"Eh. It's what big brothers are for," Rabid shrugged, "I've got a few myself. Tell him to bugger off? No. On second thought, don't. Mei-Vaar is catching onto us. No killing things for a while."
She shuddered as she remembered the most recent Vavvian newspaper. They claimed that they knew who Rabid was, and possibly where she lived.
She hadn't the slightest idea if it was true.
"What recent events do you speak of, m'friend?"
Ike cocked his head to one side and smiled mischeviously.
"Not nevermind. What?"
He didn't expect an answer, really. He just liked fooling around.

Crow shrugged, preferring to ignore what Rabid had mentioned about killing things. The thought of him killing brought a pain with it she didn't want to dwell on at the moment.
"Well, not really recent, persay. Th' whole William thing spooked him a bit. I mean, he's the one got the knife in the back, but he said he was more freaked out when I got zapped off into the Concrete Room of Doom. He thought I'd gotten evaporated or something."
Wrinkling her nose and debating whether or not it would be wise to tell him, Lenore fidgeted with her pendant.
"Eh..."
She leaned in close and cupped a hand arond his ear, whispering exactly she'd been grossed out about to him. Drawing back, she stuck out her tongue again.
"Yes, nevermind. Blecch."

"Ah. No," Rabid huffed and shook her head, "You were just pulled into a different state of mind. That kinda thing can never happen to you again, though. Liam's got the power." She fingered the scars on her hands absentmindedly.
Ike's ears flicked back and forth and his pupils expanded for a moment.
"Uh...wow," he murmured, "Yeah...I can see why..." He wrinkled one side of his nose in disgust.

"Oh. 'Kay, then."
Standing and stretching a little stiffly, Crow grinned at Rabid.
"I think I'll go see if I can hunt Liam down and ask him about that movie," she said casually, the grin turning slightly goofy for some hidden reason. "I'll see you later - I'm going to be sticking around home a lot more for a couple weeks."
Whistling at Lenore and beckoning for her to follow, Crow waved goodbye to Rabid and set off back inside.
"Humans are just funky," Len said in a low voice, shaking her head in disgust. Male functions in... whatever it was, were just too gross to contemplate.
"Glad we don't know anyone that's really just Human. Dunno how we woulda ended up otherwise."
Giving a groan of disappointment as Crow left the balcony, Lenore smiled at Malachi with genuine pleasure, giving his hand a quick squeeze before jumping up.
"Thank you, Malachi. I'll wear it forever, just like the bracelet," she said, holding the pendant close to her heart. Waving goodbye, she scooted after Crow back inside.

The Sleepover: Inside Catherine's Apartment/Aphrodite's Room
Catherine heaved the couch back a few feet away from the Tv, then started moving the coffee table out of the way. "Aphrodite... remind me how many people are staying here again?"
"Umm.. let's see..." The smallest mishap held up her fingers as she started to count. "Um.. Me, Nariko, Garreth... Rhad and Leo... Ike? ... and I kinda invited Deimos... so that makes 7! Ooo a lucky number mama." She grined a bit, dressed comfortably in a pair of gray shorts, socks, and a pink shirt with a heart on the chest.
"You what?" Catherine made a face, and then sighed. "Well, jus' don't make too much of a mess and since it's the weekend you guys can stay up late, but not too late."
"Yay!" She grinned as she flomped ontp a pillow that was on the couch.
Comming out of his room was the 10 foot long dragon known as Garreth, in his mouth was a pillow and a blanket. Dropping on the floor infront of the couch. "Can I sleep out here too Mama?"
Catherine smiled, laughing a bit. "No sweetie.. Leo and Nariko will be sleeping in your room for tonight, but you can stay out here with the big kids until you guys need to get to bed."
"Aww.. but I wanna stay out here with 'Dite."
"Me too!" Jumped Nariko, a pillow in her arms.
"You can stay out here until bedtime and then you'll scoot your way to bed and you can watch one movie before goign to sleep."
The two toddler's sighed. "Ok."
Catherine took a moment to think. "I hope Salem and Cato can come over too... I wonder if they got my note."

" You mean the other bug?" Rhad frowned siting at the dinning room table. He was assigned to make popcorn. Staring at the microwave as the popping noise took over his need to be rude once more.. it was so.. entrancing.
"Cato? .. Oh him! ... That'd be ok!" The little saytr grinned.

Ike used his tail to thump against Di's door, seeing as to how his hands were full. He carried a pillow in one, and a bag in the other which held many necessities along with Skelly.
"Hello!"

"Ee! I got it!" Aphrdite zoomed out of the living room and through her open door. Pushing down on her new door knob, she opened the door to greet her guests. "Hi Ike! Hello Miss Rabid!"
Catherine poked her head in. "Oh hello!"

