The Dining Hall V. 2.0 (The Cafeterias new name XD)
The Dining Hall, going along with the classy theme of Ria High, is of much higher quality than any average school's Dining Hall. Booths that line the walls of this rather large eating space have nice cushioned seats that alternate colors between blue and green. One of the walls is composed of large windows that extend up the ceiling. The glass is tinted so that one from the outside wouldn't be able to see inside. There is a door located on that wall that will lead to the outside where more tables are available. The food is always very good quality, something the teachers and not the students demanded in order to prevent food fights. If the food isk good, who would throw it? That of course doesn't mean food fights never happened.
Tables of various lengths and sizes filled up the rest of the space in the Hall. There were individual seats at each table so all who ate in the cafeteria had the convenience of pulling themselves closer to the table. Above, large orbs of light hung from the ceiling. A fireplace is located in the center of each large wall (except the glass one) that would radiate heat during the cold seasons. Food is purchased through their ID card. All they have to do is just slide the card, tell the machine and order, and their food will be taken care of. - SakuraBaby

Butterfly came into the dining room hall that early morning. Finding the place nearly empty as she came in. Well, many probably wouldn't be up this early in the morning either. Slowly she makes her way towards the machine to get her breakfast pulling out her Student ID card. Her vibrant red hair was flowing past her shoulders like a river she had yet to put it up in a pony tail. Her hair was rather long going down to the lowest part of her back. Upon coming to the machine she slid the card through smoothly before putting it back in her coat pocket.
"a cup of orange juice, scramble eggs, suasage, and a few slices of orange..' Butterfly ordered softly to the machine.
It started to beep filling out the order and such. Butterfly wasn't much excited that morning considering how she had treated the three students yesterday before leaving. She sighed to herself as she waited calmly for her food. She knew she shouldn't have simply walked out like that but...they were getting on a very touchy subject with her. One she wished she could simply make it vanish but that would never happen as long as she lived. A plate came out with the food she ordered and a cup of orange juice. Taking the plate and glass she walked over to one of the very large glass windows and sat down at a table that was circular shape. Making sure to be at one that was empty.

Nayru pounced through the door all scruffed, and scratched up; but with a sweet happy smile on her face. "Goodmorning World!" she said with much energy as she had and sighed a breath of fresh air second before the door slammed behind her. "Training awaits me, I dont have a moment to waste! Time to eat!" she smiled as she skipped down a pathway through the booths and tables towards the vending machine, not noticing Butterfly near a window at a table.
She skipped up to the large machine and took out her student card, ready to put it in. Just as she reached out with the card in her hands, she stopped then got a grin over her face. "Training can continue even during breakfast!" she shouted, jumped about 2 meters back from the machine. She took her id card between her 2 fingers and and wipped it at the machine to get it into the sliding slot, like throwing a skuriken. Of course it didnt even make it close to the machine and just floated around in the air, inches away from her.
".... I shall try this later.." she said with a frusterated vien pulsing as she watched the card float to the ground. Slipping the card through, she chose a super size bowl of ramen, then carried it back towards a table before noticing that Butterfly was sitting at a window far off.
"Butterfly!!" she said giggling, then ran over to sit on the other side of the table, slamming her large bowl down on the table. "Hi!!"

Butterfly was picking at the eggs she ordered when hearing the doors slam opened. Not even bothering to look to see whom it was considering she could practical guess by the way the person had entered. And only hearing the voice confirmed what she already knew. It was miss Nayru the young girl that wished to follow her fathers foot steps. She nibbled at the piece of egg in her mouth keeping her thoughts and comments to herself. Trying her best to not draw attention by being a loner. But, she had an instinct feeling that it wasn't going to last long.
Just after that feeling she heard miss Nayru call out her nickname loud enough for the entire cafeteria to hear. Making sure to not jump when the girl had literally slammed down into the seat opposite of her with the bowl of ramen. Something soooo unhealthy for a person. But, again she kept her comments to herself while swallowing the piece of scramble eggs in her mouth. Not speaking till the food was gone from her mouth.
'...Morning, miss Nayru..' she softly spoke while reaching for her cup of orange juice.

