The angelic sighed, folding her brown wings as she climbed up the steps to the HQ. How she hated flying, flapping her wings like a bird who had been wounded. How she envied those who could fly so gracefully, always in full control of their wings. Sure, she was an angelic, a kitsu born with wings and the gift of flight, but still... She feels queasy at tall altitudes, such as when she is flying, and thus, her control over her own wings is... Well, a lot less than perfect.
Okay, fine, this angelic has a phobia of heights.
Adamina sighed again as she pushed open the double doors of the HQ, peeking in for the first time. Had anyone seen her clumsy landing? The way she had tripped over her own paws as her feet touched the ground when she was descending from the sky? And the somerset she had performed due to that trip?
"Anyone in here?" She asked softly, feeling her face burn as she strolled to the nearest couch. At least she thinks that nobody saw that.

 The snowy Angelic had seated himself upon one of the couches and had been laying there for quite some time. Unmoving. He was upside down, his rump against the back cushions, while his head rested upon the seat, tails stuck up in the air. His double coloured eyes were shut, as his blue halo bobed up and down through the air. He seemed rather at peace for once.
It had been so long since he had been indoors. Ever since he had left home, he wasn't even sure why he had done it now. It seemed like so long ago, and really it had been.
The sound of a soft gentle voice rang through his ears, causing the male to twitch slightly. Slowly his eyes opened as he rolled over onto his stomach, head turning towards the door. He blinked as he spotted a brown angelic slowly wandering over to one of the couches. He quickly jumped down, giving his pink wings a quick stretch before slowly made his way towards the female. "Hul'o." he spoke, his voice rather gentle sounding.

The brown angelic gasped at the voice, and fell backwards, landing heavily on her bottom, tails spread out behind her like an open fan. She winched to herself, more at how clumsy she was than at the pain, and groaned as she picked herself up from the cold floor. There she goes again... She must be born with three left limbs, and a dysfunctional limb-brain coordination to boost. Her face burned even more as she tried to regain her composure, turning around to see the one who had addressed her.
Oh no... Why must it be another angelic?
"He... Hello..." She stammered, trying to contain her embarrassment as she took a step towards the speaker. Had he seen her earlier 'display'? Was he laughing at her silently? She had missed him, when she was looking around the room just now. What a mistake it turned out to be... She gulped, offering a nervous smile.
"How... How long had you been here?"

The male's ears shifted back as the female fell backwards. His head lowered slightly, oh he hadn't ment to startle her. Oh, shame, shame, shame. Perhaps he should have waited for her to notice him before saying anything. How he hated starttling people, he always felt so guilty afterwards. A blueish-white paw came down gently upon the floor as he took a step towards her. "Are y'u alrigh'?" he asked, a rather appologetic look plastered upon his face.
This would hopefully be the last time he'd startle anyone.
"H'w long?" he reapted, canting his head to the side. He turned his gaze back to the couch he had been laying upon before his gaze yet again shifted, this time upwards towards the ceiling. "Qu'te s'me time now, I'sup'ose." Niveus looked back at her, she had double coloured eyes as well it seemed, not to mention they were rather bright. The Angelic's eyes soon darted down, keeping eye contact was never one of his strong points. "I w's ov'r on th' couch there." he spoke pointing to the couch.

The female suppressed a strong urge to give herself a knock on the head with her paw, as well as the urge to run out of the HQ and disappear into the ground. He had been here for 'quite some time' now? She tried to look into the other's eyes, but he didn't seem to be paying attention. That was a good sign, right? Well, maybe he hadn't seen anything after all! The edges of her mouth twitched up, seemingly happier than before.
"Yes, I'm alright," Adamina nodded gratefully, halo bobbing up and down with her head. She sat down, her head tilted, memories of her earlier worries vanished as she tried not to remind the other angelic about what he had seen; the tripping in the HQ. Now, she was sure that he had noticed that, although he had not teased her about it.
"Well... Uh... I'm Adamina," She introduced, gesturing at herself. "You are?"

