When Vince's Noibat approached Nijrn as the bat landed upon Aer's head, the rock bird turned his gaze so she could face the other bat easily. [Oh, hi hi! Thank you!] The little bat replied, chattering happily. Her manner of speech wasn't to far off from the way she spoke when using her ability, suggesting the Noibat was young all around. [I like your purples! Pretty, pretty!" ] She bounced some on Aer's head in her excitement. It was fun for the Noibat to meet others of her species.
Avikna was happy to see the male hadn't stormed off, and instead stopped to explain himself. The red-head folded her arms, listening to the male's explanation.A brow lifted high, as a look of confusion mixed with the red-head's normal scowl. She glanced to the side, thinking back to what Lexera looked like after mega evolving. For a while she stood there, looking over the image in her head before she looked back towards Vince and replied. "Well she certainly doesn't look like a sheep anymore." This statement suggested she neither agreed or disagreed. Though it was true, she didn't see the dragon in Lexera either. Long luxurious hair did not a dragon make.
Hearing Nijrn's jittering, Avikna turned her gaze back towards the bat quickly, finding it was speaking with another Noibat. Her head quickly returned to Vince once more, specifically his shoulder, empty. Come to think of it.. Noibat, and a Dratini? It could be pure coincidence that he'd have two dragons, but the curiosity in Avikna was bubbling up. She wasn't the type to gather all the facts before making up her mind most of the time, and this was one such occasion. "Are you some sort of dragon expert or something?" Avikna inquired giving the male a quick look over. Avikna had missed the dragon tattoo peeking out from under the male's sleeves. Maybe he just liked dragons a lot? Wasn't like Avikna could judge him either way for his interests, she hadn't exactly planned on gathering so many dragons and training them. Though admittedly, it was somewhat more fun than her first journey. She couldn't imagine having gone this far without Ule'tra or.. Requiem turned R.A.Y. Whatever the case Avikna wasn't to far off, and how funny it was that she'd happen upon another dragon user.... in the dragon pen of all places. Well, not entirely that rare, but what were the chances of them actually interacting, if Nijrn hadn't done what she did.

Aislin triumphant in her devious deed, decided to continue playing games. She still had a pretty big haul, and it wasn't long before she'd end up having enough to get herself another stone. Maybe she'd just buy two Lucarionites! She was smart enough to know that wouldn't benefit her in any way, if she'd bought the proper megastone in the first place, but the canine was all for wasting Avikna's tokens. Unknowingly karma was taking hold. Her defeat at the first few games wasn't entirely on the Lucario's mind as he continued onward to play the next set of games. Passing by trainers and Pokemon a like. It felt like a few more people had started moving into the area, likely because of one of those boring plays. Why didn't they have one about a Lucario or something?

Pouting some at her lack of luck at the recent games, the canine continued on towards the next set of games. The next game was relatively close to the pens. Avikna still stood in the dragon pen, along with some guy and a woman. She spotted Aer nearby, with Nijrn speaking to another Noibat. She snarled some. How she hated dragons. With a sharp turn on her heel she headed towards the game she'd been going toward. Despite her rise in anger, her luck improved if only to get her hopes up for a huge token haul.

It wasn't long before the group was back to their normal grind. Evan for the most part was as focused as ever while he played the games. When it came to the Berry bobbing game, Evan didn't do to well. It seemed all the berries he was getting weren't to nice to the pallet, so they dropped back into the bucket not counting. He got one by the end of it. The next game felt even worse for the male, his eyes were starting to bother him. For awhile he wasn't really bothered by the blurry vision, but now it was getting in the way of his game playing. Louhi was picking up on his frustrations. 'It can't be helped until you get your glasses.' Louhi stated, patting Evan on his back. "I know. Why don't I just leave the game playing to you guys? I don't want to stress out my eyes any more than I have to." Evan stated, starting to walk away from the bean bag game. 'We can handle it Evan!' Heading back to the petting zoo, Evan was followed by Saga, and only Saga. The others were having fun playing games, while he returned to play with the various Pokemon. Split into several pens, the Pokemon seemed to be divided depending on their species. Having already ventured into the Ponyta pen, the male decided to check out the Skiddo and Mareep pens. Children and even some older kids were allowed to ride on the back of the Skiddo, being fairly strong for their size. The Skiddo enjoyed butting one another in the head with their horns, a playful act that sometimes turned into a way of proving dominance. These little ones were far to young to be considering mating at this time but it wasn't going to be long before the evolved into Gogoats. Evan found them rather interesting actually.
Heading into the pen, though It was long before he thought maybe his eyes were starting to play tricks on him. In the pen, very notably stood a Stantler... with pants on. The backpack wasn't to farfetched, or the hat... but why in the world was it wearing pants? That seemed rather strange for an Pokemon. Especially a hooved one like this. Approaching the Stantler, it's head turned for a moment, it's eyes seemed distant, like it was half asleep. But then they widened some. Evan stopped, fearing it might attack him, but it did nothing, instead going back to eating some grass. "So you've noticed our odd addition." Came the voice a young female attendant. "Yea... Why is he wearing pants?" Evan asked. The woman shrugged her shoulders. "We don't know. We've tried to take them off, but he gets kind of angsty when we do." She replied. "He's actually not apart of our group. We let him stay because well, believe it or not, he helped with one of the skiddo when it sprained it's ankle. It had everything you'd need right in it's backpack there." She motioned. This was a very farfetched story, but Evan decided to bite. "Maybe someone taught it?" It wasn't to hard to believe a real doctor taught it how to treat certain wounds with the things in it's bag. "Maybe. Anyway, I've got to go, He doesn't mind people petting him, just don't touch his hat or pants." The woman added, slipping away to assist some children nearby.

