He assumed those two were some of the very old senshi the other had mentioned, those who were over a thousand years old and not from Earth. How interesting...and he also didn't want to go and stare, or ask questions, he wasn't curious enough for either of those things. Instead he was just wandering and ghosting his finger tips over book spines.
"I still don't know what that code thing is. But, if the doors could be sentient than perhaps attacking it is only provoking it, assuring they won't get in. Or maybe a threat to burn the whole place down would work instead. It could go either way, if it's sentient of course." Shrugging as he spoke in a rather preoccupied, distant, manner he didn't care much really. He knew there was some need to this all, a reason behind everything and everyone being here, but he just wasn't involved in all of this like the others were. He also didn't know everything going on either...so there was that.

There was a clear view of the sky for those out In the garden. Earth wasn’t visible from this angle, but a vast sea of stars were. The sky was notably more pink and purple, though it was unclear if it was just the atmosphere of the moon or the magical barrier that protected the palace.
Vines and thorny roses covered much of the garden, making pathways all but impossible to follow in some cases. Badly cracked marble paths were hard to find even when walking on them due to the excessive overgrowth.
Dejanira and Illyria might note that some of the flowers had a strangely foul look and smell to them; while most of the roses were white and red and were heavily entangled with one another, several spots in the garden looked like they were rotting from the bottom.
Fang would find that, despite his best efforts, he could not locate any tools used to tend the garden. Whoever once cared for this place had put them away once, and then never taken them out again. There were no sheds, there were obvious hiding spots. The gardens were simply overgrown with vines and unkempt rose bushes. If other things once grew here, it seemed as though they had been overtaken long ago. However, it was easy to see where some of the vines stretched over parts of the castle, obstructing things from view. Maybe one day, when they had more time, it would be worth trying to clean up the Moon to see what other secrets lay hidden.
Realta’s small size meant she could slip through some of the dense vines with ease, and as she followed her instinct she found herself facing a strange mass of stone, totally shrouded by flowers. As she neared, she would feel a faint hum of power, like something calling to her. As a Mauvian, there was a distant familiarity–it had the aura of something magical.
Close examination would reveal that this was once a fountain, reclaimed by the garden. What was once a woman’s arm, now only rubble, was buried on the ground. In her hand, a spherical, silvery crystal. If Realta touched the crystal, she would see a sudden flash of a golden crescent moon. With some effort, she can detach this crystal–but something about it tells her that it does not belong here. She has a clear image of the Reception Hall, and a sudden pull towards it.
Tempesti’s attentiveness to the area around her, and her scrutiny of the plants meant that she might notice that in the areas where Dejanira and Illyria were investigating, there was an odd discoloring above them, almost as if something had thinned–or punctured–the protective shield around the Moon. Or–maybe it was just a trick of the eye? The longer she looked upwards, the more things seemed to get blurry. In the great beyond, she could see an incredibly distant storm, far away from the Moon, but still too close to comfort.
-
The library was expansive, and the more someone looked, the more they found. While books covered each towering wall, there were an abundance of strange artifacts that had not been raided or damaged over the years. They were scattered on each of the two floors, and while some were more obvious, others seemed like they were somewhat confusing, being neither particularly impressive nor looking to be of much value.
When the Moon Palace trembled, a few books were knocked from their places, but thankfully nothing seemed to have broken.
Madriu and Selenga found little of interest in their searching; they did not open any secret passages nor did they locate any clues worth noting. Madriu found what looked to be an old, half-finished book of crosswords–though the language was impossible to identify. Selenga found a book that looked to be a tutorial to a play what looked to be some sort of strategy game, but the instructions were impossible to read and the images left much to be desired. Someone had scribbled notes and an angry face.
In their searching, Urania, Arcalis, Halle, and Lacille each found a hidden book that, when pulled, gave strange resistance. Each of them, when pulled, made a distinct clicking sound–and yet, whatever they were supposed to open seemed to remain shut. They might not have unlocked everything they needed, but they did confirm that there were hidden passages in the Moon Palace–and they might have been accessible. A strange, silver coin fell out of each of their books. While it is impossible to tell up from down, they are all marked with a crescent moon.
As Aquitania searched what appeared to be a librarian’s workstation, she found that it appeared to be left very tidy and clean, as though someone had cleaned up after their work and just never returned. The drawers behind the station were locked, and though there were no papers or texts left behind to sift through, the desk had a strange, coin-like inlay carved into the side and visible only to those behind the desk. When investigated, the coin pushed just slightly into a recess in the desk and made a distinct clicking sound before falling onto the ground. The silver coin has been marked with a crescent moon. While something nearby has rumbled, as if shifting, it is out of sight and impossible to locate.
