He could feel the Chaos dogging at his heels. The hallucinations were too much. The need to rest was too much. He couldn't resist the Chaos anymore. It called to him, puppeted his loved ones (or at least, someone he'd once considered a loved one) to entice him into resting, and it finally worked. Exhausted, he simply slumped to the ground. Closed his eyes. And rested.

It was still air. He needed to ignore the Avery at his side, the concern that exuded from his old friend, his only friend, his long-gone friend. It wasn't real. But damn, how he wanted to meet him again. Laying down would be so easy. The rallying cry from that redhead a few yards away reached his ears and he forced himself to straighten. He could not let himself succumb. He picked up another rock and hurled it at the creature, smirking at the thunk sound of it hitting home. Good.

Quote: Sailor Monoceros leaps up to the bad guy, getting close, before letting loose a burst of quills from his entire body. (Allies beware!) The Burst is less aim-controlled than the Flash, but more intense. These quills will likely puncture more deeply from being close up and attempts to remove the quills before disappearance will cause a sharp, hot pain where the quill is pinned, and a more dull ache in the surrounding area, making the muscles more sore. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last about 30 seconds and can be used twice per battle.

Quote: A deafening silence settles over everyone within a ten foot radius. Shortly after the silence falls, two deep barks echo through the area, and suddenly every enemy within the radius feels like they are being watched by a large, dangerous creature. The silence can be disorienting; no matter how loud anything is, while the magic is in effect they cannot hear anything but the barks—and maybe the sound of something heavy breathing just behind them. Or worse, breathing on the back of their neck. Paranoia, anxiety and intense fear for the invisible threat are prominent for the duration of the magic, and may persist for longer if the player desires. This attack affects all enemies within fifteen feet and lasts for thirty seconds; it can be used twice per battle.

BOSS HP: 357/2500It was a constant rain of magic and weapons and rocks and fists, coming down on the creature, and it seemed, finally, to be weakening. Crushed under Alastor’s despair; pincushioned by Cybele’s arrows and Monoceros’s quills; burned by Vela’s fires and Hyperborea’s light and Yomi’s darkness; dragged down by Roka’s waters; battered by Anakeion’s boosted strength--the relentless assaults were wearing on it. And the weaker it got, the more the smog thinned.
It lashed out in every direction, tentacles reaching to grasp and whip and yank, wrapping around arms and smacking against torsos to attack whoever it could, to try to drag them forward, as if it intended to consume them to feed its own power. But it was a measure of desperation.
And all at once, every voice in the smog cried out, and faded.
All characters take 12 damage, and can choose to be grabbed or smacked by a tentacle as they like. However, the hallucinations have mostly cleared—only characters at or below 0 HP should still be strongly affected!
Remember: 0 HP does NOT mean out, it means that your character is VERY strongly affected by the Chaos! They can still participate in the battle, but may be badly emotionally struggling!

Deep Space Eternal Sailor Daedalus HP: 19/100 Action: Direct damage Eternal magic; encouraging everyone to kick this thing’s a**!! Damage Done: 10 + 9 = 19 dmg Boss HP: 338/2500It was a strange thing, to know that death was so close.
Daedalus could feel it in his bones, and he could not stop the racking coughs that ran through him. His shoulders shook, and blood spattered onto his gloves—an escalation of his symptoms that made him feel all but certain that his end was coming soon.
”Yes. Rest, Soren. Come home. Join the rest of us. It doesn’t always have to be you.”
It sounded so reasonable. So easy. He could just…close his eyes. Lay down. Sleep forever, forget all of this. Let his dead world be his tomb, too.
But it was the monster’s own actions that shocked Daedalus out of his reverie. A tentacle lashed out towards him, wrapping around his arm and yanking--and the pain was a shock to his system. It pulled him to his feet, and he planted his heels in the ground, refusing to be pulled further.
All at once, the voice in his head was silent. The clamor of battle flooded his awareness, and his heart leapt into his throat.

No, he couldn’t just lay down. Not when his friends were here. Not when Surtur, brave and noble and ever-reliable; Procyon, so eager to help; Murikabushi, a dear friend twice over; Fang, who had saved his own world and still volunteered to save Daedalus, too—not when all of them, and so many others he barely even knew, had come here. Had put their faith in him. Their lives in his hands.
It did always have to be him.
It had been a thousand years since Daedalus had called on his Eternal magic. But it felt almost electric under his skin—as if his magic desperately wanted to be used.
”Wheels..of Progress.”
It hurt to speak. He had to take a shuddery breath before he could. But his magic leapt to hand, and he hoped that whatever the monster saw, it hurt.
Then, he pitched up his voice, the way he might if he were leading a group of strikers to break down a factory door.
”It’s faltering! Give it everything you have!”

