Main Ingredient(s): Wasp stinger and wings
Original Spell: A love spell was being cast upon a corpse that going to be resurrected, so that once it was alive and well again it would fall madly in love with the caster
What went wrong: Instead of using a Queen bee's stinger and wings, the caster used a wasp's instead without knowing the difference. Also the sister of the woman being resurrected became very furious and interrupted the spell, furthering it's failure
Full Story:
Love.
Love is defined to be the most sentimental... and most trivial word known to man. A word capable of driving people to do things that they feel what is right in their hearts, but sometimes what they feel as right is wrong to those whose mind is clear. Love can drive people mad with loneliness if love is left unrequited...
Love was the only word to describe the way he felt for her, or so he thought. The beautiful woman that laid lifeless before the tall thin man was the source of his misplaced devotion, her soft blonde hair spread across the stone floor like water. He lifted his pale hand to caress her cold cheek.
"Oh my sweet Anastay...Soon you will be mine forever." His tone was soft and distant, barely above a whisper.
A grimace came upon his pale thin face as his long dark bangs fell over his tragic blue eyes, a sinking feeling hit his heart. Shaking it off he lifted himself from off the blood stained stone floor, the stains on his robes barely shown across the ebony fabric.
One by one he slowly lit each candle that was placed accordingly around a circle drawn in chalk, as he came to the last the events of the day played over his memories, it was perfect...so perfect.. .And so simple, but why?
For a long time he had watched the beautiful priestess we have come to know as Anastay from afar. She, in his eyes, was perfection. They had known each other for longer than he could remember though distant, they were friends. Well as friendly as a priestess and a necromancer could be.
He had grown fond of her over time, watching her play and dance while he kept his distance reading under a tree. His fondness for her, however, it seemed far more like admiration as time made it to be.
"Her powers of healing were unrivaled as was her beauty, not only that she was a gifted match maker able to sway the emotions of all that were around her. None would expect any less though from a priestess to love goddess Aphrodite. Oh, her smile...her smile showed such a bitter sweet kindness behind her sunshine hazel eyes." The pale man sighed, his eyes carried a forlorn gaze as he watched the fair Anastay dance in a circle of flowers.
So bitter sweet, He had thought so long ago. Possibly, could she be alone like I? He shook his head. Impossible, he pondered as he closed his eyes. She, unlike I, is happy. She has everything I cannot have; beauty, wealth, power... and a family who cares so deeply for her.
A single tear fell down his cheek. "My heart..." He said quite bitterly. "She has captured my heart, but this is no witchery. I am the only one to blame for such a cruel act. I cannot love, it is not the way of the necromancer." He turned his back away from her. " Love." He spat. "What a hideous notion."
"Braoin!" A sweet voice echoed through the silence.
"Ah! An-Anastay..?" He turned slowly to face her. "What brings me such the honor of your company?"
" You looked so lonely under the tree..." A true smile spread across her face. " I wondered if you were alright... I am waiting for my younger sister Astra."
A small frown came upon his face at the sound of the name. " Why?" Braoin hated Astra, to him she was so meddling and quite over protective.
" She told me she had a dream the night prior. " A small giggle had left her lips that made butterflies frenzy in his stomach. "She's not very good at divinations like I am, though she is so much stronger than me...I said I meet her here and help her out."
"Oh." He said quietly. What a shame, he had thought.
" Yes, she wouldn't tell me what was it about though, though it was something important." A sigh left her lips as she carelessly sat herself down on the grass.
He gulped, the thought of a woman of high stature invading his personal space, was horrifying. He wringed his hands a bit, sighing he took a moment to breath. Sadly his moment of peace was interrupted by a sharp tone.
"Anastay! Stay away from him!" A smaller woman shouted, her hands on her shapely hips. "Dearest sister you cannot associate with a monger of death. " She furrowed her brows as she grasped Anastay by the arm and pulled her up to her feet and then began to drag her away.
"Astra... " she strained, unable to break her grip her sister has attained onto her arm. She frowned, turning her sorrowful gaze at Braoin, softly she worded 'I'm sorry'.
The thin pale man who we have now come to know as Braoin sat there quietly dumbstruck, his expression then hardened and his heart filled with hate.
Then as the night began to settle, something odd came to mind, almost like a voice whipsering into his ear...
How dare that foul woman take her away... The voice hissed quietly, but it sounded quiet like his own.
"Yes, how dare she..." Braoin growled, his face twisting with anger.
How dare she take away what is rightfully yours...
" ... What is mine?" His eyes faded distantly, as he stared into the now starry Sky. "..She... is... mine?"
Yes, you have captured her heart but now she shall flutter away. Someone as powerful as you could make her yours... forever.
"... Forever?" His breathing slowed as his eyes glazed over quite tragically.
Yes. You must break the spell and make her yours!
Braoin blinked. ".. A spell?"
Yes the foul woman placed a spell on her to hate you.. don't you remember?
His eyes glazed in fury, he was right! He closed his eyes to remember, it was so hard for some reason... yes! Her face had twisted into murderous gaze as she shouted 'I hate you!'. "Astra turned her against me! .. but how can I break the spell?"
Kill her.
"What?" He gasped, the idea was preposterous.
It is the only way.. remember?
Once more, it became harder to think clearly but his memory told him it was the only way... right? "..Yes, it is... and then I must counter the spell so that she could see me with true eyes once more..." It was all so perfect.
