Character Name:Dering, Knight of Lysithea Location: C8 HP: 100 Target: N/A Action: Wallflowering/Waiting Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: N/A
Cynthus had a very distinct battle cry that drew Dering’s attention briefly, but he was comforted by the fact that she was surrounded by people he knew would have her back as much as she’d have theirs. They looked in good condition, too–except for the red on Amarynthos’ sleeve but Dering ignored the twisting in his gut and let himself think it was just an optical illusion.
He’d seen Reims’ look–wanted to protest it, too. He didn’t want Reims to just go rushing into things. Dering trusted him, of course. He wore a tight smile and said nothing, but his knuckles were white on his lute.
Reims didn’t seem excited, but he seemed ready. Lisse radiated a bit more energy. He stayed still by Lisse, and offered him the same smile as the other Knight unleashed his magic. He didn’t know what he expected of Halle; he hadn’t really gotten to see much of his fighting before. He expected a shield, though. At some point.
Dering drew his lute a little closer, fingers twitching over the strings. He didn’t play.
Halle’s shield was different from his own–but he expected that. There was only one enemy near them right now, and his shield–well, it had to be better than Dering’s right?–so Reims was probably fine. They were all probably fine. The shield looked safe, so much so that in that second he was sure that it must certainly be impenetrable.
His fingers twitched again. His fingers pressed against the strings tightly but he still didn’t strum. His magic stayed locked within his lute while his eyes darted across the room, like if he looked quickly enough he might be able to find some other danger before it launched at them.
There was a building pressure, deep in the pit of his stomach and stretching to the hollow of his throat. Halle had his summon? Reims did too. Did Lisse–?
Dering didn’t. Nor could he risk smashing his lute against something just to do a bit of damage. His magic could shield. He wasn’t sure if he could bring himself to strike anything with enough force to break it.
He watched. He waited.

Character:Amarynthos, Knight of the Moon Location: I9 HP: 100 Target:Construct 2 in I9 Action: Attacking with weapon Damage Done: 6 Enemy HP:0
Cynthus’ voice carried across the room with more right than it had to, but at least Amarynthos didn’t have to look to make sure she was okay. He was keeping a mental map of where everyone was, and for the most part he could see them so didn’t have to worry. Well–no, he should probably still worry about Reims, who was probably rushing recklessly into danger.
He didn’t move too far from Ephesus–stayed within arm’s reach, really–but he took the opportunity to thwack the construct with his staff. He didn’t have to get too close to it to do so, but he wasn’t even sure how much effect any of his magic might have on these things.
Tempesti had said the butterflies could shoot darts; he didn’t want to risk Cynthus or Ephesus–or himself, or any of the others–getting shot with some old robot dart and coming out of this with tetanus, or worse.

Character:Super Grieve of the Collapse Location: D9 HP: 75 Target: Construct 1 Action: casting her basic magic Damage: 11 Enemy HP:0
Well that sure looked like a giant ******** off of a sphere. At least a*****e Butterfly Right got taken out, and Leftmost ******** was looking pretty back. But she didn't want to get in the middle of a ******** rumble when the Cosmos' Rearmost Eyehole was looming on high.
With a gesture, Grieve cast her magic and met, thank ********, with a measure of success for once.

Character Name:Sailor Vilenius, DSS of Melancholy Location: F9 HP: 50 Target: N/A Action: Whining Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: N/A Enemy HP: N/A
Vilenius half-scowled when Kemi suggested he was doing any sort of damage to his eyes, and belligerently lowered his hands from his face to glower. “I have adapted to Earth,” he huffed. He had, in some ways. He’d not ever really been well-traveled before Earth but he had survived for this long, and he had been doing a very good job learning how to (mostly) fit in.
He didn’t have to work as hard when he was powered up, but then–he was blue so it was significantly more difficult to pass as human, so he didn’t bother.
“Do you want to fight? You don’t have to use me as an excuse if you’re scared. I do just fine on my own.” He still hadn’t moved from her, or made any effort to brush her off. He also hadn’t stopped squinting.

Character Name:Super Sailor Kemi, DSS of Deception Location: F9 HP: 75 Target: N/A Action: Taking care of Vlienius to the best of her ability
Kemi drew in a breath and walked with Vilenius, eyeing the room and the battles that had started up again. "I will fight, but would you assist me? My magic isn't that which...hurts others. Not physically. Besides. If you still can't see..." Her voice trailed off and she sighed, wanting to be helping, but also...this seemed to be far more important for the moment.
There was a feeling of obligation when it came to Vilenius, and it wasn't a feeling that she really...enjoyed.
While Oort’s scrutiny of the teruda construct (TC2) doesn’t reveal any obvious weak points at which he can strike immediately, he may notice a slight space at the base of the second segment of its mechanical body, possibly indicating the presence of a hatch or some other opening.
Before any further investigation can occur, however, both teruda constructs succumb to the party’s onslaught, clattering to the ground as though someone had underestimated how many guardians to send.
As the battle progresses, anyone whose gaze might land on the chamber’s walls may recognize that the crystals set within the stone are beginning to glow softly. What precisely is causing this is unclear, but they are noticeably brighter than they were when the chamber door first opened.
As the spherical construct descends toward the party, the rings surrounding its central core begin to roar with lightning, the speed of their rotation generating its own stiff wind and setting the air alight with static electricity.
The crackling along the huge construct’s rings reaches a fever pitch before the energy surges outward like ripples on the surface of a still pond to fill the chamber.
The Wellspring Guardian’s electrical overload damages everyone on the battlefield for 5 HP with the exception of those protected by Halle’s shielding magic. (Characters in C8, C9, D9, and E11)