"Oh, hey! You guys staying over too?" Salem smiled as he walked over to the two standing outside the door. Seems he'd had good timing. There was a backpack on full of Cato's things, said mishap being lead along by the hand.
Cato looked up at the two as he was lead along, clinging to his egg in his main arms. He recognized the white fluffy one, though what his name was he didn't know. One of his secondary hands came up to wave lightly to the squirell, "'Llo..."

"Salem!" Catherine smiled, clapping her hands together happily. "You made it! Thank gods." The idea of being alone with so many children scared her.
Garreth came towars the open door. "Hi!"
Hovering in midair Aphrodite, grabbed Ike's finger and began to pull. "Come on, let's help my mama. Rhad's making popcorn."

((Delphine and Thylassa RP - Fountain))
Gullien slumped against the side of the fountain, her tail still wrapped tightly in bandages, although peach fuzz was starting to come up. Having a toddler was... exhausting. Intellectually she knew it was going to be harder to have a mobile kid but this was nuts. Gone were the scoots and crawls. Now Lassa was zooming all over the damn place and usually straight to the most dangerous things she could find. Speaking of which...
" 'pash!" Lassa crowed happily, splashing her hands into the water in the fountain. Drapped on her stomach over the side, she eagerly smacked water in all directions, letting it soak her pigtails and overalls alike. " 'Pash, 'pash, 'pash!"
"Oi." Gullien muttered, pulled on the leg of Lassa'a overalls. "Get down from there before you fall in."

Kay had decided that going outside and getting some fresh air and sunshine would be good for Delphine and her both. But still she wasn't quite sure enough of herself to wander to far from their room. What if Delphine needed a diaper change or something? So she'd checked the map of headquaters and decided on the balcony and fountain just outside their room. Delphine had been loaded into the stroller, along with Roo, her Dolphin blankie and the bag of baby supplies slung over the handles. As she pushed to stroller over the the fountain, Kay paused. There was someone already there. A guardian probably, going by the strange child she was talking to. Should she go and introduce herself?
Delphine had been burbling happily as she was pushed along in the stroller. It was new and exciting! Her baby talk ceased as the stroller did. Why was her mama stoppping? She had been enjoying that! About to voice a complaint, Delphine's eyes fell upon the other people near the fountain. One of them was a tiny person. Delphine hadn't met anyone else close to her size before. They looked like they were having fun splashing in the water. Delphine liked water to. Maybe they could play in it together? She blurbled a rather loud greeting to the other Mishap, "Bah!"
Kay sighed as Delphine greeted the others excitedly. It was to late to turn around and hide in her room now, so she wheeled the stroller closer. "Hi" she waved shyly at them.

Gullien glanced up at the sound of a door closing and a stroller's squeak. Looked like another guardian with... what was probably a mishap, she couldn't see in the stroller. Probably new if their Mishap was still small enough to need a stroller. For a minute she thought the new person would just turn around or pass by, but the child in the stroller called out a greeting and the guardian came over. Kinda shy? Or maybe aloof, it was hard to tell. "Hi." She greeted back plainly, bandaged tail swishing. "Coming to take in some air? It's nice out today."
Lassa looked up briefly at the odd noise. 'Nother baby? She half turned, one hand still in the water to eye to new peoples. "Hiyo." she waved back, still swishing water with her other hand. New people or water, new people or water... it was a very hard choice.

"I thought it time I stopped hiding in my room." Kay answered smiling shyly. "And I read that fresh air and sunshine are vital for a child's well being and development." She ruffled the squirming Delphine's hair and beamed down at her. "Oh, how rude of me!" she suddenly blushed. "My name's Kay and the tot is Delphine."
Delphine's kitty eyes were wide with excitement and following the other mishap's every move. As she said hello Delphine fluffed her fins with glee. "Ooh!" she echoed pleased that the other tiny person had heard her greeting. Blinking she watched her splash in the fountain in all it's splishy glory. Now that was a bath! She leaned forward, wanting to get a closer look, but the stroller's straps held her back. Squirming around she tried to get closer again. It wasn't working! "Ah!" she huffed angrily.
At Delphine's insitant squirming, Kay looked down. "You want to play in the foutain too sweetie?" she asked, undoing the straps and lifting Delphi from the stroller.
Delphine uncurled her long legs and kicked them excitedly, finally her mama had understood! She grabbed onto one of Roo's ears as she was lifted from the confines of the stroller.
Kay made her way to the fountain and sat on the edge, Delphine and Roo in her lap and let her mishap lean over enough to get her hands wet.
"Ayah!!" Delphine burbled gleefully and smacked her hands into the water. She turned to the other child playing in the water and gave her a look as if to say 'Did I do it right?'
