Promethei, Squire of Mercury"Yeah. Jackalopes are mythical rabbits, right? Or rabbit deer? Some s**t. Rabbits tend to group, so I should probably be following where I've seen the others in the underbrush." Promethei kept his eyes out, picking out what places felt like they made sense. He should keep his eyes out for rabbit burrows, too. Would make sense for it to return to its nest. There wasn't enough variance from the lavender to rely on that bandana on its neck as a way to spot it, so that wouldn't work. Rabbit pawprints would be unreliable at best in this area. Ah! There! ... s**t. Why was he here? Conceptually, he knew why. This was the princess who had gotten him out of the Negaverse. Still, though, here? Today? Now?Promethei quietly cleared his throat. "Ah, found the jackalope. Over there." Pointing it out would also point out Emain Ablach. [promethei has spotted the jackalope! ... and emain ablach]

Erytheia looked for the purple ribbon. But with all the purple flowers, it was nigh impossible to try and look for. ✪

Hierapolis probably could have used the others to help his hunting efforts, such as they were, but he had wondered off a bit. He needed a breather - to feel like maybe there weren't eyes on him so he could gather himself. Rationally he knew no one was paying him any mind, despite being this tall, lanky, stranger. However he was having A Time which he would note to pencil in some time to talk to a professional about at a later date, and he was doing his best at the moment to not find the nearest Jackalope den and hide in it.
Well, he had found what he presumed was some sort of den, but he wasn't exactly sticking his head in there to check.

Super Sailor PerditaPerdita didn’t mind Connie’s rambling. She didn’t mind silence either, but silences could be awkward with some people, and chatter could often be a nice change of pace. Though Perdita’s smile remained small, the warmth it emitted grew.
“Leave it to Destiny City to have magical puddles,” she said. Normally she would be concerned that someone had almost drowned, but Connie was so cheerful about it Perdita’s worries didn’t have the chance to grow out of hand.
Perdita followed along, letting Connie choose the direction. Only putting the barest amount of effort into finding the jackalope herself, Perdita was startled to spy a streak of purple out of the corner of her eye. She turned quickly, but whatever it was had gone before she could do anything about it.
“I thought I saw it,” she told Connie. “Just there.”

Super Sailor YmirYmir paused and eyed Surtur, suddenly confused. He looked from the flower to Surtur’s eyes, then back again. It wasn’t difficult to determine what Surtur meant to do, Ymir simply hadn’t been prepared for it, nor could he decide how to feel about it.
He liked to be protected but not sheltered, supported but not coddled. Ymir didn’t know whether or not Surtur’s actions could be classified as the latter. Kindness from others had been so infrequent throughout his life, offered to him by so few. Having it extended to him, even from someone he now knew to be kind in general, was a strange experience.
Eventually, Ymir nodded, the jackalope momentarily forgotten.

Transcended Princess Eternal Sailor GanymedeGanymede was turning to look at the flowers Eupheme had pointed out when her attention was drawn to the undergrowth. Out peeked a jackalope. Around its neck she saw a purple ribbon.
Her hand settled on Eupheme’s shoulder just as Eupheme came back to the ground.
“Wait,” she whispered. She hadn’t taken her eye off of the jackalope, hoping Eupheme would notice and they could figure out a way to catch it—for Eupheme’s sake, not her own. What eight year old girl wouldn’t want to cuddle such a cute creature?
Before Eupheme could look, a twig snapped somewhere and the jackalope bolted back into the undergrowth, which rustled as it darted away.