Slowly approaching the Stantler, Evan rested a hand down gently on the deer's neck. He seemed to not care, moving forward slightly to grab another bit of grass. "Wow, yea.. those are real pants." Evan mused. They seemed to be designed to at least him relieve himself without having any troubles. But how did he get them cleaned? Evan brushed his hand along the deer's neck, and just as it seemed things were getting calm (For Evan) A young boy no older than eight ran forward and tried to grab onto the Stantler's pants, playfully trying to "pants" the deer. Suddenly, Evan found himself wrapping his arms around the deer's neck, preventing it from turning around to attack the boy. This wasn't good. If he actually did attack the boy, it's likely they wouldn't let him stay... had no one tried doing this before? If he was getting this hog wild over someone touching his pants, then likely it's happened before... little kids pulled on things they were not meant to a lot of the time? Whatever, this wasn't the time to try and figure that out, he had to calm the deer down somehow. "Saga, you're going to have to knock him out with a Dynamic Punch." Evan stated. Saga was hesitant, since she didn't want to hit the deer with Evan still attached. Instead, she ignored this order, sweeping her body between the boy and the Stantler, grabbing either of his horns, she pushed him back until he was against the fence, unable to buck. [ Hey, hey! Calm down! ] Saga tried to plead with the Stantler. [ If you don't stop it, they'll kick you out of here. ] She continued. Her words thankfully were starting to get to him. [ The kid's been dealt with. Come on, calm down already. ] One final shake of his head, and the Stantler seemed to calm down, though his tired expression had turned to something fierce.

From the moment they'd entered the pens things had been interesting, first Vince's awkward encounter with the goat pokemon in the Skiddo pen, then, in the dragons' pen, a young woman had been swarmed by a large number of the dragons instead--which later turned out to be because the trainer's Noibat, who had wanted to stay with her friends, had sent them after her--and finally the evolution and mega evolution of an Ampharos; Olivia couldn't help but ponder if things were usually this excitable in the petting zoo. The pinkette looked up ahead at Vince, who was busy dragging them both out of the pens and towards the stages, before wondering just what had him bent out of shape-- or rather, why. She knew it had to due with the redhead's mega Ampharos being called a dragon, but why exactly she wasn't sure. Olivia snorted gently when Vince insisted that he was fine--now if that wasn't the biggest lie...--but didn't bother questioning him further and let it go for now. Even if Vince wouldn't tell her now he'd tell her soon enough.
Before they could leave, however, they were stopped by the redheaded woman once more, who demanded an explanation of Vince's actions. Considering that it was her Ampharos, and the way Vince had reacted towards it, she was entitled to one. Olivia looked at Vince expectantly, her feet slowing to a stop, and with her free hand began to fiddle with the ends of her armor. She listened as Vince, rather calm despite his initial actions, explained that he had nothing against the Ampharos line, and certainly not Avikna's, but rather its typing and its association with dragons. Avikna didn't necessarily agree and, rather pointed out that her Ampharos didn't look like a sheep anymore. Which was true but, granted, Ampharos lost the entire 'sheep' look upon its evolution, its mega evolution had nothing to do with that.
Olivia remained silent, since she had nothing to add, and allowed the two to converse between each other; though she couldn't help but to chuckle when Avikna asked if Vince was a dragon expert. Still, without a comment, she bid her time by looking around, past the pens and to the gaming area to try and spot her own pokemon. It took a bit of searching but eventually she managed to find the two, and to her surprise found them accompanied by a Haxorus. Goodness, there were just dragons everywhere, weren't there?