Braoin picked himself off from the grassy floor as he then fled into the night, his thoughts no longer his own.
"It worked." A much different voice drifted into the night, a form faded out of the darkness, hiding in the trees. " I shall resurrect you my dear Master Erebus and offer you a bride upon your great return! What a wonderful night for murder... and revenge." His dark red hand brushed over quietly a scar that was brandished across his chest, one made by an arrow. "Everything shall fall into place."
It didn't take long for the deed to be done, it was quick and painless... at least on Braoin's behalf.
" Oh my love, please don't cry... " He said softly as the dagger drove deep into her form. "... I'll wash my bloody hands and we'll start a new life." A wicked smile crept onto his face as he lifted the broken and lifeless form of Anastay, stealing her out of her room and into the dead streets.
" I will save you." he said quietly, staring down at her. " I'm sorry for harming you my love, forgive me... but I knew what I had to do, because I'm so in love with you. It's the only way I can save you..." He had taken her to a ruin not far from the town, it was where he felt the safest, as did she. Here is where he felt would be the best place of her rebirth.
...And that was how we had come to the beginning of our story. Braoin had just lit the final candle and with his clouded mind he began the spell work. What the demon, who was named Iahlon, had not accounted for was the bumbling state he had left the gifted Braoin in. Unable to think properly he wasn't capable of casting such a complex spell on what was once Anastay.
" .. the only way to counter a spell of hatred is with that of love." He said, his voice drooped, his expression drowsy. he reached for what he thought was a queen bee, placing it within the cauldron that was within the circle he had created. A burst of magenta smoke errupted out from it.
Coughing, continued to stir, saying the incantation.
Not far from the ruins was Iahlon, he perched himself quietly on a half broken wall... something he had also not accounted for was Astra tracking the trail of Anastay's captor. In hope sof finding her sister before it was too late.
..And to her horror it was.
"No.. no!" Astra cried running, halting before she entered the circle. "What.. what have you done?!"
" I am reversing your foul work!" He yelled, half turning to face her, his hand holding the still dripping dagger extended towards her sharply. "You turned her against me! You made her hate me! and now I must save her from your cruelty!" He now cried, bitter tears flowing down his thin face.
"No..Anastay!" she cried mournfully as she lounged towards him her teeth bared.
They both fell into the circle, blood splattering across the floor once more, but none was his. Astra had fallen on the same dagger that had taken her sister's life. The same sister she had protected all her life. Braoin pushed her off, watching her roll away, coughing in pain.
Iahlon had found the whole spectical amusing, he laughed loudly, revealing his hiding spot.
"You!" Astra wheezed, spotting Iahlon. " I thought had done away with you long ago! This is your fault!"
" Why of course, but do not credit me. I only manipulated my master's new vessel. I am but a lowly servant to my great master Erebus." He smiled, his eyes hallowed and frightful. He raised his hand and Braoin lifted himself from the floor. Iahlon pointed towards the cauldron within the circle and Braoin continued his work.
" Why?" She cried in anguish.
"Why? .. why should I tell you and spoil the fun?" A his unremorseful smile still precedent on his face.
" Oh my lady.. " Astra began quietly.
Iahlon perked up quietly. "What are you doing?"
" I am but a lowly servant of your everlasting love, I grant you a boon. Please save my sister from this fate. Save her with your love..." Her tears streamed down her face as she quietly prayed to her goddess. "Please save her, I shall forever by thy servant in the here after if you answer my plea..."
Silence over took the ruins, Braoin in his zombie like state merely continued his work.
"HA! Some goddess! " Iahlon laughed as demonic his tail flicked. "Where is your whore now?!" A malevolent grin spread across his face.
At that moment the ruins began to shake violently. Iahlon gasped looking left and right terrified, he vanished without a trace before he could see what could happen next. Astra coughed trying her best to keep her ground, she dared not try to move.
The building around them began to crumble, the moment Iahlon had vanish his spell over Braoin had been broken. It wasn't a surprise when he became horror stricken with the sight before him.
"What.. have I done?" He trembled, backing away as a piece of the collapsing ceiling fell before him knocking over the cauldron that contained the combination love and resurrection potion he had concocted, spilling over the lifeless body of Anastay.
The contact of life, love, and death exploded into a fury of magenta and yellow smoke, enveloping the ruins. Braoin, unharmed had appeared miles and miles away from the entire catastrophe. Astra however, had appeared in the streets of Durem, bloody and dying from her fatal wound. In her hands was a tiny wailing baby, at least from what her blurred vision could recognize.
Go forward, follow the black cat, a sweet voice had said quietly in her ear.
With some effort, Astra rose to her feet, her thoughts of only saving the her sister, no matter what the form she was in now. "Sh..It's going to be ok.." She smile sadly down at the tiny baby. "I promised to protect you no matter what, and here I am."
Almost by accident she spotted the sign that lead her to the storefront of Magical Mishaps. "A black cat..." with strength that had almost seemed to have been depelted she began pounding loudly on the door, she stumbled forward as soon as it was open.
He is one to be trusted.
She looked up and smiled. "She is safe with you..." Astra said quietly a relieved smile upon her face as she placed the tiny baby that was once her sister into Jabir's hands. Turning around she stumbled out of the store and began to walk away, talking her final steps as her face hit the paved streets of Durem.