Eupheme did not find a secret switch but she did find a strange, handbound journal. It was thin, like many pages had been torn out, and yet it still had a very strong lock on it. Some sort of magic kept it sealed, but someone had hidden it here for safekeeping.
Santa Maria Novella, by luck alone, brushed against a table holding an otherwise unimpressive vase. There was nothing particularly eye catching about it, except when the table jostled, it rattled. Though Santa Maria Novella had intended to find a book, he found himself made suddenly aware of a silver, spherical crystal that had been hidden inside. It pulsed a faint energy, and if Santa Maria Novella touched the crystal, he would see a sudden flash of a golden crescent moon. With very little effort, he can extract the crystal from the vase–but something about it tells him that it does not belong here. He has a clear image of the Reception Hall, and a sudden pull towards it.
-
Within the spire, a distant energy echoed.
Coco would realize that many of the broken out windows were once beautiful pieces of stained glass art. The pieces looked like they would have been stunning if complete, but now they were all broken out and scattered upon the ground. Maybe once, long ago, there was a story in that art. In one of the shards, a beautiful red rose. In another, the fragment of a silver crystal. The biggest piece, strangely enough, looked like a part of the pedestal in the center of the room. There was something off about it, like the artwork wasn’t quite identical, but it was difficult to make out the details. She would need to scrutinize the pedestal in the center of the room and the shard.
As Erytheia inspected the pedestal, he would find that there was a slot–perfectly clean and devoid of the remnants of any dust or debris. It was about six inches long and a quarter of an inch wide. If he looked at the pedestal for long enough, the sparkling moonlight sometimes almost seemed to take the shape of a sword, but if he reached out to touch it, it didn’t appear as though anything were there. Something about the pedestal continued to draw his attention, like there was more that it was hiding. It wasn’t the phantom blade that disappeared from sight after a single blink, there was something more, something hidden. Something reachable.
Grieve came face to face with the single sealed door in the spire, and the curtain of light that blocked it from access. There was something more powerful about this one, more intimidating. While the doors in the Reception Hall felt almost accessible, this one felt impossible. It was only as she stared at the door that she became aware of something vibrating every so slightly through the walls, through the floor. The energy seemed to ricochet throughout the room–always landing on the pedestal. Always staying with the pedestal. And whatever it was hiding.
As Aberdonia investigated the pedestal, he would find it difficult to push his fingers into the six inch long, quarter inch wide slot, but he was at least rewarded with the information that it was entirely smooth inside. He felt a distant power and a strange presence, almost as if someone was watching him.
-
In the Reception Hall, Troilus and Ekström did not find any secret hinges or clues as they examined their respective locations there was the distinct sound of light laughter–tinkling, like bells, and the fluttering of fabric. It felt like someone was standing right behind them, but when they turned to look there was only empty space, and a fading shimmer.
Kaifeng made a worthy effort, but after the first few painful jabs, something in the barrier shifted, like it was turning into a jelly-like state to soften his blow. He felt someone watching him, exasperated. Kerberos’ gentle efforts yielded no greater result, only the light seemed to try and meet his touches. He felt someone watching him, hopefully.
Nectaris felt her ring warm up occasionally, not always in tandem with when she placed it against something, but often when her doubts were the worst. There was the strange sensation of someone trying to reassure her, trying to encourage her to keep going. She had the sensation that she was so close. She was where she needed to be.
Murikabushi’s hand pressed against the door, and the light seemed to try to meet him. It almost felt as though something was pushing back exactly where he was, but there was a strong sensation of hope mixed with disappointment. Something here was sad, and lost.
Pyrrhus’ hand pressed into the door, and he received the same effort back. The more he pushed, the more something pushed back–but it was soft. It felt like fingers trying to lace with his own. There was a strange sensation of forgiveness, and desperation, in the touch.
Thalassa’s magic was unique, and certainly kinder than previous spells, but as had happened before, the curtain of light seemed to shake underneath the spell only to immediately reflect it. Thalassa was struck with sudden exhaustion, nearly to the point of collapse. Briefly, it felt like ghostly arms wrapped around him to hold him up, but he slipped gently through the door. There was a faint sensation of fond reproach, like scolding a naughty child. And yet, there was still so much hope.