His gaze shifted back up to the female before darting back down again. Clearly his long venture hadn't caused him to be any less shy, then again he was actually talking to someone, so maybe it had...Though it didn't seem to be by much. Pink and black bangs rolled down into the Angelic's face, covering his blue eye and only leaving his pink one visible.
"Oh! Sor'y." he spoke with a slight nod of his head. "I'm Niveus." how stupid, he had forgotten to introduce himself, this meeting was not going all that great. Where were his manners...He hadn't been gone so long that he'd forgotten them!
"Ar' y' new 'round 'ere?" he questioned, his accent chopping the words as he attempted to keep eye contact. What kind of question was that? She could have been coming around the HQ for months and he wouldn't have known, seeing as it was he who had been gone for so long. It almost felt as though he was new around these parts.

"New?" Adamina echoed, musing over the words as she closed her eyes. Yes, she is new... This was her first time coming to the HQ, and she was supposed to reach it earlier, if not for the fact that... Bah, it was embarrassing. First, she got lost, then, her foot got stuck on the canopy of a tree in an attempt to fly closer to the ground, then, just as she had freed herself, a gust of wind had thrown her off balance and she had ended up back on the tree, her wings being the new victim.
"Yes, I guess I am," She finally announced, her tone made it sound like she had just answered an intelligent question, and was feeling proud of it. Blinking at the male, she smiled. She had just noticed his eyes... They were like hers, for each had a different color. It seems that he was finally willing to look her in the eyes, something she liked. Remaining eye contact made her feel better, like she wasn't being offensive or anything to make the other not want to look at her.
"Niveus? That's a nice name." She chirped, "Have you been around for long? It is always this empty?" She took another glance around the room, wondering if she had missed somebody again.

The snowy Angelic blushed as she complimented his name. He wasn't used to compliments, not at all. Well unless you could call what his brother spoke of to him 'compliments', he much prefered to refer to them as 'crazy ramblings'. He did love his brother though, he wouldn't have been able to get though life without his twin, though he was the reason for some of Niveus' stress at times.
His doubled coloured eyes blinked, shifting down before back up at her. "Y'ah I supp'se I 'ave." the male gave a gentle nod. "Th'ugh I 'aven't been aron' much. I've be'n...aw'y...I'm sure m' twin isn't to' 'appy abo't that..." his voiced trailed off, as his ears pined back against his skull. That seemed to be the best way he could described things, for the time being anyways.
A single ear perked, as his gaze darted about the room. "S'metimes." he uttered quietly. "Though it do's get busy ev'ry now an' th'n."

"Oh... You have a twin?" Adamina exclaimed, her voice went off-pitched and she squeaked when she said 'twin'. Her eyes widened as she placed her paws over her maw, ears upright in surprise as she looked away from Niveus, clearly feeling silly at her action. Giving a grin, she laughed nervously as she tried to relieve herself from the previous episode, "Er... You didn't hear anything? It's all in your imagination!"
"Looks like I came at the wrong time then." She winched a moment later, eyes darting about the room again as she remembered the events that led to her being 'late'. Somehow, she had a feeling that her new friend is better off not knowing what had happened to her... Maybe, it's good that she came at a 'bad' time, since nobody would be around to witness her antics. She then frowned worriedly, looking about the room, but soon regained her radiant expression.
"Is your twin here? Or is he coming? Or is he not coming at all?"

The male gave a slight nod, as Adamina asked about his twin, his ears twitching as she had spoken the word 'twin'. The female's voice had squeaked, and she quickly tried to cover it up with questioning if he had heard it and that it was all in his imagination. A rather cute way of covering up a simple off-pitched squeak. Niveus couldn't help but smile a little, though it the smile didn't last too long. The Angelic barely smiled after all, it felt kind of weird. "All m' imag'ntion. Righ'."
The Angelic soon gave a shake of his head. His twin wasn't coming..Not that he knew of, but the two hadn't spoken for months, so for all he knew his brother could have been on his way to the HQ as he and Adamina spoke. "'e's not 'ere." he began, with a swish of his blue spotted tails. "I don' know if 'e'd be coming 'ere or not. Hav't spok'n to 'im in mo'ths." A fact that was his fault, something he was rather regreating now, but it wasn't something he could change. What was done was done, and he couldn't do a thing about it. Hopefully the two of them would still be as close as they had been before. He didn't want his dissapearance to chance things with his twin.
"....So, y'ah, 'm not sure."