Aphrodite On the outside of Aphrodite's room leading into the MM HQ hall was a dry erase board nailed to the outside, with an assortment of posters of rock bands and foriegn groups plastered to the outside. On the dry erase board was a message written in large print in rainbow of colors.

When off to swim she wears tankinis and bikinis.
On cold days, special long sleeved shirts, long socks, tiny shoes, and overalls with a hole for her wasp 'butt' and wings.
On really cold days she wears a thick jacket with a hoodie and attached mittens, thick pants and wasp butt cover and boots.
Indoor wear include a simple long shirt usualy of a solid color and leggings with a hole in the back for her wasp butt.

Jewlery Worn A silver pentagram fit to her size, the chain is long and the pentagram it self is a bit large, but it's small enough for the littlest mishap!

A black leather collar around her nack that's tied in the back with a white ribbon, the charm in the front is a silver heart with wings. It's a very rare magical artifact, that was given to her by Daisuke. When the area is devoid of magic the charm allows her to become human for her protection, depending on the amount of magic in the area depends on how long or short her transformation is. If it's completely devoid of magick and thus filled with humans, she immeadiately change to her large form... but if a large amount of magic were to come into the area suddenly she would immeadiatly change back.

Now a days she's developed her own sense of style, now that her interests are started to lean towards darker subjects ( which this started as the she really got into FMA. )

Personality: Aphrodite has matured quite alot, she has never once let her size inhibit herself from being heard. Calming down with age, she still tends to explode into a hyperactive speed. She is still very sweet for the most part, and stays relatively quiet when occupied, usually she likes to hum or sing. ( which is the cutest thing!) Aphrodite always speaks her mind to either let you know if somethings wrong, or if she doesn't like something... or if she wants something or just to let you know what she's thinking. She has gotten past the point of throwning tantrums and is nowadays relatively hard to get mad. Though she has given stern faces towards things she doesn't like, or when she doesn't get what she wants, but has matured past the point of failing around like a child... even though she is still one.
slowly, though with outside influences she has become entranced with the occult, horror, and slowly the macabre. ( Catherine and Lenore's influence). And stands unfazed at the sight of blood... though when she is scared, she tends to hide somewhere on a person that she feels safe with. ( As for example with Rex when encountering the ghost of the black dragon, or in Nariko's hair when she was toddler when Cato on many occasion tried to eat her. )
Filled with questions, she is at the time of her life that she is the most curious and loves being in the limelight.
Aphrodite has grown in a unique young lady, with diverse interests and a rather interesting personality.