Thalassa now feels the effects of mild exhaustion; he can only see in black and white and there is a strange humming in his ears that makes it hard to hear. He feels like his skin is overheating and burning for a few seconds before it fades into the sensation of an unpleasant sunburn.
As Solaris investigated the room, she would find that the Reception Hall was clearly meant to receive people, but she might note that this did not seem to be an entrance hall. There were no doors or walkways that led outside that seemed intended to be a source of arrival so it was easy to infer that this room had some greater purpose in the past. Those who were trusted were permitted to be here, and in her investigations she might feel something of a peaceful presence, like she was being welcomed or invited in.
Though there were no keys for her to find, there was a faint electric hum that she picked up on, like a distant radio signal that filtered into her mind when she passed through the perfect point at the perfect second. Like a message shooting directly into her brain, a distant image of the long expired Silver Millennium flashed through her mind. She saw a memory of someone–a faceless guard, not royalty, holding up what looked to be a holographic card in front of one of the doors; once, it seemed, there were keypads situated by each door. As the vision shifted to the future, Solaris would realize that there was absolutely no sign of them in the present.
As Aruna pressed her hand against the barrier, she heard a soft sigh, almost as if in relief, and something strange happened; Erytheia’s sword and Kaifeng’s spade disappeared entirely into the barrier and then suddenly manifested within the ceiling, in a new little circle of light. They fell to the ground, each of them colliding with a decorative pot that sat on a pedestal against the wall. The pot shattered into a few pieces, but beneath it was a crescent moon–and three circular dents, carefully carved in equal sizes and appearing as though they were meant to hold three spherical objects.
Quote:
Attacking the barrier seems to make things more susceptible to examination but anyone who attacks will be afflicted with the previous negative effects and will inflict additional negative effects on themselves and the others who acted aggressively. Please see both bolded notes after Pyrrhus, Urania, and Thalassa’s magic to understand how this will affect your character. However anyone who attacked/will attack the barrier will receive a +1 dice roll bonus to give to one other character to aid in their investigation roll. You can only receive this boost one time, no matter how often you attack, and once you OOCly select a character, you cannot swap it out. Please include in your post which character you are giving your bonus roll to. OOC these bonuses can be stacked but you must post to give this bonus before the player rolls for investigation. Please coordinate with other players to make sure you can post the bonus before they roll and clearly state in your post who is getting the bonus. Thalassa is the only eligible person to give a +1 in this way at this time.
Everyone who attacked the barrier in this post or the last now also feels a wave of exhaustion crash into them; it may temporarily knock them unconscious or make them dizzy. They will feel winded or low on energy for the remainder of the RP.
Anyone investigating the Moon/looking for additional information (such as books, a hidden switch, or other information must roll one 10 sided dice. You can only roll once; please do not delete any posts. You must include what you are investigating.
There are four major areas of the Moon Palace available (The Reception, the Gardens, the Library, the Spire) so please make sure to include where you are if investigating! At this point in time, all event related items have been found in the Reception, the Gardens, and the Library; something is still hidden in the Spire. Players can continue to investigate these areas but will not find event information.
If your character has an Article of Clarity it can be used to gain one additional piece of information related to your investigation once during this RP; the information may not be event related depending on your investigation. If you have questions about items, please PM The Space Cauldron or DM Xigglet on Discord!
You will have until ~7PM EST Wednesday, at which point a mule post will be made!
As the palace shook, Aruna grabbed onto Murikabushi's sleeve to steady herself, her other hand still pressed gently to the barrier. She smiled softly as the barrier seemed to hear her, responding to her gentle request. "You do want to help us, don't you?" Her voice was soft and gentle, as if trying to soothe someone far too weary of waiting. "You've probably been waiting a really long time for someone, haven't you? It's okay now, we're all here. We're listening."
She let her hand leave the barrier and she made her way over to the revealed pedestal. She carefully inspected the indents, her finger brushing against the smooth, curved indentations. "Three indentations. Maybe the others found whatever goes in here?" She looked over at her friends, motioning for them to come over and take a look as well. Perhaps they had seen something like this, or knew more what they should be looking for.

Not rolling for investigation just yet, she's just looking at the pedestal for now and commenting
There had been a moment of discontent when Karaka arrived on the Moon. The sight of so many other members of Order attempting to find their way into places that should remain sacrosanct unnerved the redhead. Okay, she had to give them a pass because apparently this was in an effort to gain information that would be beneficial to saving Earth, but at the same time, was there a need to make it a contest by offering a cash reward? That just seemed like the wrong incentive to motivate others. Taking in the table laden with food, some of it decent in her opinion, had Karaka pausing just long enough to give more than a cursory glance at the selection before she caught sight of a familiar figure that was heading away from her.
