When you enter Reis' home, something doesn't seem right. You just swam into a home... yet it feels more like you went outside because you are now standing at the edge of an indoor kelp forest. You are going to have to navigate your way through this kelp-y maze in order to find the candy. It won't be too difficult to find your way, this is an event for children after all.
After navigating the kelp maze (somewhat bitterly--who would do such a thing to keep her from candy??), Xoana, dressed as a pumpkin with orange fabric loosely draped over her body and a green stem-hat on her head, swam up to the blue-and-green grown-up. Papa said that some grown-ups would give them candy tonight if they asked nicely and said the magic words. "Trick or treat please!" she exclaimed, holding her bag made of netting out.
Pippin looked on in confusion as she looked at the forest of kelp before her. Thankfully, she had grown up in the 'wilds' of a kelp forest before she had come to live in the city and was able to navigate through it with ease. She only got tangled up once! When she found the naiad hosting this one she asked for candy as she had before. "Trick or treat."
Žába swam up to the next booth, his third stop on the rounds for goodies happier since his last stop "Tricks or Treats" he held up his bag. The lil sprite was dressed up as a ghost.
The first house hadn't been that bad at all, so when she got to the second she moved to the front of the humble abode as before. But to her surprise, a pae wasn't waiting for her. It was an underwater jungle! Her eyes widened, surprised that such a thing would be inside a home. "H-hello?" Her wide pink eyes caught the flick of red tail. Another kid was going through the maze, she'd just follow her!
Happily stalking -ahem following- Pippin, she quickly got to the candy herself. The green haired girl said something peculiar then. A saying. Her mom hadn't mentioned anything about a password. "Trick...or...treat?" She squeaked out, unsure of herself.
Mentha giggled softly to himself as he followed more children to another home. This game of candy catching was fun! He idly wondered if kids did this every day! Who knew that asking for treats would be so easy!
He watched as kids floated right into the next home and he smiled, following them to the doorway.
But once there, he stopped. Frozen in fear and eyes wide at what he saw within.
Kelp... Not just a small cluster of kelp, though. That would have been bearable. This was an entire room - a maze! - of kelp!
He clutched his bowl closer to himself and whimpered, flicking his fin to take a step back. His first experience with the stuff had scarred him for life...
His pet Ananas did little to help. She nuzzled against his neck softly, but was unsure as to why the little Naiad child was so afraid of the room. She didn't want to press it though....
Unsure of what to say or do now - Mentha definitely didn't want to start crying with so many other children around - he held up his bowl at the doorway, hoping someone on the inside would see his small distressed figure and help him out.
((*I will roll for him - HOWEVER - if Reis doesn't respond to him or catch on/notice I will NOT be mad about him not ~getting~ candy here accordingly. I am PERFECTLY fine with him not getting any candy from this home if going through the maze is the requirement because he just won't be able to do it without freaking out and swimming off somewhere.... XD ~tortures her poor pae a little too much~ I actually love the idea of the maze! That's just plain awesome! <3*))
As Pippin swam out of the kelp maze, she noticed a boy waiting outside of it, holding his bowl up to it as if the maze would give him candy. "You're supposed to go through the seaweed, y'know?" The girl told him as she swam through it again. When she arrived in front of Reis, she waited around for a bit, but never saw the boy make it.
"There's a boy who isn't coming... can I bring him some candy? I won't keep it, honest."
When Reis obliged and gave Pippin some extra candy to bring the boy, she swam back out and held it out for him. "Here ya go." She grinned at him.
On her way out of the kelp maze--who even does that? she wondered again--she noticed the boy with the fish just sort of...hovering there. He was still there when she came back around. What was his problem? The maze wasn't that hard to get through.
"Hey!" she called to him. "I know the way through the maze! Follow me!" She made a "c'mere" motion with her hand and started through the maze. She peeked over her shoulder to see if he'd follow. Was he scared?
Seruta
Xoana wants to be Mentha's friend. She thinks it's cool he's got a fish.
This place was the maze! A bit of a determined glean appeared in the females eyes as she looked at it. This time, she'd get through WITHOUT help! But why was there a gathering of pae around the little green naiad? She slowly swam around them to get through the maze, which was much easier this time around.
Mentha bubbled sadly and backed up as one of the children attempted to gesture him follow her in the maze. He shook his head almost violently and whimpered, clutching his bowl again until another small hand dropped a piece of candy in his bowl.
He blinked, watching as the candy floated to the bottom of his bowl, then bubbled softly as he looked up to Pippin. She got him some treats? That was probably the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him! He smiled shyly and bubbled a bit in thanks.
((*Rolling again, because rolls... >>;*))

Menelie
Aww! He could use all the friends! <3 Poor kid is lonely. ;-;
Kelp? He had to work for this candy? Pssh... he waved it off and headed towards the next place.
Cept something in the back of his mind keep prickling that he should find out what was in there. Maybe that was where he'd get his bucket of candy from. Hmm
