Hannah Carrington
Mei Xing

"I'll check the lockers with the others. Why don't you go talk to Dr. Hadley and see if he has any ideas?" Mei suggested hoping that if Hannah had a chance to just talk with someone who is a bit calmer then perhaps she herself will finally wind down.

Hannah, however, looked startled if not betrayed by the suggestion. "I thought you wanted to stick together." Worry laced her voice and all Mei could do to settle the frantic thoughts was to place her hands on both Hannah's shoulders.

"It's not that." She tried to reassure her friend. "This place is set up like a horror film or a haunted house. It's typical for things to pop out of things like that and I don't want you having a heart attack or passing out."

The reasoning was sound and yet Hannah still felt the urge to argue but instead of trying to change Mei's mind, she nodded her head. "Ok," there was a long pause before either of them moved. "Please just hurry back, don't go off too far alone. If others start returning then you return too."

"Deal..." Mei gave Hannah's shoulders a firm squeeze before turning to go see if there were any tools or something useful stashed away in someone's locker.

Anxiety washed over her in waves and for what felt like an eternity she stood vigil until Mei was no longer in sight before seeking out the Doctor to find out if he had any suggestions for what to do next.

RESULTS:

Option One:

As soon as you step into the stall, blood starts bubbling up from the toilet, spilling out the sides and puddling on the floor. You really don't feel like peeing anymore.

Option Two:

Sets of clothing, random belongings... As you rifle through the lockers, you don't seem to be finding anything that could help you out. As you pop open another locker, only to find yourself staring at the decapitated head of a young woman. Her bright blue eyes lock onto yours, and she starts to scream.

The piercing sound and the shock of what you're seeing is enough to make you slam the locker shut again. The sound cuts off immediately, and, unable to help yourself, you cautiously open it back up. There is no head. Just an empty locker...

Maybe you didn't get enough sleep last night?

Option Three:

"What? Oh, yes." Dr. Hadly gives his head a shake, clearly distracted. "If we continue through the locker room, we'll pass through the blood bank. Then we should be near the entrance."

Following Dr. Hadly's advice, you dutifully move through the locker room towards the door on the other side. You open it slowly, and the hallway beyond is pitch black. It seems like the emergency lights here have failed to turn on...

Do you...

Option One
Move as quickly as you can to get to the other side.

Option Two
Take your time, despite the unnerving darkness that lays ahead.

Option Three
Wait for the others to go first.

Ilian Jones - Option two

”Don’t tell me what to do,” Ilian really tried not to snap at Jericho because he wasn’t angry at his friend. He was pissed at Obsidian. “Sorry,” he hissed through his teeth, taking a moment to lift his hands to rub through his hair, trying to just breathe as they headed towards the now dark hall. He wasn’t in a hurry and the dark didn’t scare him, but they needed to keep going.

Sorry,” he said again, as he reached out to gently hit the back of his wrist to Jericho’s arm in as friendly of a gesture as he could manage with the stress he felt.

“I’ll get you out. All of you,” he insisted, still trying to keep himself calm over the fact that Obsidian had them all trapped here. “We find this guy, and I can’t promise I won’t go after him,” he warned, knowing things might get rough.

“If something happens to me, I need you to make sure Lovely is okay, alright? And that’s just in general. Not just tonight, understand?” Because he didn’t know when he was going to get in over his head.

Sidney James - Oxygen Tank (1d12 damage)

(option 3)

At least the doctor seemed to have an idea where to go. Past the locker room was a darkened hallway, uncomfortable and ominous. After the things she had already seen, Sidney was not excited to be the first into it. Clutching her oxygen tank like a life line, she hung near the back of the group, letting the rest go first.

Alexandre Evans Option 2

Alexandre had followed his cousin, half asleep and exhausted, into the locker rooms. It was best the cousins keep together, especially in the case they might have to power up at some point. He wasn't going to leave his elder cousins side if he could help it.....although once in the locker rooms the call to take a piss was inevitable really.

The only problem was the blood - lots of it. Lovely...that sort of really churned his stomach and had him backing out of the stall. "Damn it..."

Backing up he chanced a glance around wondering if there was somewhere else he could handle that need. With the doctor deciding it was time to move out, and people moving to do something, Alexandre was really curious if he couldn't just relieve himself elsewhere. But he doubted that. Damn it.

Moving towards the group he headed off, taking his time. "Need a bathroom soon." He whispered towards his cousin. "Or I'm improvising." And he really didn't care, manners be damned right now.

Hannah Carrington
Mei Xing

Mei's gut told her what to expect and yet when the decapitated head of a woman rolled out of the locker and into her hands, she couldn't help but scream and throw it back into the locker.

