Prodigy Chosen Power Name: Survival Instinct Power Description: Lysanthus is aware of what things are dangerous and what things are safe when it comes to the water. An example might be, that he knows that a lion fish is poisonous to touch without having ever touched one. He would also know what is safe to eat, what isn't, and if there are things in the ocean that have health benefits, he is aware of that. It had been difficult for Lysanthus to understand when he first arrived on the shores of Telrunya. He was fortunate to have found a naiad when he arrived that led him to the lake and explained the basics of things. Concepts that were difficult for Lys to grasp: like society and family. Language served as somewhat of a barrier, his was so much more simpler and not filled with long an unnecessary words.
Even what he was doing now, he didn't fully understand. It was part of becoming a part of something. Lys had never been a part of something, did he even want to become a part of this life. But they were just like him, Lysanthus had never seen another like him before. Find a pearl, Lysanthus had seen many pearls, but for some reason this one was to be special then the ones he had mindlessly tossed out of oysters in order to eat.
Lys had the pearl now though, he looked around with uncertainty as he approached the water globe. All the eyes were on him now. Could he still run away, back to the deep ocean? He certainly looked more nervous then some of the teenagers who had gone just before him. The pink male pushed the pearl through the strange surface, he didn't think it would go through, it didn't seem possible, but it did.
Lys' eyes became dazzled as he watched the pearl's transformation occur. He had never seen anything 'magical' before. As the lovely queen came and removed the strange material from the water and bring it into the cup, Lysanthus felt even more nervous. Now he was going to drink this. His eyes darted around the room, still unsure, still being watched. They were his own kind, fish traveled in schools of their own kind, it was time he did. Lysanthus drank.

We like the weaknesses on this and the power itself is okay, but it needs to be a bit more restricted! Rosewater is removed from the original electrical source and no pae at adult stage can kill with their magical abilities. Therefore, we propose the following:
This can only be used as a healing/helping ability. Rosewater cannot alter pulses in a harmful way. It should be limited to general chest/heart issues and not beyond that.
If she makes it to Hallowed, the power can be expanded beyond these limits. If you are okay with this, please rewrite the power with these limitations in mind! Otherwise, you can change the power to something else.

While in Peacock form he can summon roots from the ground and have them weave into his tail to use as a sort of shield. Weakness: Fire kills the roots, they can only take so much damage from other attacks. If he needs to move and block on the run, the shield is weaker because he's having to rip the roots from the ground, which is the primary energy source. As the sugar maple produces sap used to make maple syrup, Maple Sugar can produce a sweet, sticky substance that can be used to sweeten foods and drinks. Plus she always smells vaguely of maple candy. The bark of the sugar maple has historically been used to treat coughs, Maple Sugar's maple syrup will also be useful to treat minor coughs. She can shift into a "tree" form for camouflage. Weakness: Any injuries sustained in tree form are retained when she shifts back. The maple syrup she produces can only be produced while in tree form, and producing it drains her very life force. A little bit taken won't hurt her, but too much will leave her feeling woozy and fatigued, much like someone donating blood would. As trees tend to stay rooted, each time Maple Sugar shifts into her tree form, it becomes more and more tempting not to shift back. It had been said that the Faunies were all from here anyway, lost seeds or something. Maybe it was just in their bones. She watched the twig catch fire and burn, smiling as the smoke made curling wisps in the air. It's a little sad to watch her twig burn away, but its ashes were collected into something even more special--a quintessence.
Eager to put down roots again, Maple Sugar stands at the ceremony when it is her turn. She comes forward and receives her quintessence, nestled in a hand-carved bowl. It's plain, but beautiful. She likes it. She sips the seed-like orb into her mouth and swallows all at once. It tastes and smells of green growing things, and for a moment she's reminded of Equestria in springtime. It feels like home.

