"Mmhmm. It's more like a regular high school. Except with some demons... and random attacks from space pirates. Oh, and a neko girl or two" she said. She had heard the stories of the JuneBuggy ship from other students who had been to the Roxalis amusement park. She picked up her pop and took another drink. It had been so long since she had had a meal like this. She had left her house, oh... two months ago. And then the angels told her to go to Ria. She new she was going to have a great time here.

Then she looked out the window. The sun was sinking. The sky was beautiful, still. Very calm. It was a deep orange, with a few splotches of purple and yellow on the horizon. she loved how the sky looked all the time. Every time of day, it looked different. She especially loved sunsets and storms. The sunsets were the perfect mix of colors, and the storms were just so mysterious, even though they made her feel miserable. Maybe sometimes you needed to feel miserable to be happy in the future.

She took a deep breath and waited. She knew hiccups were coming soon, she could just tell. So she took a deep breath and another sip of pop. Then, hopefully, the bubbles would make them go away. Or make them worse. Either way, hiccups were hiccups. She closed her eyes and smiled. Maybe he wouldn't notice that she wasn't breathing. To mask it, she took another bite of pasta and moved the held breath into her throat. A few more people had wandered into the dining hall, but it was still quite empty. It was probably always like this, seeing as though such an odd bunch of students came to this school. Some ate regularly, others just ate when they were hungry, and still others ate only at night. She had to remember that demons and vampires came to this school as well. Many nocturnal creatures.

Then she looked out the window again. The first few stars shown brightly. One of them being Venus. The Earth's twin, so some people called it. But it actually looked nothing like the earth. The Earth was beautiful from space. Venus looked beautiful as well, but in a different way. Earth was beautiful because at any moment, you could look at the Earth and know that somewhere on the planet, there was someone there, worrying, crying, being happy, or even just waiting for an emotion to come.

Venus on the otherhand, was beautiful because you could look at it and know that it was devoid of all life. It's a hot planet. Hot enough to melt lead on the surface. It's atmosphere is mostly a mixture of sulphuric gas and carbon dioxide, so no oxygen breathing animals could live there, and water would most likely become gas if it broke the atmosphere. Venus was beautiful because it was empty. The emptiness of the entire Universe, let alone the solar system, made the entire experience of living beautiful. Because you knew that you were most likely alone, with 6 billion other people, and trillions of other living organisms. Life was beautiful.

Then she opened her eyes. In the midst of thinking about all of this, she had lost her hiccups. (thankfully) She blushed and got back to eating her pasta. It was almost gone, and then she could start on her dessert. It hadn't lost any of the temperature, not even the Ice cream, which would have melted otherwise. The Rian scientists were brilliant.

Rowan smiled at Leon, not really knowing what he was talking about. "I don't fight much, so I don't really have to deal with anything like that..." Looking down she patted her book. "I should get back to my dorm room. It's getting late, and I need to do a bit of reading before sleep." Standing, Rowan smiled again at Leon and made her way to the door.

Lancaster smiled and nodded at what Bijou said. Yes, he was at fault...this place was a normal school...just had a few quirks. He looked up at the sky, blinking as he noticed the sun fadding from the sky.

He reatched up at his hair pulling a strand and counting the seconds it took to pull it down....he then looked at it. Oh no....it was already a deep brown, and had lengthened. It was impossible for anyone not to notice the change in it now. Soon the sun had faded from the sky intirely. He himself now looked completely different (view night form), his hair was raven black, his eyes gold, his hight was the same but his voice and complexion had changed. Could it be that his canines had also chaged?

He blinked, there was nothing he could do but continue to play along finishing his pasta and had moved to his cake. He sighed and sat quietly as he ate without another word being said.

Eri finished her food and stood up. She looked over at Keila."Want me to take your tray too?" she asked. She was bored so intead of just crrying her own tray it was floating beside her damaged arm which looked like dead weight on her.The pain was gone and now there was a numbness.The same numbness she fekt when she got burned.

Keilantra opened her eyes and nodded.Looking around she spotted Eden.Her eyes widened as she quickly stood up.Joggy over to her she gave her a hug before even sitting down."Hi Ed!!"She said excitedly since she hadn't seen her in awhile.She sat down next to her bounced in her seat again, trying to entertain herself.

"It's fine.Just hurt it alittle last night." she said to Ryuu.Eri focused on Keila's tray and soon it was floating along side her own. "Be right back." she said.Eri walked off with the trays floating right along side of her.

"I told you, I'm okay." she said.She was starting to lose her concentratin and the trays were slowly starting to drop."Besides....It's already numb inside.I feel no pain now. So I see no need to fix it."She stopped and turned toward Ryuu." It's very sweet of you to care about me." she said. Eri leaned closer to him ad gave him a kiss on the cheek. She turned back around and kept on walking.

Ryuu stayed paralyzed for a second. What just happened? he thought. Ryuu's face also turned a little red. He says to Eri, "At least let me do this." He took her arm and checked for the bone. Then me moved his arm up and then moved it in a circle until he was sure the bones were bound. "That way the arm won't hurt anymore no matter how much you move it!" he said with a smile.
