Kelebek hadn't really set up a "booth" so much as it was her with an urn full of sweets. She'd gathered quite a few small, pretty shells from the lakebed too, for particularly shy or well-costumed children. Ordinarily she wouldn't have volunteered to participate in such a...public activity, but her sweet Pax and Xoana would be there, and she couldn't miss out on that! Besides, she loved seeing all the little ones swimming around like fat little tadpoles! She rarely had such a chance to leave her grotto any more.
She hadn't intended to wear a costume, but Anatolio had informed her that that was the "in" thing to do. So she'd ground some kelp into pigment and painted her skin to look like a skeleton. For a real scare, she could all but disappear! A floating urn and a skeleton naiad ought to do the trick!
But for now she just floated, smiling invitingly, waiting for her first trick-or-treater!
This was the first 'booth' she had gone up to that had actually been sort of spooky. So Pippin swam up to this one a lot slower than she had been going during the rest of the night. "Uhm... trick or treat." She said meekly looking up at the skeleton lady with large, now timid, eyes.
Žába swam up to the next booth, his next stop on the rounds for goodies "Tricks or Treats" he held up his bag. The lil sprite was dressed up as a ghost.
Aysel held her mothers hand meekly as they made their way out of the home they shared. As it was Halloween, many naiad's had decorated their little coves in an array of fancy colors. She herself had claws made of shells, painted red to make her into a lobster.
All too soon they arrived at the first booth, where she had to let go of her moms hand. She looked up at her mothers comforting smile before swimming out towards the skeleton naiad, holding out her little net. "...H-hi."
After nearly having a breakdown at the last house, the next stop was a lot easier on the small tot.
He smiled at Ananas, his pet fish, and bubbled softly before floating over to the Naiad lady with his bowl. Eager to gather more treats and catch up to the other children in the neighborhood, he bubbled hopefully up at her and held up his bowl.

Xoana, dressed as a pumpkin with orange fabric loosely draped over her body and a green stem-hat on her head, swam up excitedly to her grandma. "Hi Grandma K!" she exclaimed, holding out her net bag. "Trick or treat please!"
Now that Pippin had realized the skeleton naiad was just a costume and a normal naiad like everyone else, she approached her much more eagerly this time. "Trick or treat!"

"Grandma K! Look how much candy I got!" exclaimed Xoana as she swam excitedly up to her grandmother. "Everyone is super nice except for that purple guy who gave me a trick instead of candy. He's not supposed to do that, is he?" she asked with a pout. She held out her bag expectantly for her Grandma K.
Mentha flicked his fins back towards this home. With a little more confidence, he held up his bowl and bubbled his plea for more candy!

"GRAMMA!" Pax swam to catch up to her sister, losing the loosely attached thing she had used to make a fin on her head. "I meeted the lady on the fancy chair!" She had heard of her, but didn't remember her name. She gave Kelebek a big hug, getting a little of that pigment on her pumpkin costume.
Disappointed that he didn't get the whole bucket he asked for, Fin swam around to find others with candy treats. He saw a skeleton handing out candy, but hesitated. That was actually kind of scary. He side-eyed his brother and dad, worried to approach. But it hand candy. Could he maybe sneak over and just snatch a handful?
But those girly-girls weren't afraid. He took a deep breath, manned-up best a little child could man-up and swam to the skeleton.
It was a lady in a costume!
Relieved, he held out his candy bucket. "TRICK OR TREATS!"
"Hey, you're scared!" Pippin giggled at the, what she would call mean, little boy from before as she fearlessly went up to the skeleton painted naiad again for some more candy.
