With exaggerated care, SCIENCE loaded two syringes into the gun, shooting glances back towards the ammo table to make sure the Hare saw just how careful she could be.
She took aim and shot. Down went one bat, and the other syringe fell pitifully short of the second bat. SCIENCE could practically hear the tsking from the ammo table.

Rex was just going to take a minor break from the shooting. the burning in his eyes needed a break. Just a couple of minutes to relax and then it was back to the grind, sweeping a few more darts back into the ammunition loader.

SCIENCE eyed the Hare as she walked back to the ammo table, wondering if she'd passed muster. The Hare stared at her for a moment, then handed over five syringes.
"You've got five bats left, so here's five syringes. Make them count, missy!"

She was determined to be of use to her party. This should would not fail at. Taking aim she let a shot go, just missing the bat and pouting afterwards.

The next set of shots went helter skelter, hitting a tree with a thump and ricocheting back toward his thigh. It was a taste of his own medicine that made him yawn.

He'd gotten GS's message all right. It was what lead him to the area the bats were swarming in the first place. The instructions given to him by the Batty Mad Hatter had him slightly cross--he was there to find Lute, not deal with flying rodents--but the gun was shoved into his hands... and he had to admit. It would be a good way to get rid of some frustration. He grabbed as many darts as he could before setting off.

A tall man, his skin is dark and eye a bright gold color. Two sets of black horns curve upward from a mass of curly, short-cut pale hair. BridgesBurn has taken on a Gryphon coat of black and gold accents. The black and gold hat is accented by a golden feather. A loose white shirt can be seen under the coat, along with red pants and a heavy brown belt. An eyepatch over his right eye completes the look.
Okay! One more bat was left! SCIENCE took two of the precious syringes, and loaded them in the gun. And nailed it! Yes!
SCIENCE triumphantly and reluctantly gave the syringe gun back to the Hatter, who gave her a chest. SCIENCE stared longingly at the syringe gun, but the Hatter pointed back to the chest with a firm finality.