Moving away from the table, yet content to linger behind those that were moving up a stairway off to the side of the hall that she arrived in did Karaka wait. She didn't want to rush those that had exited the reception hall but neiter did she want to wait too long. The senshi and knights that lingered behind drew a concerned glance as it seemed as if the curtains of light didn't appreciate being attacked. Was it their own fault to begin with though? Who would want to attack a barrier without knowing the results? With that question in her mind Karaka began to climb the stairs. Her gaze was sharp as she gently pressed her fingers to the wall in order to feel if there were any textured differences. The stairs themselves that spiralled upwards were given a cursory glance before she emerged onto the level that it seemed everyone else was on. The architect behind the construction of this place would have made a notable name for themselves had they lived on Earth at the moment. Everything screamed of the elegance from the era of when a civilization had occupied the Moon.
Waving to the familiar sight of Aberdonia did Karaka begin to walk around the room. Her gaze fell on the sight of the plinth where it looked like a sword had once resided before she took in the sight of the shattered windows. Finding nothing that seemed to scream at her as being out of the ordinary did Karaka move closer to Aberdonia before she spoke to the senshi of Papyrus, "find anything of use?"
Coco popped into her human form and she started to look over the pedestal and she said "Hey everyone come help me I think this is the answer I just gotta figure out how it works." She frowned looking for a control panel or something like that. She didn't think she was going to be able to do this on her own, luckily she wasn't alone there were lots of other order members who had come to help. She wondered who had broken the windows and what they were trying to hide. Someone had to have been here and didn't want them to get into that barrier.
Lacaille arrived in time to help Coco after she was done she took the coin from the library in case it was import for figuring out the rest of this mystery she was glad books were part of the answer. It was like in a way the people of the moon knew that knowledge was important. If she ever became a royal that would be her guiding light knowledge but not battle like the greek goddess of Athena. She stopped and sighed perhaps it would be like that since this battle with chaos never seemed to have an ending point. She wondered how the senshi of the past felt about it.
Dejanira was worried and she said as much when she arrived in the spire "I think we should be careful I'm not sure we are going to find anything good in that barrier, we should tread carefully." She said seriously "The garden there is something wrong I'm not sure what it is but I have a bad feeling we are going to have to fight before all is said and done." Then she went to help look things over in the spire. She wanted to help and since she was an Eternal now she felt like she was in the right point of her power that she should help.
Aberdonia looked over his shoulder briefly and waved at Karaka as he spotted her arriving in the Spire. "Not yet, but I've got a feeling there's something with this pedestal." He got to his feet as a Mauvian and a senshi in a skirt with books on it both arrived to start investigating, before turning to the knight in white and pastel rainbows carrying a sword, who also seemed to be looking speculatively at the pedestal.
"Sooo...I've got an idea, Sir Knight. Could you try sticking your sword in the slot and seeing if that does anything? I didn't find anything in the slot, but that doesn't preclude there being a mechanism that could loosen something."
As he spoke, his eyes raked back over the pedestal, looking for something he'd missed, something that could be the key that they needed to be able to move forward in looking for clues to the strange storms and omens.
Chibi Sailor Aquitania of Courage Location: Retrieving coin from the Library before taking a look at the pedestal in the Reception Hall
Aquitania sighed with mild irritation. Just her luck, the librarian left work on their last day, and had to be neat and tidy about it, oh, nooo, couldn't even leave behind personal knickknacks. It would be worthy and respectable if it wasn't so frustrating right now. The drawers were locked, too--and then the ambient light glinted off a coin inlaid in the desk, only visible from behind it, placed in amongst the little shelves and cubbies that lined the inside front of the desk.
Blinking owlishly at it, the chibi senshi pressed it. It made no sound, but there was a distant click, before the coin clattered to the floor. Reaching down, she plucked a silver coin, imprinted with the design of a crescent moon, and looked around for the source of the click, which did not present itself.
But she did see other people heading back toward the Reception Hall, so, huffing a bit about the strange little discovery, she delicately popped the coin into subspace and made her way back with the others, to where she saw a senshi in an earth-toned fuku with bright red ribbons was examining a pedestal that hadn't been there before. Making her way over, she cleared her throat, and asked, "What are you looking at, and where did that come from?"