"Oh, I see..." Adamina replied, blinking as she tilted her head to a side, deep in thought. A twin... She wonders how it's like to have someone who looks like you. Probably rather confusing for others, Adamina thought, frowning a little as she tried to imagine another Niveus. Appearance-wise, this twin will probably resemble her new friend, but what about...
"His character? What is he like? He looks like you, right?" She asked curiously, tails swishing behind her as she allowed them to 'sweep' the floor, a bad habit of hers; she'll have trouble cleaning them up later, especially since she was sure she had stepped on something sticky on the steps. Silently, she hoped that it isn't chewing gum, or she'll be up all night.

Niveus blinked, a bit taken aback at the female's question. He had never really been asked about his twin before, well except for that time when he had gotten captured and was interogated, though that was before this new form. A long long time ago. Something he was not going to think about now.
The male gave his head a shake, shutting his eyes for a moment.
"He's....diff'rent.." he uttered, opening back his eyes. Different was certainly one way of describing Pullus. Psychotic would have been a better term, but different worked. "Ki'd of obsess've though." not to mention the nightmare loving Angelic's one tracked mind, complete disreaguard for another's personal space, among other things.
The Angelic gave a nod. "Yeah, 'e looks lik' me." Slowly he coiled one tail around his left forepaw. "S'me makings, build 'nd such. He's m're o' a sandy col'ur tho'gh. An' his eyes ar' like mine bu' swi'ched."

Adamina listened, nodding once in a while to show that she was paying attention. So, she was right! They do look similar! Wait, that just means that she'll have a hard time telling them apart, despite the differences they might have... Taking note of the appearances, she muttered softly to herself in a bid to commit it to memory, "Niveus is snowy, twin is sandy... Eyes are switched..."
Nodding to herself triumphantly like she had just won a prize, Adamina smiled, then let out a gasp. She had forgotten the most important question is regards to this matter. She lowered her head, bangs falling over her eyes as she gave her forehead a light smack. Removing her paw, she regained eye-contact with the male.
"Er... What's his name?"

 [ -so had to shove him into this post 'cause it was the perfect tackling moment- XD ]
Pullus grunted as flew loops in the sky. The sandy Angelic was bored out of his mind, no one was around to bother, and he hadn't spotted anyone on the ground or in the sky for hours. He was starting to give up on finding anyone to pester, or throw nightmares at. A frown formed upon his face as his ears shifted back. Maybe he should try the HQ? But that place was always so cluttered, or busy, or empty. Either way, he much prefered the out doors. Still anything seemed better then hanging around all alone.
Not that there was anything wrong with sitting flying around by yourself.
Niveus's ears rotated forward at the sound of a creek. Probably just the door opening or something. Nothing to important to regard. "'is name?" he repeated, shifted the weight upon his paws. "His name is Pul-"
"-TRISTIS!" Pullus voice rang out as he wandered into the HQ, quickly tackling his twin. He had finally found him! After all those months. It was about time!
Standing atop his fallen brother he blinked, his gaze soon flicking to the side. Who was the girl? "Uhhh --'ello."

Adamina had not expected anyone to fly out of nowhere like that. Due to the on-going conversation with Niveus, she did not even realize that someone had entered the HQ... All this added up to her jumping backwards in fright, thus tripping over her own tails as she did not have eyes at the back of her head. Therefore, even though the other angelic was the one being tackled, she ended up lying down the the floor too, directly opposite the two brothers as her head swayed to and fro uncontrollably, her world spinning round and round.
It took her a while to regain her senses, but she did hear the question posted to her. Trying to stand still, Adamina steadied herself as she sat heavily on the floor.
"Er... Hi," She stammered, wondering if she was still giddy as she was seeing double. Oh wait, this must be that twin Niveus was talking about! All at once, she became excited, wagging her three tails like a delighted puppy as she let out a grin before she continued, "You must be Niveus' twin, Pul... Er, Pul... Tristis? I'm Adamina!"
She was sure those two words came from two different directions, but somehow, she was also sure that it came from the same person. The falling had done her no good...