As the mass of whorling rings and light sent out its crackling shockwave, Tempesti inhaled deeply, gritting her teeth and doing everything she could to ground herself through the pain. Fortunately that wave ended as quickly as it had arrived, its passage brief. It was closer now. Close enough to touch, if she wanted to.
Throwing an anxious glance behind her, the senshi felt an intense gratitude toward the colorful young knight and his unicorns (Halle). She was beyond the reach of his shield but many of her companions were safely behind that aegis, including her less than cautious roommate (Bacchus).
The faster they could subdue this thing the faster they’d be able to awaken this shrine. Theoretically, anyway. She could never quite shake the fear that it wouldn’t be enough, so she forced it into one of the back corners of her mind in the hopes that it would stay there long enough for them to reach the point where they could test that nasty little hypothesis.
She allowed her voice to grow louder, maybe a bit too loud, a flimsy bravado fueled declaration that she was unafraid.
“Harrowing Storm!”
The winged women stormed forth around her, a spectral presence that served as a not quite tangible declaration of their right to be there. Their right to help this planet heal.

Character:[x] Niflhel Knight of Saturn Location: C9 - > D9 HP: 97 Target: Wellspring Guardian Action: Aiming his meteor hammer at Wellspring Guardian Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: ? (1D10) Enemy HP: ???? A lot
Niflhel was watching the wellspring guardian with caution he was thankful for the shield that Halle provided. Since it seemed to help keep him from feeling the attack that was going on over them. They had to act fast if they wanted this thing to go down.
He took a breath and looked for an opening to swing his hammer at the big old construct but the issue was he didn't think there was anything to latch onto. He also wasn't sure about trying to climb it and use his magic to see if it'd slow it down or disable it long enough to buy the others time.
The knight was weighing his options and what sounded the most reasonable vs the most reckless. He could hear Snowball in the back of his head giving him hell if he tried to climb the thing so he just settled for aiming his meteor hammer at it and hoping it'd do some good.
Character:[x] Cardinal, Senshi of the Uktena Location: I10 -> I9 HP: 45 Target: TC2 Action: Searching the construct for something useful Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: Debuff (1d6) - ?? Enemy HP: ?????
Cardinal frowned heavily, the two constructs seem to go down almost too easy. She was thinking but decided to divert her attention for a second. Which might have been a dangerous choice but maybe the construct had something she could use?
After all they were old. Surely there was something she could find to use in her favor right? She was trying to pry open parts to see if anything would come open. Worse case she just ruined her chance to do anything useful. The senshi of the Uktena glanced up at the wellspring guardian to see how much time she had to search the wreckage.
"Oh come on show me a secret" She muttered as she worked.
She paused as she watched the large whirling rings that was interesting. However the senshi let out a squeak when the lightning started striking and she watched her hair stand on end as the static electricity bubbled in the air.
There was a displeased face when the energy surged through the room. She could do without that, she didn't want to touch the other construct for a moment for fear that it would conduct the lightning. She didn't feel like being a lightning rod tonight, or ever.
While she was searching the wreckage she called out her attack to try and slow the wellspring construct. "Uktena's shine" She hoped this bought herself some more time.
Uktena's Shine - 2/.3
When Cardinal calls this attack an illusion of the Uktena appears behind where Cardinal is standing. The gem on her tiara then gives off a dazzling light that temporarily leaves her opponents seeing spots if they look directly at her.
This attack lasts for 30 seconds and can be used 3 times. This attack effects those opponents that are 10 foot (cone radius) in front of Cardinal. Usually, the spots seen from the light after the attacks ends are also gone, but could last longer and be distracting if a player so wishes.