With Haxorus in the lead the trio made their way through the games once more, able to gather, what felt like, the standard nine tokens from the first set of games before they moved onto the next. "Oh, can I try this one?" Cayenne piped up when they arrived at the next game, scuttling up to the stand beside Haxorus. She looked down at the fire-type, expression dubious, before shrugging and stepping back. "Knock yourself out, kid." With a squeak of excitement Cayenne propped herself onto two legs and scrabbled with one ball, getting a firm grip before she backpedaled. Once she felt she'd gotten an appropriate feet away she began to spin, keeping her grip on the ball the entire time, then let the ball loose when she felt it was right. Despite her blind toss the ball managed to have a surprising amount of accuracy to it, hitting one plate and shattering it there. Cayenne, a bit dizzy, tottered back to the stand to collect her next ball and repeat the action, doing it twice more before her time was up. She'd managed to get two out of three plates and her efforts received her four tokens, which she didn't hesitate to give to Poppy.
"I'm just... I'm just gonna sit down for a moment, go on with the next game," Cayenne puffed before she sat herself down, the world spinning before her. Poppy looked down at her teammate with a mixture of concern and annoyance, giving her head a soft pat before she nodded and went off to play the next game. "We'll come back for you once we finish this game, alright?" Cayenne simply nodded before she grew still, breathing in deeply in the hopes that it would clear her head faster.

It took a few minutes after Poppy and Haxorus finished up their time at the crossbow game for Cayenne to recover, and afterwards the three made their way slowly to race tracks. Poppy, who was the only one of them who'd yet to participate in this particular game, was allowed to pick the Rapidash they'd bet on and, once the race was over, treated her two companions to a smug grin as her choice managed to get second place. It wasn't first place, but it was better than what they'd had so far. Poppy remained in her jovial mood all the way to the berry game, where she and Cayenne watched as Haxorus tried her luck once more. While she moved about in the water, trying to snag berries, Poppy tried to think of how they were going to get all their berries to Olivia. For now then, they'd simply have to hold onto them.
Poppy glanced upwards when a shadow fell on her, droplets of water landing at her feet. Haxorus had finished with a grand total of two berries and two coins, the latter of which she handed to the Happiny first before trying to give her a berry. Just one, however, since apparently there was a fee for her efforts. Poppy only shook her head before she gestured to Cayenne, "let her eat this one. We have enough berries for the time being." Haxorus simply shrugged, already busy munching her berry, then handed the berry over to Cayenne, who made sure to thank both Haxorus and Poppy before she bit into the fruit.

Vince frowned lightly as Avikna responded to his explanation by pointing out that the ampharos didn't really look like a sheep anymore. "Well she certainly doesn't look like a dragon either." Vince retorted. While he agreed that the ampharos didn't resemble a sheep as much as their former evolutions, it was still more sheep-like, and it didn't even resemble a dragon in any way, shape or form, so it still kind of pissed him off that people were so uneducated that they could look at that dopey sheep pokemon and think "dragon". Avikna's attention was distracted slightly, and Vince followed her gaze to notice that Olivia was no longer perched on his shoulder and now chittering away with Nijrn. Vince sighed, supposing that since they were still here and having a conversation, it was fine if she wanted to stay and chat for a while. Avikna seemed to start to connect the dots after noticing his pokemon, asking if he was some kind of dragon expert. Vince's subconscious hold on Olivia's hand tightened slightly as he looked away uncomfortably. "Yeah.... I'm a dragon tamer, so I work primarily with dragons." He explained, resisting the urge to tug his sleeve down. "What about you...? You seem to have a few dragons on your team as well." He nodded to Nijrn, Aer, and Astrid. It would be interesting if she was a dragon tamer as well, but he doubted she was anyone from the nine clans.
Olivia continued to be rather oblivious towards the conflict at hand, enjoying her little talk with Nijrn. ("Heehee, thanks, but they're nothing special like yours... A lot of noibat look like this. I wanna have bright special colors like you~ Like rolling around in a rainbow!") She suggested, with a giggle. She didn't mind the young speech of the little noibat, especially since she was pretty young herself. ("My name's Olivia, what's yours?") She asked curiously, taking a perch next to the shiny noibat on Aer's head and looking down at the aerodactyl. ("Hello mister, is it okay if I stand on your head too?") She asked with a toothy grin. He'd been awfully quiet, and she didn't want him feeling left out in the conversation.