Nayru had already started slurping up ramen before Butterfly could even say somthing, but quickly stopping with long rows of noodles hanging out of her mouth when Butterfly addressed her. Nayru looked up at her over her glasses and blinked innocently a few times, then winked at her, giggling and slurping up the rest of the noodles in her mouth.
"Goodmorning Butterfly!" she smiled with a playful and energetic smile, "Are you feeling awsome this morning?"
Nayru, closer up looked really roughed up. Her hair was in strands everywhere, she looked like she had abit of a black eye, scratches covered her skin and a cut was slashed across her cheek; yet, none of this bothered her, she just kept smiling, full of life.

Butterfly paused at picking with another piece of egg on her plate. Considering how to answer that question. Certiantly not 'awesome' she never felt like that these days. Actually, she didn't feel much of anything these days. Forking up the eggs she chewed them down slowly making sure none were too big to choke her. Then reaching over and taking a small sip from her drink. She hadn't even started with her suasage and orange yet.
"I'm.....' she paused rethinking her respone several times. "....fuctional..'
That wasn't such a great response not telling miss Nayru wether she was having a good day or a bad one. But simply stating the fact that she was doing well enough to get up that morning and start to head out to face the world of today instead of going out and hiding in a corner sulking.

Nayru pondered the meaning of that putting her finger to her lip with a chibi blush on her cheek, "..functional..?" she whispered to herself.
"Um..... Butterfly, are you a robot in disguise?" she asked intuitively and cutely, giving an interested look on her face, as she nibbled some noodles.
Her cut slowly started to bleed again, as a drop of blood rolled down her cheek and plopped right into her noodles. Noticing instantly, she looked down at her noodles and stared blankly. "........" she paused, then shrugged and started slurping noodles up again with a happy grin.

Being a robot would certiantly be whole much better then being a creature that can feel all the emotions that the mind and body can create. At least being a robot none would have to experience such beautiful, aweful, hurtful things known as emotions. It was only a matter of time now till she starts growing numb to them she couldn't wait till that day arrives.
"No," Butterfly answers simply in a single word answer.
Finally finishing her scrambled eggs and moved on to the three pieces of suasage she had. Cutting them each up to slices and eating one slice at a time. It was obvious that Butterfly was the type of person that liked to take things slow and smoothly. As if she cherished every second of the day that goes by her not wanting to put a single one to waste.
"Tis thou continously so spiritful?' she asks to try to change the subject to a more lightful topic.

"HAI!" she belt out and giggled with blushing cheeks. "I dont have anything to be sad about anymore!" she cheered, "Its a wonderful thing to feel free, and its even better if I work hard and left my spirit out! Its like taking a breath of fresh air every moment of your life!" adding a thumbs up to Butterfly.
"I cant wait to get back to training! The more I work at it, the better I become!" she said with energy, "No matter how many times I fall, I know that I'll always have another chance to stand back up! I just have to work hard at it and learn from falling so I wont fall anymore!" she said as she wiped the blood collecting on her cheek. "The more I fall, the closer I become to being the best ninja in the world!" she sighed happy and wiped her hand on the seat.
"Don't you feel the same Butterfly?" she said, smiling sweetly a her, "or is there another reason why you came here?"

The second suasage was all cut up now for her to start eating that slice by slice. Listening to the long answer miss Nayru gave her to a simple question that could've been answered by a simple yes or no. Butterfly had a distinct feeling that miss Nayru always has to explain the reason for her answer. But...there was nothing wrong with that. Not really. For someone like Butterfly whom enjoyed the day to go by slow, steady, and almost quietly it could be annoying sometimes. It was something Butterfly would have to get to though if miss Nayru was about. It wasn't a bad thing to learn when it comes to gaining more patience. Coming to a stop to everything she was doing when that question came back at her like yesterday. But, this time she couldn't exactly walk away and turn her back upon miss Nayru this time.
"To break the chains that reign me down.' Butterfly answered again in another form of metaphor and riddle.
And again it also did not really tell miss Nayru the reasons of which she came. But the simply aspect that she was to tare herself away from something or at least is gaining the power and knowledge to do so. But from what is what was left unspoken by her answer.
((brb i have to eat lunch))

She sighed happy and smiled sweetly, but this was different, as there was a seriousness to her look. "I understand."
She then stayed quiet after saying only those 2 words and began eating her ramen normally with her chopsticks, at a very slower pace than she had been keeping up. Not only that, but she was staring down into her noodles, deep in thought as she ate.
She looked up with her serious smile at Butterfly, "I look like a kid, but dont misunderstand me. I follow my path to light, to become a hero that everyone can look up to. I want everyone to feel as happy as I do and show.. because it is an unbelieveable feeling. It is so strong that it drowns out every bad feeling you might have." she said as she put her fist over her heart, "because thats my dream."
Nayru blinked a few times, then blushed shyly and looked away out the window. "S-sorry... I'm talking about weird things." she said, smiling as she watched a wind blow across the sun lit courtyard, rustling the trees and their shadows.

