Grim Reaper 'Death'
The skeleton clad in black sat stiffly upon his haunches, maggot covered ears pined back against its black hood. The glowing blue orbs within his eye socket were much dimer then normal as they seemed unfocused, the Reaper was no concentrating upon anything before him. "Darn girl scouts." he muttered, before lifting a forepaw and stuffing a cookie into his boney jaws. "Mm-so-mmb-pushy."
Death's bone tails cracked and snaped as he slowly got to his feet, scarfing down the last of the cookies. He have to remember to threaten those girl scouts next time insead of giving in and buying some of their darn cookies. Though the cookies had actually been pretty good. Not as good as those greeasy burgers, dripping with fat and, oh now he was making himself hungry.
Wrapping his tails around the handle of his scythe which lay next to him, he slowly began to make his way off though the trees. Silently he wandered, there was a certain 'appointment' he did not want to miss.

Sigurd
Sigurd cheerfully walked down the dirt path towards HQ. His little tails swayed happily behind him in unison. It was a nice day today. The sun was beaming and almost no clouds in sight. The sky was clear and blue. Ah, this was the weather he enjoyed most.
His eyes wandered around the flora all about as he wandered down the path. Trees were growing everywhere, and the fresh scent of grass was in the air, too. Such a nice place.

The sun gleemed in the Reaper's face, making his skull look quite washed and worn. He scowled as the sunlight pooled over his entire body, if he had fur he'd have certainly been sweating. Gently he pulled his hood down, so that only the glowing blue orbs could be seen from beneath the shadows. Girl scouts always put him in a rather 'iffy' mood.
Soon enough he trudged past a young kit, paying it no mind until something clicked. He paused, turning his head as he looked back at the kid. He seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. Then again being death personified, one did see a lot of faces, and sooner or later you'd run into to someone that looked like another.
Slowly he turned walking back, closer to the kid.

Sigurd
The young kit paid no mind to the grim reaper as he passed him by. His mother would be disappointed if she ever knew about this. She didn't train him daily just so he can pass by others without knowing they were there. But, he was still young. He still had plenty of time to sharpen his skills. Plus, his mother had the advantage of time. Even though he was a quick learner, he still needed time.
He could feel the hot sun beaming down on him more and more. Certainly wearing a sweater in such heat didn't help. He decided to take a short detour in the shade, resting for a bit. Even if it was a nice day, he'd rather not get a heat stroke.

Bess
Bess walked along enjoying the sun as it shone down onto her and the small area around her. As she looked ahead of her she caught a glance of what looked like a black cloaked kitsu, and decided to approach the other. "They must be hot in this weather," she though to herself as she got closer and then stopped.
As she got closer she soon caught sight of three bone like whips, which she thought had to be the tails. Backing off a bit she decided to follow the kitsu, since she was just walking in the same direction and thought nothing more of it then a coincidence. And she was too keen on the idea of a walking skeleton, iif it was one.

The male followed slowly behind the kit, somewhat amused that the creature seemed to have a sword upon his belt. It was not often that he came across one so young to be carrying a weapon, or at least not anymore in the current times. The young one didn't seem to notice him and Death didn't quite care for the moment.
A grin peeled onto his face as he watched the young one wander into the shade, clearly to rest out of the beeming sunlight.
He lifted a paw to walk up the child, but soon heard something from behind. Ears swiveled, a maggot holding on to the tip of his left ear for dear life. "Yes~" came a rather haunting voice, as he turned his head to get a look at the one who was behind him.

Sigurd
For a while he could see an adult kitsu coming towards his say. She, or at least he believed it was a female wore a blue and rather frilly dress. Her long black hair swayed in the gentle breeze. She seemed harmless, but looks could be deceiving. The young male kept his guard up, though didn't show it up front.
It wasn't until the Grim Reaper spoke that Sigurd noticed him. He jumped at the haunting voice. The kitsu--if it even was one had a rather grotesque sight. He looked as if he walked among the dead. A black robe and maggots crawling out of its ears. This was the appearance of a typical undead. He was those his mother warned him about, but he never thought he'd see one here. Rather than draw its attention any more than necessary, the young kit sat there silently and alertly with one paw close to his sword.

Bess
Bess stopped as the cloaked figure turned and looked at her. Seeing the maggots crawl out of his ears made her shudder for a second before she returned to reality. "Huh. Oh nothing," she said as she looked into the other kitsu's blue eyes. "It just seems that you and I are heading in the same direction, and such..."
She still felt kind of awkward talking to a kitsu that resembled a skeleton so much, it gave her the goose bumps. She didn't want to sound rude, or frightened but it was so hard for her because she seemed to be looking at death face-to-face once again.

Ears swished back at an almost silent sound, so the kid had finally noticed him. He soon returned his attention to the female. Heading in the same direction hm? Well made enough sense, though as far as he could tell he did seem to be making her uneasy. Not a very hard feat, but still he hadn't really done so in a while. "If you say so."
He turned to the young one, glancing down and noticing the kit's paw near to that sword he carried around. "That sword wont do much." he spoke dryly, slowly lifting his tails up, tightening his grip upon his scythe. "And I honestly doubt you'd be of any match against my scythe." Death let out a booming laugh, sure he wouldn't hurt the kid, though that wouldn't stop him from trying to scare the little guy.

Sigurd
Death's words rang true in his ears, but regardless he kept his stance. His mother would not tell him lies about such serious matters. An undead was an enemy of theirs. Even if the cloaked one had a major advantage over him, Sigurd would not give in quite yet. He would rather go home with scraps all over him than to know he surrendered.
Bess
After taking a deep breath Bess started to head toward the where the cloaked Kitsu was to see who he was talking to.
Walking toward the figure she stopped across from them for a second and saw who he was talking to. The other Kitsu she spotted seemed to be dressed in a rather interesting attire. Seeing as he had on a sweater in this kind of heat and sword strapped to his side. At the same time she caught of the cloaked kitsu's scythe and knew now he was a probably death himself. "Oh well, it's not like I haven't seen death before," though Bess to herself.

Grim Reaper 'Death'
A grin found its way to the skeleton's maw. "Admirable." he uttered as he stretched out his paws, his bones rubbing against each other creating cracking sounds. "You should be happy that you are not the reason I'm here." he paused, his eyes narrowing. "Though I'd be careful, you never know when your time may come." a chuckle passed his jaws.
His scythe was lowered, his tails curling the blade around his front.