She didn't want to startle the older girl, but she was very curious about the unfamiliar pedestal, with its three perfectly matched indentations, and crescent moon design. It didn't look like her coin would fit there, it looked like orbs of some kind fit there, so she didn't retrieve her coin from subspace. Whatever the coin's purpose, she could figure that out later.

Sailor Urania
Urania heard a click. The books were more than books. Some seemed to be connected to something. Something to make that click sound.
Perhaps a severed passage? But nothing opened up in the room.
Urania wondered what could be hiding. A doorway? A hall? A room? Or maybe none of these. It could be a hidden object like the coins or the strange crystal Santa Maria Novella found.
“Oh! Wow. A crystal. I wonder what it is for.”
Urania switches from searching the books to looking at the artifacts.
The slot where a sword once was could be described as pristine. It was unlike some parts of the palace that showed the ravages of time. It was as if this pedestal was special in some way that the knight of Cosmos did not know.
How had the slot been kept so perfectly?
Then he noticed the moonlight for the first time. Perhaps it was the fatigue he began to feel, but he thought he saw something in the light. Was it… a sword?
“Can anyone else almost see a sword in the light? I think there may be more to this pedestal.”
He tried to clear his head. He turned to answer the question from the senshi.
Erytheia is trying to place his sword in the slot.
“Yes. Let me go see if I can summon it.”
It came back to his hand. Someone must have freed it. Or maybe the moon finally let it go.
Erytheia is trying to place his sword in the slot.
Coco and Lacille both watch closely to see if putting something in the pedastal would help with this mystery. Coco turned into a human and she jumped up and down and then said "Oh good idea maybe we need a key, if that sword doesn't work I bet we need something to put into it."
Lacille cleared her throat and said "I found a coin in the library how big are the holes? If they are too big for the sword to fit maybe it is a coin that goes in."
Her confusion on the room was growing in own way as she'd wandered--less of a waiting room, or a lobby, or even a sort of information front desk area, but a place beyond such sections of the Moon Place, if they'd ever existed. Not everyone got in here, did they? She'd almost expected to feel uneasy, a foreigner who didn't go through all the proper channels to be here. She didn't recall ever even visiting the Moon before everything went... chaotic... But instead, she felt a gentleness in the air, a welcoming sensation. Peaceful.
Was something here, after all..?
She froze as her ears picked up a strange sound, a hum that wasn't unpleasant, and yet... it was brief, a right place right moment sort of sensation, as she saw the room... differently. Someone was standing by a door, a guard though how she knew that she wasn't entirely sure. They held a card aloft and... ah. That was how they got in. Her gaze moved to the keypad. It made sense. Simple, but effective. She blinked, and the room was as it was since her arrival, but when her gaze returned to the spot... nothing. No keypad. Were they removed? Damaged? She frowned, moving closer to where she'd seen the now missing keypad by one of the doors, she looked if there was any sign to what might have happened to them. Heck, scanning the ground, she huffed a small laugh at the notion of trying to find a randomly lost holographic card on the ground...
The sound of pottering shattering, though, made her jump, turning to see the... weapons? The pedestal was interesting. Just... needed to figure out what went in there. Yay....
The Space Cauldron
attempted 'wtf happened to the keypads' + "lol maybe someone dropped their card--" look around
Ah, perks of being a Mauvian! Realta was grateful that she was able to slip through the denser clusters of vines, hoping the others weren't getting too entangled... Yet, as she moved through the overgrown garden, something sort of... prickled in the back of her mind. She trotted forward, following after it--it wasn't unpleasant, but it felt... not quite like a call, but a gut feeling. Keep going. Sliding beneath another cluster of thick vines, she paused, ears perked up as she took in the flower-covered mound of... stone? Again, her senses tingled, but this one she knew, in general terms--there was magic here. Carefully, curiously, she padded forward, ears flicking this way and that, tail moving much the same.
An old fountain. Her nose twitched, and she eyed the mass of stone and rubble, wondering what shape it might have once taken. She circled it slowly, searching for the source of that delicate, yet impossible to ignore sensation--ah! Her pupils widened as she zeroed in on the source of that sort of call, immediately pouncing on the protruding bit of some poor statue's arm. Her tail flicked about in delight, peering at the crystal it offered up. She felt no danger emanating from it, or anything else here really, and so didn't hesitate much to lightly press her paw to it. The sudden vision of that oh so famous symbol made her stand straighter, ears perked forward as she peered at the crystal. One that... didn't belong here. No. She could almost see it--the Reception Hall. Her tail swayed, and Realta looked up at the mass of stone, then down to the hand of the once likely breathtaking statue. Lightly, she nudged the cold hand with her forehead. "Thank you for keeping this. I think this might help us find information we need to keep Earth safe. I'll take it where it needs to go, but thank you for watching over it all this time."