Butterfly finished off the sausage and easily devoured the slices of oranges considering it wasn't that difficult to eat them to begin with. The sudden silence between the two of them brought an air of uneasiness to the table. Since she had met miss Nayru it hasn't been this quiet and now that it was it was disturbing to her more then ever. Her mouth opened to speak only to have miss Nayru start speaking before she could even get out a sound.
Lifting her head up she watched miss Nayru as she spoke taking every word to heart. It amazed her how people could be so vibrant and alive in a world of such darkness, hatred, greed, and death. Miss Nayru had to be one of the fewest people left upon the face of the planet that looked at everything in a postive force and approached it as if it was a gate way to a new adventure as another step towards her goal. That was rare these days. There was a moment of silence once more after the speech.
"Nothing tis weird when it comes to thou speaking of a goal." Butterfly spoke softly. "Thou see's future so clearly that thou can take on anything that comes thou's way. I on the other hand shant have anything of such manner."
There was another moment of pause as she took a sip of her orange juice. "Thou asked what was it that I lost. I have lost a home and a family within a single day."

Still staring out the window, her eyes cringed from hearing that. "I see.." she said calmly as she sucked up a noodle. "I'm sorry to hear that."
She dropped her chopsticks into the empty ramen bowl, looked into Butterflies eyes with a consentrating stare, as if she was reading Butterfly's mind. She almost didnt seem like she was a kid at all now.
"You know just because I'm young, people mistake me for a simple minded unexperienced kid. I've felt hurt before that most people havent felt. Thats why I go out to be someone that protects people from hurt, because I want to stop bad things from happening..things like what happened to you and me. Without my goal, I would have given up a long time ago.. All I needed was an example to show me the way.. My dad." she said straight from her heart, "If you dont want to say what happened, I understand farther than you know."
She sighed and scretched her arms out, smiling happy. "That felt nice... I'm glad I got that off my chest... like a breath of fresh air."
Her eyes shined with adventurous spirit begin them as she looked over her glasses at Butterfly, then out the window.

"..Shant us all have a child within?" Butterfly asked softly.
She knew that everyone had a childish sort of side within them somewhere. It just that most people have locked that part of them away from themselves. Butterfly's had been taken away from her by another and hasn't regain it since.
"My father was very much like thou's father. Mine served in a great war known as the Blood War. After the war documents were 'supposely' found indicating that my father was a traitor to his nation and people. Shant long after that when men came to our home. I was eight at the time my twin and little brother were in the main room playing when they came storming inside our house." There was a pause as Butterfly stared off distancely into her orange juice. "I shant forget the way my mother and sister screamed when the men raped them. Nor the way they cut my little brother and father up while they were alive. Flames ate away at our house by will alone I had managed to crawl out of the burning house. That was eight years ago..but it still feels like yesterday."
Butterfly reached up and remove the leather collar she wore around her neck all the time beneath it there was a long visible scar running from one side of the neck to the other.
"They attempted to slit my throat and leave me for dead..but I managed to survive..barely. Since then i have been living at an orphanage till now.'

Nayru smiled and nodded at Butterfly, understanding what the feeling would be like. Deep down in her mind somthing else was happening though, speeding her heart up. "What a horrible thing... I'm glad you survived though.."
After a few moments of silence, while Nayru was comprehending the story, she Yelped at the top of her lungs and grabbed her right hand in pain. She looked extremely startled as her breath shortened as she began to hyperventalate. Slowly she calmed down, still holding onto the center of her hand, softly telling herself over and over that it was only pain.
She blushed panically spouted, "I-it's ju-just a.. a b-broken bone thing..." then sat on her hand. "Ahmm...." she said blushing and trying to calm herself down and smiled through the pain. "Once I become the best ninja in the world... my name will be known everywhere... and people like that will know they can't hide from my justice.."