Even though she was a hallway away, Hannah still jumped when Mei's shrill scream rang loud enough that she thought her friend was behind her. Despite her better judgment, or because of it, she was quick to leave the Doctors' side and hurried towards where her friend had disappeared. "Mei... Mei!? Are you ok?"

Visibly shaken, Mei eyed the locker after realizing that the head was no longer screaming. Hesitantly she opened the locker, expecting it to start up again except there was silence and upon further inspection. "I-I'm fine, it was probably just my imagination."

Hannah looked skeptical but decided not to press it. "Mr. Hadly said that we need to go through the locker room, pass through the blood bank and then we'll be near the entrance." Sounded simple enough but when she glanced in that direction; there was an unnerving darkness that lay ahead.

"I think we should take our time and let others go first." Mei suggested, still shaken from the locker ordeal.

"Probably wise." Hannah agreed...

Jericho Cross { Broken Wheelchair Fragment } Take his time

This was perhaps, the main crux of things for him. Jericho's fists clenched, his shoulders tensed, his jaw set. Though he picked his way carefully through the darkness, his mind was elsewhere. As Jericho, he could just drag Ilian away from danger. Sort of. Even if he fought, Jericho was still bigger, stronger... he could make it work.

As Seraphinite? There was nothing he could do.

It enraged him to no end, set him on edge and he knew he could do stupid s**t when he got nervous about Jet's safety. That he was a General meant little to Jericho--he was still Ilian, and like hell was he going to sit by and just watch as he got into trouble. Or beaten. Or broken. Or worse.

But the ******** could he do as Seraphinite? A ******** lieutenant. Couldn't even teleport Jet's a** out of there.

He gave a small snort--the tone akin to a laugh in the stressful situation--at the light hit against his wrist. Before either of them could move further on, Jericho threw his arm around Ilian's shoulders quickly. A half-hug, but a tight hold, as he said in a rough voice, "You're not alone in this. You never were, and like ******** hell will I ever let you be."

He didn't want to say anything concerning keeping an eye out for Lovely. He didn't want to talk about this s**t. It took him a few swallows, and a tighter grip on his friend, and releasing him, before he grit out, "Won't need to, because you'll be back home tonight, so don't ******** start." There was a beat, and Jericho knew it wasn't the right thing to say. "...you've got my word. If I can't get you back home, I'll at least make sure things keep going ok there." It wasn't just referring to Lovely, or just the apartment. It was a blanket statement. Words he didn't want to focus on, didn't want to say, but his word was given.

And Jericho was not someone who went back on his word if he was still breathing.

Cabhan Douglas { Phone Cord & Phone } Take his time

Cabhan followed behind slowly, keeping his eyes straining against the darkness, trying to avoid tripping over s**t. He could hear Jericho and Ilian talking, though he didn't even attempt to make out their words. If he was meant to hear, he would.

Instead, he kept glancing towards Cass, letting his hand brush against her now and then to make sure she was still there, and ok, and just... they needed to get out. Everyone was tense and liable to go for each other's throats. Not a fun time he wanted to deal with.

Hux Evans ~ Phone Cord & Phone ~ Option 2

Hux had been a bit worried when Alex split off to go to the restroom part of of the room, worried that something might befall him when he was still out of it, but he continued to look through the lockers. He opened the next locker after turning his attention fully back to the task at had and bit his lip hard enough to make it bleed to stop a scream from coming out of his mouth to match the heads. He slammed the locker shut, stood there panting with wide eyes for a moment, then opened it back up when the sounds stopped only to find it empty.

Hux blankly stared in the locker for a moment before backing up and meeting back up with Alex. "Might want to try and hold it until we get out." He said back, still wild eyed from his scare, as they followed the group. He was just about calming down when they got to the darkened hallway so he lightly grabbed his cousin's hand so they wouldn't get separated and moved slowly into the darkness.

Shahar Montague - Scalpel - Option 2

At least the doctor knew where he was going. Shahar was relieved to have wandered in his direction. Through the locker room Shahar tromped obediently, fingers twitching with an addict's need.

The hall was dark, but after this, they would be near the entrance. She wanted to be out of here. She wanted to be done with this. She wanted a drink.

This was some bull s**t. Tromping carefully through the darkness, not wanting to step on some misplaced IV or something, she grumped.

Please Quote Shahar. She is open for interaction.

Derrick Keenan Option 1

Dr. Hadly still seemed pretty distracted though. But that wasn't surprising. His daughter had been in the hospital all night too probably and he wasn't sure what had happened to her.

It was suggested by him though that they head to the blood bank and so Derrick went, not really caring if he was first or not. However, something from the toilets spooked him or at least he heard something coming from the toilets, and sprinted towards the blood bank, intending on getting the heck out of this place.

RESULTS:

Option One:

Anything can happen in the dark, so it's best to hurry and get it over with, right?