No, she didn't think the statue was someone. No, she knew it was cold, cold stone, as it always was. But her gentle words, and simple act of gratitude, were made towards the presence that seemed to still linger in this place. She'd no idea what it was... but she felt no danger from this place. Be it some entity, or simply the pure will that lingered on as protective magic--there were endless possibilities, and she hadn't the slightest idea on where to start with it. But she felt it was at the very least best to give thanks to it.
Carefully, she took the crystal between her teeth, needing to pull and push at the stone a bit before the crystal finally came loose. She held it in her mouth still, between her teeth, careful--for both her sake, and it's, though she figured she'd likely sooner chip a tooth than chip the crystal. Still. Some old, instinctive pride welled up in her as she made her way out of the garden once more, tail high and ears perked forward, a merry trot in her step as she carried the crystal to the Reception Hall. It'd been... a successful hunt, in its own way, and she felt proud of it, happy to be bringing the crystal back to where she felt it belonged.
That was the sort of feline-proud trot and posture she remained in as she made her way into the room, moving near Aquitania and Aruna--both she knew, though the latter only from the gathering shortly back. Still, it was good to see her present--it was good to see how many people in general were here, really. Be it for money or what, they were here and that's all that counted in her book. Giving a muffled greeting due to the crystal in her mouth, she gently rubbed against Aquitania's leg before moving towards the pedestal....
Ah. Her tail twitched in annoyance, eyeing the height of the thing, before she gave a heavy sigh of disappointment, pulling her magic about her, and lightly tossed the crystal up into the air...
And easily caught it in her hand as her form resettled into that of the six-foot tall humanoid woman in a dancer's attire and sparkling silver chains and accessories, her tail still flicking in annoyance. "Not everything is Mauvian-sized," she told the two senshi in a dry tone, setting the crystal gently in one of the indents in the pedestal.
Fang frowned when he didn't even find any tools—well, that was him out of ideas for the moment, then. He whined in frustration, then shook himself vigorously and went back to the snack table to take angry bite out of a cookie. Why was he so useless? All he wanted to do was help, but he couldn't even do that. He wasn't smart. He couldn't put clues together, if he even found them or recognized them as clues. He didn't know what he was doing at all. There wasn't anything here to fight, and that was all he was good for. Physical acts. Not anything mental. Frustrated tears pricked at his eyes and he shuddered, wiping at them quickly and hoping nobody was looking at him.
He took another angry bite of the cookie and swallowed without really chewing or tasting it. Grinding down on it, destroying something, even if it was a natural sort of thing to do, made him feel a tiny bit better.
Fang just wanted to be good. He didn't want to be just some... big, strong guy who got pointed at something by a smarter guy to break it. But he always felt so small and stupid whenever he left the safety of his home with Zac, or his friend Kiyoshi's home. Understanding the world never came easy to him, no matter how hard he tried.
Taking another cookie, he forced the thoughts away and came to the barriers again, staring intently at it as if it would just write its secrets on the surface. Maybe he'd get one of those... "lightbulb moments" if he looked at stuff long enough? Actively searching clearly didn't work for him. Maybe passive observation would...? Or it would just frustrate him further, but if he needed to be pointed at the barrier and attack it like some of the others had, he would listen to the people smarter than him.
Selenga huffed at the book he'd found. Some kind of... he guessed it was something similar to a Dungeons and Dragons manual? Placing it to the side, he walked out of the library and into the spire. There were so many people here, he wasn't sure what else he could theoretically do—but it seemed like others were finding what was needed, based on the excited fluttering activity he could see.
Once in the spire, he began to observe the room. The pedestal had enough people hanging around it... or did it? He came over, gently easing his way in among the small crowd, and looked carefully at it. A slot was visible. Erytheia was trying to put his sword in it. Selenga frowned a little, but it seemed to make sense. Though... what was this, some kind of King Arthur thing? Inherit the Moon Kingdom? He squatted to examine the bottom of the pedestal. Maybe there was some kind of symbol to be pressed here, or something like that. Or a "puzzle piece" to place there, like some Indiana Jones thing.
