Personality: Amitorlin in a shy, quiet mare. She avoids contact with most Soquili if possible, but if she's approached she's polite and soft-spoken. Her voice is barely above a whisper at anytime. Being a kirin, she's extremely aware of the life energy of those around her. She never kills anything if possible, including plants, so she prefers to eat fallen fruit whenever she can. She it resorts to it, she will nibble on leaves and the tops of grasses in moderation enough it doesn't interfere with the plants' lifecycle.
History: Very little is known of Ami. She appeared from another land across the ocean many years ago and since she's taken up home in the valley. She has rarely been spotted with other Soquili, save the stallion Sequoyah.

Personality: Dahlia is spunky, enthusiastic, and fun-loving. She’s very naïve from being raised by her two protective fathers, and she has a passion for exploring and having fun. She has no immediate desire for a mate or a family, but she’s prone to be flirtatious, even though she doesn’t even really know she’s doing it. She’s yet to loose her innocence in life, as she is still very young. She does not know about the ‘birds and the bees’ – therefore she things there is nothing strange about not having a mother.
History: Very little is known about her mother, except she was a wind Soquili that arrived to these lands pregnant. One can only guess her mate was a ground Soquili because Dahlia was born without wings. Dahlia’s mother gave birth to two baskets before an unknown Skinwalker slaughtered her (and presumably ate her as her body was never found) and destroyed one of the baskets in the bloody struggle. Xandir and Sequoyah came across the aftermath, and, seeing the discovery as an omen, took the remaining living basket with them to raise as their own. Updated 2/18/08: Dahlia is now a fully grown mare, though she stills has much of her charm and innocence as a filly. She has not connected the dots as to why she has two daddies while most other foals have a mommy and a daddy. She has made several friends, most notably the stallion Aureate, who she cannot quite place what he makes her feel...Update 7/15/08: Dahlia found herself pregnant by Aureate, and mothered two beautiful foals of her own! Update 6/29/09 Dahlia's broken heart is slowly mending. She is trying to love again, and has found comfort in a handsome stallion named Versailles. They have recently had two baskets together!

Personality: Despite the dark stain in her lineage, the fact that her father was raised in a mostly well-adjusted herd, her grandmother was a pure, sweet unicorn, and her mother is a sweet, artistic mare has tempered the potential darkness out of Calligraphy. Her father, Sumi-e is an awkward stallion, quiet and generally uncomfortable around strangers because he has a difficult time expressing himself. Her mother is an artistic, friendly mare. Calligraphy got all of that artistic nature from her mother with the unusual brushpaint influences of her father and grandmother.
Her hooves are perpetually dripping with black paint, and she seems to have the innate ability to create temporary images out of the paint - such as small butterflies that flit around her. Because she was raised by Sumi-e, who was never the best with conversations and words, Calligraphy can express herself much better with these images than words. She prefers to 'draw' her feelings and stories than tell them.
History: Calligraphy is the daughter of Sumi-e and Sheep Heavenly. She was raised by her father, Sumi-e, in Sequoyah's herd.

Personality: While she does not bear the wings that her mother, Avalon the angeni of Freedom, has - she has alwyas been hard to restrain. She is truly at home in the forsts, flitting through the trees almost as if she's flying. She is prone to exploring and wandering, much to her adopted parents' consternation. She is full of spirit - her stubbornness almost as untameable as she is physically. She is full of life and wonder.
She's never seen another Cerynei, and so isn't quite sure why she has traits that seem to be more like the deer in the forest than her herdmates. She is fascinated by the wildlife of the forests.
History: Flidais is the product of a chance encounter between Beltane and Avalon during Beltane's quest to discover the source of the fires that ravaged the Ceryneis' forest home. Avalon, the angeni of Freedom, is a spirit of the moment and experience, and she enjoyed a momentary tryst with the cerynei. However, Avalon was never cut out for motherhood - wanting no ties or responsibility limiting her personal freedom, even by family. She abandoned her baskets near a populous area so that they would be cared for by another. When the basket was found abandoned by Xandir, he leapt on the opportunity to bring it back home to his lovemate, Sequoyah to hopefully forstall his talk about siring foals of his own with a surrogate.