Gavyn regrouped with Sable and Darren, the new area being a lot easier for Gavyn to adjust to. There were still games being played, but as per request of the people running the fair, it seemed that this area was set to be quieter than the rest so that people can enjoy the plays. The brunette was quite grateful for that. "O-oh... I'm sorry I ... well, I just... kinda wanted to come to this area because it sounded like it'd be quieter..." Gavyn replied when what play they should watch came into question. He fidgeted a bit, offering a sheepish smile. "I-i wouldn't mind seeing one, though... I g-g-guess the choice is up to you all." he added in explanation, moving over to look at the program more. Some of them sounded vaguely familiar, but not exact to anything he's read about before.
"You'll have to excuse Gavy. He's been ... well, he just takes time to get used to crowded areas." Merlin commented. The clefairy was a lot less interested in seeing a play than his trainer, but honestly didn't mind moving along with the group. However, he felt like checking in with Marigold and Lapis. "I'm going to go play some games for now." Merlin told the group, then with a wave, he went off to find the florges duo. Once he found them, he relieved Mari of her bag. "Why don't you gals go enjoy the finer parts of the fair? I think I can handle games for a bit." the told the two fairies. "Oh! Thank you very much, Merlin! Come on, Lapis! Maybe we can catch a play? I'll let you pick~" Marigold exclaimed, then turned to Lapis before pulling her away from the games. The clefairy chuckled, then tried his hand at the bean bag toss, getting all three in the hole easily. and with the catapult game, he got the plush to go as far as a full ten feet! What a score!

As the group made their way into the staging area, Sable and Jin immediately set off looking for a play to watch, Jin soon locating a posting of a playbill. There seemed to be two plays going on at the moment, one was a historical reenactment, and the other... Well Jin started laughing, so Darren looked to read the play blurb himself. Gallade the Galliant was the other one, and Jin seemed to be amused that they seemed to have most of the plot of that particular play between Darren and Sable. Darren started to laugh a bit along with Jin at that in spite of Sable's grumbling. "Aheheh.... Well, he's not wrong." Darren grinned sheepishly. Frankly he was often intimidated by Sable, he often wanted to help her but she often gave the impression that she would, and could, rather handle things herself. "What do you think Gavyn? Which play would you rather see?" Darren inquired, since it had been Gavyn who'd wanted to see a play in the first place.
Gavyn quickly explained that wasn't the case though. Apparently he'd only been interested in coming to the stage area because he thought it would be quieter. "Oh...." Darren blinked in surprise. He wasn't disappointed per se, but it certainly seemed strange. If that was really what he wanted, he could have just said so from the start. He insisted that he wouldn't mind seeing a play though, and left the decision of which one to Darren and Sable. Merlin somewhat apologized for his trainer since it took the boy some time to get used to crowded areas. "Oh, yeah, it's fine! I understand... You know you could have just said that though Gavy. We would have understood." Darren suggested with a somewhat concerned smile. "As far as play choice... I'm kind of interested in that historical reenactment but uh.... I realize that's probably not the most exciting thing in the world for most.... I just kind of like history so...." He grinned sheepishly again. Arceus, he was such a nerd....
Lapis was somewhat relieved that Merlin offered to take over on playing games, allowing her and Mari to enjoy other aspects of the fair, like going to see a play like their trainers. "Oh! Avikna shifted her weight, arms still folded over her chest. She had to agree there, while it didn't look like a sheep it certainly didn't look like a dragon. What the heck did it look like? This was mildly frustrating the red-head, so it was a good thing the subject shifted away from Ampharos in general and back to actual dragons. Though Avikna's gaze was on Vince, her mind was elsewhere. 'Primarily working with dragons, doesn't mean you're an expert.' She thought. Well, it could. She wasn't about to say that out loud, given her own predicament. She did seem to have mostly dragons on her team, but to call herself a dragon tamer? Like she actually knew what she was doing when it came to a dragon verse any other type of Pokemon. 'Oh, just say yes already.' Mave voiced in the red-head's mind. She stepped forward, taking the adjacent side of Astrid, a child still dangling from one of her horns before they finally let go and scampered off to a pile of Goomy. 'What? You afraid he's going to give you a pop quiz or something?' The wolf gave a mental grin. Avikna parted her lips as if she was going to say something out loud, specifically to Mave, before she caught herself and instead sighed. "Yes. You could say I am." She spoke. "Though I didn't really ask to be." She added in, her tone a bit more hushed, but otherwise audible to the nearby couple. She couldn't help but think back to her grandfather. The last he'd seen him he'd told her about the whereabouts of most of her Pokemon.

Aislin was thoroughly enjoying herself. She'd managed to obtain a high bit of tokens in the last few games she'd played. Tossing up the box with the megastone in it up and down, the canine strolled from the last game she'd played to the next set of games. She wasn't really deterred by her low scores this go around, she just knew it was adding to her personal bank. Visions of the things she'd buy were being tossed around her head, half of the things she didn't even know what they did or what they were for, but as long as she made Avikna's life miserable, she was all in.

Deciding to keep it just in case, the canine got a small baggy from the attendant which she used to carry the berry and the Megastone box. Continuing on to the next game, she found herself at the catapult game, which went far better than the berry game. After accepting her tokens, she decided to stop and count out her total thus far. One away from 16o? Pretty good. It'd take some time to get back up the total to buy another Megastone, if that was what she really wanted to get. Though she did seem some various items that could be useful to her, or not useful to Avikna. She grinned deviously to herself as she tossed her token bag up in the air again.
