Eternal Murikabushi of Hunger HP: 88 / 100 Location: B4 Action: Trying to help with Pillar 1 Interaction Roll: 5 (FINALLY???) Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A
Landing on Dagon’s world when she moved everyone……both was and was not what Murikabushi expected. In some respects, if you saw one group teleportation to space, you’d honestly seen all of them. There were only so many ways that you could get a whole group of people to someone else’s planet, and only so many ways that things could go once you got there. Plus, Dagon had warned them what to expect. Having that kind of heads up was always good and important.
On the other hand, Murikabushi found himself hesitating in the face of what had waited on Dagon’s world.
These skeletons…… These were her people, weren’t they? Animated by some malign Chaotic force, yes, but still her people. Murikabushi had to admit, he didn’t know the Dagonite beliefs about what happened after death, or about how corpses were meant to be treated. He didn’t know what scattering someone’s remains would do, or destroying them entirely if that were to happen. Although he managed to dodge around attacks from the skeletons—still taking hits but trying not to attack them in return—the fear of denying someone their proper final rest stayed his hand.
Murikabushi’s magic had incredible destructive potential when used irresponsibly. Airan hadn’t wielded his magic with intent to harm anyone innocent, and he didn’t want to do that either.
Besides, there were more important things. Like, offering what assistance he could to actually getting them into the temple.
One of the pillars hadn’t been solved yet. Dancing around the attacks from the skeletons, Murikabushi glanced over at the group that had assembled around it. Tempesti and Kuakua, he’d had the most experience with (thanks, in the latter case, to Kyoya meeting Kuakua at the park and bringing her home with nem). Solaris, he recognized as one of the other spike-bearers from the dust-up with the Calamitous Harold, and dimly, he felt like he recognized Ekstrom as a Knight who’d fought over in the same vicinity as Solaris during that little shindig. Madriu, he also recognized (though it seemed like Arcalís, Madriu’s partner, was trying to solve the pillar puzzle instead while Madriu was trying to protect everyone, fighting valiantly).
The others (Haik, Bacchus, Yetzirah, and Credence), Murikabushi didn’t recognize, but as he moved himself and Soyala closer to the pillar, he recognized the combined effect of their and the others’ efforts. Everyone had been trying so hard and they’d kept coming so close. And watching as they nudged the pillar’s separate pieces around, Muri felt the picture click together in his head.
“Hey, quickly, what if we……” Nudging past people as gently and carefully as he could, Murikabushi brought himself forward. He didn’t pause to explain what he’d noticed, only pushed the pillar’s pieces just so, letting them come together. Then, he looked back to the group. “I only noticed anything because of all the work that everyone here did. All of you—this was your effort, not mine.”
Deep Space Super Sailor Tianyi HP: 63/75 Location: C3 Action: Using first stage magic! Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 10 + 4 = 14
It felt a little wrong, using his magic like this. But someone else had noticed, apparently, and Tianyi looked over at Urda with a grin and a little wave. Being acknowledged....it felt good. Tianyi couldn't help but enjoy it.
"Yeah, that was me! I guess telling them to drop with my magic means they sort of....collapse?" At least he knew he was helping.
These shambling creatures were entirely mindless, and as they reassembled into new, stranger shapes, Tianyi found himself assaulted by a strangely flexible bone-limb and by something scrabbling for his feet.
"Hey!" Tianyi gasped, offended. "Blossoming Order! I said," he stomped his foot again, a slightly petulant reaction to his magic apparently only being a temporary solution, "fall! And stay down!" Though he doubted it would actually matter, since his command hadn't kept them on the ground before this. Ugh.
"Are you okay? They're not super strong, but there are a lot of them...!"

Deep Space Eternal Sailor Dagon HP: 82/100 Location: D2 Action: Pouring the magic water into the basin; beginning to raise the path Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A
The skeletons rose again. Dagon could not help but find that entirely typical; perhaps Chaos had inherited some of the stubborn hardiness of her people, as it ravaged through them and puppeted their bones in a vile parody of the struggles they had fought through over the past thousand years.
They grasped at her, trying to distract her, but her focus was on the basin, on the hoipe that perhaps she might see something, so she could suggest
But the third pillar lit up.
Its light struck the barrier.
The barrier came down. Dagon let out a cry of pride, whirling to face the group who had brought it together.
"Perfect! Thank you!" Her voice cut over the din of battle. "Now, onward!"
She uncapped the vial of sacred water and poured it into the basin, and there was a burst of vibrant blue light, and the water began to churn. The rise was slow, but steady. It would take time for it to be fully revealed--and though the shape of the domed roof of a temple began to emerge, so too did something else.
A massive shape, stretched out before the temple. Strange and ominous, a shadow under the water more than anything.
And worse, it seemed Chaos had more to throw at them. A true horde of animated skeleton creatures, crashing through any barriers protecting the area, and attacking with teeth, claws, and amalgamated limbs. A desperate effort to stop the group before they could move forward.

MAP:
Squares should be treated as 5 feet by five feet, so please consider that when using magical attacks! All characters will arrive within one square of D4, (in any directions, including diagonal) and you may move two squares per round!
Each character will be targeted by four fungal skeletons in this round; these skeletons have 5 HP and will do 3 DMG each (12 DMG total) automatically. When destroyed, the skeletons will reform from whatever bone detritus they can find; this probably means they're going to get freakier the longer we go.
Characters must choose either to attack their own skeletons or someone else's this round. Your efforts must be concentrated!
Any skeletons not fully destroyed in this round may linger...
Physical and magical attacks can both target all skeletons a character is engaging with.
PUZZLE MECHANICS:
All pillars are solved! Now, the wait is for the temple to rise out of the sea....
If you choose to attempt to solve the puzzle, please declare which pillar you are attempting to solve and roll 1d6! you must match the number for the pillar you chose. Please do not change pillars if you happen to roll a solve for one you were not interacting with.
Character Name and journal linkEternal Solaris of Catalysts HP: 76 / 100 Location: B4 -> C3 Action: Attacking skeletons focusing on her Interaction Roll: Super stage magic; rolled 6+6=12 Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 10+12 = 22 all 4 skeletons go bye-bye.
This was at least the grand benefit of having a bunch of other people around. More than one set of eyes and pairs of hands to figure out a problem. "You're allowed to at least humble-brag," she tossed at Murikabushi, recognizing the senshi who'd solved their frustrating puzzle. Her words were chipper, smile bright--all a good-natured tease, if her intentions projected correctly.
Now though, they could keep moving forward--sort of. The continued reforming of the skeletons wasn't great, and as claws and fangs lashed out her and snagged cloth and sheer material and skin... "Guess we should head towards Dagon?" Her question was a general one to those around, even if she was looking curiously at Ekstrom--and her attention snagging briefly on another clearly non-human senshi (Kua'kua)! Were these other circumstances, she'd be more interested in chatting with them, but given their predicament... had to shelve that. Focus on getting over towards Dagon. Temple rising and all that being closer to where she was.
But Solaris certainly wasn't all too cheery towards the skeletons. Huffing, she bolted forward, preferring a little bit of space before she used her magic. "Catalytic Combustion." The spark ignited at her finger tip with her magic focused, and off the golden orb shot--
--oh. Well. Her eyes widened a bit as the golden energy ripped through all four skeletons before her with perfect ease. "Hm." Her brows furrowed as she eyed the air where the bodies had once stood and now just glittered with bits of golden, sparkling dust that was already fading. "That.... was probably stupid to use. That was overkill on something that's just cobbling itself back together all the time."