As the girl was addressed, she stood to accept the bowl and drink it. What a strange feeling; it was as if she could feel the warmth spreading inside of her, filling her with energy. The girl could practically feel it tingling in her hands. Sitting back down, she waited patiently before she was again addressed.
"Rise, Rosewater, a new healer in the faun community. Lady Vanya will be available as a mentor and a guide in the mastering of your new ability."
Ah... The same category of power as her mother? That was a bit disappointing, to be honest. Her father could produce weapons made of electricity out of nothing; her mother could clean a wound by kissing it. It was clear who was the stronger between them. Blatantly obvious even. Blasted spirits were playing a trick on her now, were they?
Smiling, she looked to Vanya and nodded once in recognition, etching the picture of her form into her mind, before standing up politely to make her exit. Early the next morning, she would make her long journey home and meditate to call her melon to her. Only then could she learn the true nature and strength of her ability. There was still a possibility that it would be stronger than her mother's.

Pae'il Name: Gulliver Power Category: Prodigy Chosen Power Name: "Robin Hood" w. Trick Arrows
Power Description: Gulliver has has quick reflexes with the bow, he is quick to load his arrow, and deadly on his accuracy. If he means to hit a target the chances of him hitting it are very high. He is also capable of creating special tips for his arrows which he can attach to his arrow from a utility belt he keeps on his pae. He has tips that include housing for (but are not limited to) poisons, sleeping drafts, smoke screen mixtures, or for housing a small explosive or an igniteable tip. He can do this without off-setting the weight of his arrow allowing it to still fly and hit it's mark with ease, he knows just how much weight he can add without a scale or special equipment.
Weakness: Gulliver cannot make the poisons, drafts, explosives or other additives himself, he must rely on others to make these for him. And he cannot simply rely on them to do it for nothing, he needs to help gather or collect items they will require. Gulliver's excellence in accuracy is in his benefit when the target is at a distance, close range (melle range) is his weak point.

Pae'il Name: Red Gemseed Parent 1's Name and Power: Big Mac - Bonded to the Ox Parent 2's Name and Power: Rarity - Gemstone Touch Combined Powers Element: Earth Power Category: Geomancer Chosen Power Name: Gem Seeds Power Description: Red can take gems (rubies, diamonds, etc) and grow them into colored flowers based on the color of said gem. The flowers serve no real purpose but have a distinct brighter/shinier look to them than normal flowers. Weakness: Fire...bad? They don't do any good except to look pretty. Finn can pull a shark from hammerspace, as if removing an arrow from an invisible quiver, and throw it over head by the tail like a hatchet.
This is useful as an offensive ability only, as the sharks have zero loyalty and do not possess the desire to cooperate. In fact, it pisses them off to be yanked outta nowhere and tossed at things. Which is why it's an effective weapon when thrown at an enemy. No one wants an angry shark thrown in their face.
Weakness:
The sharks don't really come from hammerspace. He's using a sort of teleportation technique to pull a shark from another place - usually the same plain Telrunya exists. Sometimes they are from an alternate plain, but when that happens, the sharks can be unpredictable and more likely bite him. Sharks are bitey Sharks don't like being thrown around If the shark isn't returned to water, it will die. So he'll have to collect any shark he threw and put it back. Or in any water. Tuatha'ri lake might become shark infested if he throws a lot of sharks in a fit of rage. Or gets drunk and shows off. Size, type, and originating locale are random. He doesn't fare to well when he pulls a nurse shark cuz all it does is squash him, because he's not that strong.

This learning is done via mental images. Weakness:
This ability will need to be trained in order to be controlled: he won't be able to control learning through kisses when he's a teenager, so he has to be careful who he kisses so he doesn't share the wrong information with the wrong pae. Bad breath can make kissing hard, neigh impossible The knowledge gained either way is limited to only knowledge that has already been learned, whether or not its correct. If a pae learns the alphabet out of order, that's the knowledge that will be shared. New knowledge cannot override previous knowledge: If Sealight knows the alphabet, but learns the mixed up one from the other pae, he still knows the proper alphabet, but also now knows the other pae likely can't read. If Sealight didn't already know the alphabet, it is likely he will learn the mixed up one and retain that. Knowledge Overload - he can transmit or receive too much information which can overload the mind or short circuit the brain and cause damage or drive them (or himself) insane. He won't be able to lie to his future mate.