 [ Pleasant sleep and wildfire dreams][ This door is a magical portal into Catherine's apartment. ] [ The key to our room within HQ. ]The room looks far neater than it was when they first arrived at HQ. Walking into the room the first thing you would see dirently across the room would be a magical door that leads directly into Catherine's apartment, along that wall is a bookshelf with children stories and textbooks. To the right would be a long, short dresser pressed against the wall with a Television set on top of it with an assortment of DVDs, game systems, a jewlery box, and toys arranged neatly on the dresser top. If you look to the left would be a full sized bed with cloud print sheets and a normal white pillow, ontop of the bed is a small mountain of plushies. Which most would find odd seeing that this is a room fit for a 5 inch tall Kid. Next to the bed is a night stand, on top is a small boom box, a blue lava lamp, and a tiny toy chest. Next to the night stand is a CD rack with a small amount of CDs in them ( A good load of BSB tracks, some children's songs, classical music, and music box tracks ), next to the small night stand is a light blue book shelf, and next to that is the door that leads to the bathroom. Next to the door that leads tot he bathroom is a small table in the corner that looks like what would be a minute dressing room, complete with a stage in the middle and a mirror pressed against the wall.
On all four walls, including the ceiling and the doors (excluding the frames) is a room sized mural of a beach.Description of the MuralClouds on the ceiling and the top of the walls, birds could be seen off in the distance, and the ocean began to form around them. Out of the distance a pirate ship was docked and it's flag in full veiw. Mermaids and dolphins were caught in mid-swim off into the horizen, and at the bottom of the wall sandy beaches with tiny shells and a few crabs scattered along it.---  [ This is a wind chime that was hung by the door that leads to the apartment, it's magically enchanted so that a mystical wind blows through it occasionally. The sound soothes Aphrodite when she's stressed. ] [ This dream catcher is hung next to the windchime. It is said that the pure light of the sun cleanses a dream catcher, so every now any then Aph hangs it outside when ever she starts getting wonky dreams. ]   [With the beach theme alot of the beding is very simple.] [ This blue lava lamp is used as a night-lite for Aphrodite.]The ClosetThe closet is actually small armoire, with despite it's size is filled with clothing for Aphrodite and always still has room for more. A second armoire has been added to the table, that is meant for Daisuke.      [Tops and Sweaters]     [Skirts]      [Pants and Shorts]          [Shoes and Socks]

 [ All the things in the world, a girls always got her toys ] [ An Alphonse plushie that Catherine got for Aphrodite, the 11th out of 15 that were being sold!
Alphonse Elric is Aphrodite's favorite character from Fullmetal Alchemist, he sit's neatly on her bed. ] [ This was a gift from Duke... to accompany the Alphonse that Catherine bought. Aphrodite likes to sleep on him when she goes to bed. ]  [ These are prayer dolls that Catherine bought for Aphrodite at the same store Duke bought the Edward plushie. The prayer is happiness, the doll is named Mellow. They are hung over Aphrodite's bed..., though the second one belongs to both Cat and Aph, Cat felt it was better placed in Aphrodite's room. "It feels nice having wishing dolls." ][ A snow globe of Aphrodite's two favorite characters from Naruto, it's on her nightshade. When cranked it plays the song, "Sadness and Sorrow" from Naruto.] [ How many kids do you know own their own jar of dirt? A surprise gift from Bax, after Aphrodite raved on about the new PotC movie! At least she's not saying she hid a 'thump-thump' in it.]  [ Aphrodite has an extensive collection of video games. ][ This PS2 is placed on the short dresser next to the TV in aphrodite's room ][ An Aphrodite sized DDR pad Catherine bought.. it's called "Finger DDR Pad" ]Aphrodite gave many of her old baby things and toys to Catherine for the new babies.-----In a small blue book shelf by Aphrodite's bed, she tries her best to read a book ( or at least a chapter or two ) everynight before going to bed.
