There Baxterfullous laid, in the middle of the living room on the couch. Dressed in less than a pair of loose slacks, he contemplated what to do with himself. He couldn't nap his life away could he? Well... for a good majority of his life he did... how horrid.

Aphrodite watched him from afar, turning her head back to her homework she studied her notes. Fire controls Heat, not fire itself.. heat creates fire. Also this alignment can absorb heat creating ice.

Baxterfullous, furrowed his brow. He fought a feelign that form deep into his stomach... he felt so alone, though surrounded by family and people he cared for.. he still felt the wretched feeling of nothingness. He closed his eyes tightly, turning his face into the couch he let out a shaky breath.

"This is stupid." Aphrodite said finally, looking at her notes. "How come this alignment's called fire when it controls heat? It's confusing!" She exclaimed. "It should be called Heat not Fire!"

"Talk about this to someone who gives a damn." He said roughly, a pillow now covered his face.

"..but your the magic teacher. You should care. It's confusing. Why name something Fire when it doesn't control fire entirely. It doesn't make sense. Why's it called fire then?" She looked perplexed and a bit annoyed.

" ... Because I said so." His tone was less than amused.

"Huh? That's stupid! You're avoiding the question." She grumbled, standing up on the table her arms crossed over her flat chest.

"Then talk to Jabir about...just leave me alone, please?" He rubbed his temples, that horrid feeling etching over his form.

".. but you're the magic teach-"

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE DAMMIT! I'LL DEAL WITH IT LATER!" He yelled sitting up quickly.

Aphrodite fell over, biting her lip. The palms of her hands slapping over her eyes as she began to cry, a habit she'd pick up when she was smaller... a fear of letting over see her cry.

He took in a deep breath, shaking for a momnet. Shaking his head. "Aphrodite I'm so sor-"

"NO! You're always so mean Bax! Just because you have problems doens't mean you have to take it out on people! You're- - You're so stupid!" She flew from the dining room table and into her room. holding out her hands she summoned a gustof wind to slam her door shut.

"... Dammitall." He breathed, shoving his face into a throw pillow.

"... What the hell was that all about?" Came a voice from the front door, Catherine had her arms filled with groceries. Comming close after her was Rapheal with Nariko and Garreth.

"Nothing... I guess I'm just being difficult." He sighed sitting up properly, his hand at his forehead. "I'm so stupid at times." He stared at his free hand.

"I don't think you're stupid Uncle Bax." A small voice came from the side, Garreth peered over the arm rest of the couch.

"You're the first." He smiled, reaching over to pet Garreth.

"... Why don't you go out for a few hours, get out of the house for a while." Catherine suggested as she placed the bags down on the counter, moving her way to the table to pick up Aphrodite's homework.

"Maybe I should... just take a very long walk." He said slowly, as he stood giving Garreth's head one last pet. He pulled his button up shirt from where it laid, a chair by Catherine's room. Slipping on some shoes, he pulled on his shirt, buttoning only a few buttons. "... I'll be out on my own.. I'll call when I'm on my way back." He said quietly, grabbing his wallet and walking out the front door.

"Ah, Uncle Bax got the blues." Nariko frowned, toddling over to Aphrodite's door and opening it.

"GO AWAY!"

"Nuh-uh. Make me." Nariko razzled.

"Nari...?" Aphrodite sniffled, hugging al tightly.

"What's wrong sissie?"

"Bax yelled at me."

"How come?"

"Cuz he's stupid."

"Good reasons." The toddler giggled, climbing up onto her sister's bed. "Wanna play?"

Aphrodite sighed, flopping back onto her bed, "I duno, I'm not in a good mood."

"Aw, but we can play fun things." Nariko mimicked.

Aphrodite laughed. "What kinda fun things?"

"Everything!"

"Hehe.. sounds good."

"UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGhhhhhh....." Came a moan from the bathroom of Catherine's room, after which was followed by unpleasant sounding noise.

"Ew." The ice maiden made a face as she toddle to her older sister's room. "Aff-dite! Aff-dite! Maa-maa is making icky pukie noise." She covered her ears as she announced to her studious sister.

"Icky pukie noise?" Looking up from her magic notes, making notes on certain abilites and mistakes she made from class.

"< Yes! It yucky!> " The icemaiden naturally converted to her first language, japanese.

"< Where's Uncle Bax, can't he help?>" The wasp replied, finding the langauge natural thanks to the countless days of study.

"< Dunno. We find!>" As quick as she came she scuttle off to find the black catfolk, much to the children's dismay he was no where to be found... and funny enother neither was thier little brother.

Sighing, the wasp decided it was best to apporach their mother, hovering slowly into her dark room, the smell was awful. "Mama..?" She spoke in a nasily voice, her nose covered by her hands.

"Hmmm...? Ugh.. what's wrong baby?" Came a sick sounding voice, that was a resemblance of their mother.

"Are you ok, Mama?"

"I must've eaten something bad that didn't agree with me.. Baby, go check in the pantry if we have the ingriediants to make a cure for the stomach flu." She strained as she stood, turnign on the facet to was her face and mouth out.

The wasp nodded as she flew out of the room and into the kitchen, followed clase behind her was her sister who climbed up onto the counter to help open the pantry.

Readignt he recipes that were posted on the inside of the pantry door, the wasp zoomed back and forth between looking over at the ingrediants and what they had in stock. Much to their dismay they were missing many of what was needed. "MAMA WE NEED TO RESTOCK!" She shrilled from the kitchen as Nariko covered her ears again.

Catherine sighed, pulling on her coat and boots, she drudge her way towards the kitchen. "What's missing?"

"Half of the list mama.. and we're out of kosher salt." The wasp squeeked as she took a seat on her little sister's head.

"Hmm.." She groaned, rubbing her stomache. "Do you think the out skirts of the forest will have what we need?"

"I think so, but we can't be sure Mama. Maybe we should have Uncle Duke or Uncle Salem get what you need."

"No!.. I mean.. I don't want them to worry."

"That's a stupid reason mama." Aphrodite squinted as she stuck out her tongue.

"Yep yep, stupid." Nariko copied the expression.

Catherine sighed. "Alright.. I'm feeling alot better.. let's go to the wooded area around treehouse isle and we can find herbs there... and then we come right back home."

"Promise?" Echoed the two children at the same time.

Catherine winked holding out her pinky. "Promise."