D'oh forgot to roll. -- this is for debuffing the big guy. (updating original post)
The air crackled bright and hot. Reims braced for impact, but instead of the sting of lightning, he only felt the faint hum of energy breaking harmlessly across Halle’s shield.
He stared, stunned for a moment, then let out a sharp breath and gave Halle another nod, more confident this time.
“Thanks. Good call,” he said, voice low but clear enough to carry. There was just a moment when he thought about thanking him for not listening to his brother, but Lisse couldn’t have known another construct would have attacked, seeing as their first target had been dealt with.
Reims tightened his grip on his sword and glanced back just long enough to check on Dering and Lisse, his eyes scrutinizing any sign the burst had caused them injury. Quiet relief settled over him when neither seemed more than a bit rattled. They were okay. His shoulders eased, but only a fraction.
He glanced across the chamber again, noting the faint glow along the walls. That wasn’t good. Not unless someone had a plan he didn’t know about.
He shifted back into position, taking a half-step closer to Dering and Lisse as though to shore up their formation again. They’d been lucky once, but luck never lasted. Better to be ready for the next strike.
“Stay sharp,” he warned, lifting his sword again and readying his stance before lunging forward to strike at the floating construct.
Quote:
Knight magic: When Reims channels his magic, the lust for battle courses through him and his strength is increased, allowing him to hit twice as hard as he normally would. Every time his weapon makes contact, there is an extravagant burst of colorful light from his weapon, as if catching and shattering light even without a light source. The colorful light manifests into glass shards, always directed at his target. There are never more than three at a time, and no larger than his palm, that causes the sensation of moderate to severe lacerations. Players can choose to take lasting damage. His magic pool lasts for 45 seconds.
Character:Cynthus, Squire of the Moon Location: To H8 HP: 75-5 = 70 (thank you guine for reminding me to subtract the hp sweatdrop ) Target: Guardian Action: Attacking with her crook. Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: 3
“Yeah, kick it’s a**!” Cynthus cheered as their combined forces knocked the butterfly constructs out of play.
She was pleased, until they all got zapped. “Ow!”
Maybe it wasn’t so bad. Sure, it seemed like a lot since most of them got hit, but it was fine. She’d had worse. That had to have been like a warning shot or something. No biggie. She wasn’t even singed.
“I’m okay!” she announced to whoever felt the need to listen. Poe and Paradise, definitely. Cynthus glanced at them to make sure they weren’t hit too hard, then Ephesus and Amarynthos, too. “We’re all good, yeah? Yeah. This is fine. We’ve got this.”
If she sounded nervous at all, no she didn’t. She was totally confident about this! They could probably handle it all on their own, but they’d definitely get it done faster with all these people here.
With another ferocious roar (briefly interrupted by a "Coming through!" as she passed Sessrumnir, Alastor, and Lucien) Cynthus charged at the guardian and whacked at it with all her might, giving her swing a little flourish to show off for Paradise in particular, whose weapon was similar and who could thus use a few pointers.

Character:Blarney Location: C4 HP: 50-5 = 45 Target: Big fella (E4 or so) Action: oh he's doing somethin REAL stupid (jump into ball? surely that will fix it!) Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: tbd
He could do this he could do this he could not possibly do this ever in one thousand years why did he think he could do this oh this was such a bad idea who had ever let him come to this stupid fight there should be a 'you must be this tall to fight the monsters' sort of restriction but for powers because he could not possibly do this.
That was about all he had time to think before the lightning.
When he managed to stand, he knew one thing with perfect clarity: he did not want to get struck by lightning again.
Okay, he knew two things: even though he could not do it, he had no choice but to do it, so he would just have to do it.
With a mighty yell, Blarney did what Blarney did best: charged in first, worry about whether it would kill him later. He was just a kid - a baby Page with nothing but a stick to fight with - but he was here and all his friends were trying and fighting and doing this, because that's what the good guys did, and gosh darn it if Blarney wasn't going to be a good guy - even if it killed him.
Blarney took just a moment to activate the telepathic earring affixed to his ear to think, as loudly as he could, Sorry, Mads. I love you, before Blarney leapt toward the floating construct - aiming not to hit it with his little stick, at least not yet, but rather to propel himself inside the thing.
What he would do if he got there, he had no idea, because he was pretty sure he wouldn't live long enough to find out.
Character:Chibi Super Sailor Oort Location: Moving from E11 to D11 HP: 75/75 Target: Grieve Action: Boosting Grieve Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: 6 Enemy HP: N/A
Whilst Oort hadn't noticed anything that had exactly screamed 'weakness', he had spotted the slight space at the base of the second segment of the butterfly-like construct - although everyone else's efforts had brought the thing and its advance to a halt before he could fully look into it–
And, from the looks of things, had brought down the other butterfly-like construct too.
Which left the third construct.
Aka the towering, crystal-like armillary sphere that was still bearing down on them.
Energy crackled violently before surging out towards them in a way that suggested 'incoming pain', and Oort tried his best to brace himself for the hit.
But nothing happened.
Oort hesitated for a moment, blinking, before reddish eyes flicked to watch Oberon to see how he'd fared.
Then Oort narrowed his gaze at the giant sphere construct that was still bearing down on them, before calling on his magic with a quiet huff.
"Key Up!"
He pointed the small key that formed towards the blue-haired super senshi with the interesting horns (Grieve), and turned it as if in an invisible lock.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Key Up! Oort calls on his magic while chanting the name of this attack and the magic forms into a small ethereal-looking ornate key. By standing in front of an ally and turning the key as if in an invisible lock Oort can use this this to give an ally either a strength boost or a speed boost (one or the other and he doesn't get to choose which) of about 15%. Alternatively Oort can use it on himself, but he will only get the speed boost. Duration: Oort has 15 seconds to use the 'key' otherwise the key will disappear. The boost will last for 10 seconds once Oort has used the 'key' Usage amounts: Twice per standard battle, but not on the same person.