Super Sailor SurturHP: 18/75 Action: Attacking, keeping Ymir with him. Damage: (10 + 2d4) 17 Boss HP: 321/2500 It was everything he had to ignore the hallucinations. They were all calling to him. All the people he’d once loved -- those who had loved him in return. His lovers, his friends, his children. All reminding him how he so often went to other worlds to help with their problems. How he’d so frequently sought out others in distress that he was called a conqueror among those who did not benefit from his exploits, and by those who didn’t understand or know him.
He moved his arm to wrap tightly around Ymir, holding him close and to keep him from succumbing to his own ghosts and horrors. And also protecting him from the monster lashing out at them. He wasn't sure he was able to completely stop it from injuring Ymir, but he did his best to hold his arm out to guard them.
Daedalus was calling to them and--
The monster was fading. There was no relief just yet. They still had to push forward. They had a little longer.
“Just a bit more,” he promised, no longer feeling as though he was frozen to the spot. He hadn’t dared move as the voices told him to rest and give up and take a break.
“Ymir, we’ll head home soon,” he promised. He caught Daedalus’s eye for a moment and nodded to him as well, before casting his magic once more. Quote: Super Sailor Scout Attack: Abandon HopeAs if stumbling upon a site of total destruction, ash flutters through the air around Surtur’s target, making it difficult for them to see or breathe. Surtur’s target is hit with a heavy wave of depression and stronger feelings of emptiness and hopelessness. Everything around them appears as though it has lost all color saturation, or has been covered in ash or dust from decay. There is no physical damage, but the attack can cause nausea and dizziness. It lasts for thirty five (35) seconds and can be used two (2) times. It affects enemies within a twelve (12) foot radius around Surtur and the magic will follow him if he moves, but the effects end if the target moves out of the radius.

Vela super senshi of bonfiresHP: 7 Action: Direct damage Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 15 Vela was hit by the tentacle and she went flying, it took her a bit to pull herself together and she was still dealing with visions all around her telling her to give him and give in to the chaos but she knew this battle all too well since she had been a corrupt once before and she was not going back to that darkness so she danced once again using her last bit of magic to rain embers down on the boss once again. Dance of embers Vela dances around a bonfire bidding the flames to burn higher and higher embers flying into the air. The enemies the embers fall on receive the feeling of small stinging burns. (Lasts 30 sec. ) (Can be used twice per battle) 5 ft range. (Only feels like burning) (Open for interaction)

Enemies within 15 feet of Murikabushi are wracked with an intense hunger—the sort of hunger that gnaws at your insides, like you haven’t eaten all day. The craving can be for anything—food, drink, affection/intimacy, alcohol or narcotics, the answers to the math homework, etc.—and enemies are compelled to satiate it, but find it even more difficult to do so than they would expect. In addition to the intensity, this hunger makes them feel somewhat sluggish, making it harder for them to think, decide what to do, and see any actions through to completion, even those that they believe will satiate their hunger. Affected targets are still capable of acting and fighting back—though people may react to Murikabushi’s hunger differently—but until the hunger abates, they will struggle.

Quote: Squire Magic: Kāifēng swings his club like a baseball bat. When the swing is complete, ghostly shades claw their way out of the ground within a six-foot radius of Kāifēng. Anyone within the six-foot radius—including allies and Kāifēng himself—will feel a sense of recognition, like they should know who these dead people are, but the shades appear too mangled by death and decay to be recognizable as any particular person. The shades will attack anyone in the six-foot radius but Kāifēng, including allies, but being incorporeal, they do no physical damage. For the duration of his channeling, anyone hit by one of his shades will feel deathly chills and a heavy feeling of being watched. Encke, Transcended Eternal Senshi of PlasmaHP: 68/100 Action: feeling awful that Daphne and Ran are clearly not doing well, and Murikabushi just got hit, but making the decision to attack because getting rid of the monster is probably the easiest way to stop this. Damage Done: 10+3d6 = 26Boss HP: 241 / 2500 I'll fill this out more proper later, infusion weekend has me all messed up Quote: Eternal Sailor Attack: "Cometary Burn!" Encke points his finger out towards the target. An ethereal comet flies forward, the tail of the comet detaching as it does. The comet slams into the ground at the feet of his target. This creates a shockwave in a fifteen foot radius, potentially knocking people off balance. In the meantime, the air heats up, and a blast of plasma from the detached tail spreads out to fill that radius. It’s hot. It’s shocking. It burns. This attack causes the sensation of second to third degree burns to his adversaries for 45 seconds, with the potential for lasting damage. ( Usage: Once per battle. Duration: 45 seconds. Range: 15ft radius around the target. Weaknesses: The shockwave doesn’t discriminate, and anyone except Encke within the radius can be knocked over by it.)