Sailor Zenobia Zenobia sighed this was a little harder than she thought. This jackalope is faster than she thought. Then to add the fact that there are other non ribbon jackalope running about too. She decided to focus on the task at hand and pushed herself to keep up with the elusive jackalope. Darting through the trees, she kept her eyes peeled for any sign of movement, hoping to catch a glimpse of the mythical creature with the ribbon around its neck. ((66))

Eternal Sailor Tjilaki The jackalope led Tjilaki on a wild chase through the woods, its agile leaps and darting movements challenging her at every turn. But Tjilaki was determined, her focus unwavering as she kept pace with the elusive creature. Branches whipped past her face, the earthy scent of the forest filling her nostrils as she pushed herself to her limits. The purple ribbon served as a beacon, guiding her deeper into the heart of the woods. She didn't see the jackalope, but she just moved with instinct where she thought it might be.

Ngome Pushing aside branches, Ngome found two jackalopes hurdled together. They were not the jackalope in question. Ngome's brow furrowed in frustration as she realized she had stumbled upon not one, but two incorrect jackalopes. She took a deep breath to calm her racing heart, refusing to let discouragement cloud her focus. These were merely distractions on her path to finding the true target, the one with the purple ribbon around its neck.

Connie, Squire of ChronosConnie gasped when Perdita said she saw the bunny.
“Really?” she squeaked with excitement, gently tugging Perdita along with her. It was nice to be there with someone she knew. Sure, there were a lot of people she didn’t know and could probably meet, but she was perfectly content running around with Perdita
But it wasn’t purple that caught her attention. It was on something green.
“Oh! Oh! I think I know-- oh, yes, let’s go this way. I want you to meet my friend,” she insisted, tugging Perdita in the direction towards the Jupiter Squire. He looked like he was focused on finding the jackalope, but if they all teamed up, it would be easier to find it, right?
“His name is Belmont and he’s saved me from so many bugs,” she admitted with a shutter, but was still cheerful. They would just have to catch up with him.

Sailor Chibi EuphemeEupheme froze when a hand rested on her shoulder. She knew her mom meant for her to look for the jackalope, but just as she turned to look, she only caught what might have been some movement in the undergrowth.
“Oh, it ran off,” she frowned, her shoulders slumped a bit. But no, she was determined. They would still find it, and even if they couldn’t catch it, she wanted to at least try!
“Do you have cute animals like this on Ganymede?” she chirped curiously, although she tried to keep her voice down. She knew about the butterflies, but there had to be other cute animals too, right?

Super Sailor SurturSurtur looked quite pleased with himself, even though he knew they were supposed to be looking for the elusive animal. He took a step closer so he could gently brush back Ymir’s hair and just as carefully tuck the purple flower behind his ear.
“There. It draws out the color of your eyes,” he informed him. Surtur took a step back before placing his hands on his hips and surveying their surroundings once more.
“The air is so clear here. I look forward to figuring out a way to clear the Chaos from my world so you can visit. Ah, if you wanted. The weather is usually quite mild, although I fear it is not as cool as you prefer."

Reims, Page of GanymedeReims’s eyes narrowed as some kid practically threatened Dering. He clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth, not at all missing how the other spikey croissant boy spoke only to Dering and ignored him.
Not that Reims wanted to talk to anyone who didn’t want to talk to him. It wasn’t just that he didn’t seem interested in anyone but Dering, but he’d interrupted him and distracted Dering, who looked confused and a bit flustered.
“Do you know that guy? Seems like a punk. Trust me, I know the type,” he scoffed, but the mood had already been soured. He was flustered by Dering’s attention being pulled away. Because of course someone with matching symbols would be more important than some guy Dering had run around with, searching for bad guys once or twice or whatever.
It wasn’t Dering’s fault. And he shouldn’t have tried having a conversation while they were looking for the jackalope, anyway.
Reims shrugged in response to the returned question he’d asked. This was a bad idea, and now he was going to be stuck worrying about Dering meeting up with some kid from the unicorn club or whatever.
“Sorry, you sure I’m not bothering you? I -- oh, hey. Wow. It’s hard to feel any auras here, but you’re definitely stronger than the last time we met. That’s awesome!”
Because even if he was grumpy now, he was still proud of Dering. Clearly he needed to be doing more to catch up.