As you dash down the hallway, it doesn't take long to realize the floor is coated with some slippery substance. You happen to notice this once your legs give out from under you and you end up sliding most of the remainder of the hallway, your body now covered in the wet, thick liquid you've slipped on.

Once you enter the next room, the dim lights from the emergency system reveal that you've been slipping and sliding through a large pool of blood. The bags littering the floor reveal that this blood came from the donation drive that took place on Saturday.

Nice to know the blood was put to good use, right?

Option Two:

You take your time making it down the dark hallway, careful not to slip on the wet floor like the ones ahead of you do. Your shoes are now covered in blood but at least your clothes aren't saturated in it...

Option Three:

You decide to play it safe because apparently you don't learn your lesson from all of the earlier "play it safe" options.

As you stand there at the entrance of the hallway, a familiar voice of a loved one is suddenly whispering into your ear, "They want to leave you behind. You're a burden - a hassle to look after. They're better off without you...."

After that uplifting message delivered by a faceless voice you can't seem to locate, you decide it best to catch up to your companions. Randomize a number between 1-2. If you randomize a 1, you slip and fall through the blood. If you randomize a 2, you successfully make it through the hallway without falling.

You now appear to be in the blood bank, of all places, though you might have guessed that based on the massive amount of blood sitting out in the hallway. You pass by the freezers and racks of insulated coolers, finding yourself faced with yet another decision.

Up ahead, there are two identical doors. The one on the left is marked with a smeared smiley face, drawn in what appears to be a fair amount of blood. The one on the right looks the same, save for the fact that the face is scowling.

Neither look appealing, but it appears you have no choice. Doctor Hadly is pinching the bridge of his nose with a pensive look on his face - clearly he's having difficulty remembering which door leads to the exit.

Do you....

Option One
Take the door marked with a bloody smiley face.

Option Two
Take the door marked with a bloody frowny face.

Derrick Keenan Option 2

Today was definitely curse word day it seemed as he tripped over... something and landed in what seemed to be some sort of red liquid. And unfortunately some of it also got in his mouth which in fact revealed that it was blood. He quickly spit it out and tried to get up as well as he could, though it was still hard considering that the whole place seemed to be covered in it.

He decided to try and block out the possibility that they hadn't screened their blood donors and caught up with the rest of the group to the two marked doors, wondering which one to take. He decided to go with his gut and went with the frowny face one, mostly because he was sure that happy face was trying to troll you. And the frowny face looked far less disturbing.

Ilian Jones - Option two

Ilian didn’t expect Jericho to throw his arm over his shoulders, and let out a small noise of surprise, nearly crumpling under the weight of his friend’s arm. He looked up in surprise, but didn’t say anything right away because it was obvious that Jericho had always felt strongly when it came to trying to protect him. Why, Ilian had no idea. He didn’t think he was worth protecting, but Jericho had always been a second brother to him.

“Thank you,” he mumbled quietly in the darkness, glad that even though he obviously didn’t want to talk about it, Jericho was still agreeing. He was still listening to him. And he knew Jericho was always good on his word, even if their lives pulled them apart more often than not these days.

“By the way,” he glanced up at his friend with a grimace, “Lovely is already pissed at me, so could we just tell him I was at your place and not… stuck here?” It was worth a shot.

It was pretty bad that Ilian was a negaverse General and still had to worry about his not-boyfriend/roommate getting pissed with him for going missing.

Of course, they didn’t have much time to talk in between, since arriving at the blood bank was more horrifying than he would have liked. Ilian lifted his hand to cover his mouth, feeling queasy at the smell of everything. He didn’t like the smell of blood. He could tolerate the sight, but smell he couldn’t get over so easily.

“This door,” he said to Jericho under his breath, heading towards the door with the frown, if only because it was the closest to him at the time. He just wanted to get out of there.

Candice Shermon - Phone Cord & Phone - 1d4 - (( Posted too slow, but would have been Option 2 )) - Option 2 again (( Frowny face ))

"Oh my god." Instead of actually using the restroom, the toilet seemed to... use her in a sense. The toilets, instead of being filled with water, was with blood. The desire to go retracted, but Candice was pissed. Part of her thought that someone may have died and caused the blood, but there was the alternative of someone wasting a bunch of donated blood that could save lives.

Candice left the stall and washed her hands. She went to Dr. Hadly where others were already talking to him. They were to make their way down a dark hallway towards the entrance. Paranoid, Candice chose to take her time down the hallway. Nothing happened going through the blood bank, but the floor was slippery. Did they waste the blood here too?

Eventually they approached the two doors. Both were hauntingly painted in blood, but Candice chose the frowny face door. She honestly didn't care what was behind it. Part of her hoped that there would be a Negaverse agent there. She needed to kick someone's a**.
