.
"We don't grow these back home." Roq would would mumble out-loud as he examined one of the gourds. The lady would respond by letting them know that these gourds were to feed livestock, which is why they likely hadn't seen them before. Roq would turn to Tabby and hold a gourd out. "I dare you to take a bite." His face was expressionless, but his eyes did shift to Chase and Poppy for a second, curious what they thought Tabby would do. "Unless you're too chicken..."
--------- Poppy listened to Roqs very brief statement about his family, she was intrigued to hear more about it but was somewhat pleased he had opened up, even slightly. She felt a little guilty, Poppy wasn't one for sharing her story - why would anyone want to hear it? She decided however, that she was going to try and be more open with her team, and if not, just Roq, he had done that for her. She saw the enthusiasm in Tabby and couldn't help but smile slightly, the girl was always so bubbly, it was refreshing for Poppy and she almost wanted to keep her in her pocket if she could. The swan would curiously look to Chase next, watching him as they followed Roq down the streets to ask if anyone needed help for their assignment. Poppy would smile towards him, holding her arm as she thought what so say to the other introvert in their team. "So.. Chase.." she would say, questions that she had read as good ice breakers rushed through her head, "Where did you grow up?" she would ask, not really thinking about the potential consequences of asking such an invasive question.
It was then that Roq would ask a lady who was with two children if they could assist, which after a few moans she would accept. The job was pretty painless, just to cut down some gourds together. Poppy would notice the two children were staring at her wings for quite a while. If there was something she had a soft spot for, it was children. The children came close to her, Poppy would turn and give them a gentle smile as she would have a lovely chat with them. They wanted to touch her wings and asked, which she felt instantly nervous about, however she smiled and opened them up widely - they were magnificently sized, although one was badly damaged and the other had evident wounds.
The children gasped slightly, still touching them thought "What happened to your wings lady?" one of them asked. Poppy would think briefly how she would address it, she would swallow what felt like an apple down her throat and fold them back in slowly. "Well, unfortunately I was in an accident a few years ago and they were hurt.." that was a big lie, it would take an idiot to believe it was the truth by her eyes shifting. "But I believe I'll be able to heal them one day!" she said, winking at them as they became excited for her like young girls. "Just always make sure you stick together.. friends give you unbelievable amounts of strength, never find yourself alone.." she said, touching their arms as they ran off to play.
Poppy stood up straight again, she turned to her team and became nervous. "Right.. I'll start now.." she said, looking for a knife. She grabbed it and began to get to work, flashing Roq a few looks as she became increasingly scared that he would ask her about the wings, it was so obvious she was lying by the colour of her face.

As Rosa got off the chair she went and hugged Inari, and here she thought she would need to go to the library alone! It wasn’t a bad thing for her to do it on her own, but there is no question about it that going to the library with a friend was always better. While Rosa was still hugging him his words made her jump in place and quickly free her hands from him “gah! Inari!! T-that’s just… n-no!” she said as her face turned bright red, but then it became an even darker shade as Inari grabbed her hand and dragged her to the library. Once the two finally got there she quickly snatched her hand back to her to catch her breath, she was not expecting such a thing from him “A-anyways what is it you are looking for Inari? I need to head to the Vacuo section so do let me know if you need my help, let me know where you are going to be so I can come by from time to time” she would ask and wait for his answer, once he told her she would go over to the Vacuo section “now… where can I find the species of Faunus in Vacuo…” Out Of Creativity:
